10 out of 10 food here wether you go for a sweet treat or a good meal this is the place. Been here many times and greeted by the owner with pure hospitality and friendliness. This place is in San Francisco but I technically count it as a hidden tuck spot. You don't have to find anyone for parking spots you are guaranteed to have almost no one in the area but the truck and people who come for the food. They have a daily menu which you can find on Instagram and see what there having for the week. For soul food in San Francisco there's probably less than a handful of places I can't even name another place besides this one and I have been around San Francisco a lot. Glad I found this place will be a regular customer here hope to see them bigger in the future. read more

Wasn't expecting to get food, I saw a sign stating there was a market event held at the upper plaza, across the south driveway. There were two ladies and a man studying the menu and asking questions when I arrived. They eventually placed an order after some discussion and found a table about twenty feet away with chairs. When I reached the table, I placed an order for two BBQ ribs, one with creamy asparagus and the other mac n cheese (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=4dY6beHCA2xEXoHaF_SQ0w&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), saving the asparagus one for my friend that I'd see about thirty minutes later. I brought my plate home and had it for lunch about three hours later. The ribs were still warm unlike the mac n cheese which was already dry and on lukewarm. Starting with the ribs, I must say, they were the best that I've had in a long while especially since they were generous with the addictingly good sauce... to the point that I used my index finger to finish every last drop. The ribs were tender and soft with a slight bite which is how I generally like them; sorry, but my teeth are still good enough not to require fall-off-the-bone soft meats yet. The mac n cheese flavor is on the mild side and I liked that it was not overly salty. The gentleman who took my order and then walked to the grill/smoker to put my orders together told me that they also have a food truck. We showed up to Rome's at 6:30pm at Speakeasy in HP, and he was sold out of food after opening at 3:30pm. He gave us a fat box of fried fish for free, and told us to see him next time. Food was insanely good and he hooked us up fat...and for free. He stands by his food and is super chill...I'm sure he was trying to get home but he hung out and talked to us and laced us up. read more
