Pretty disappointed by my recent experience with Romeo's pizza. I've always had a positive experience with their pizza but the pizza I got on Sunday was pretty terrible. The cheese was barely melted and some parts were not. I got pepperoni and banana peppers that is normally my favorite but it was kind of nasty. I think I need just a plain pepperoni pizza if I ever order again because it's right by my condo. read more

First time ordering from Romeo's. I usually go basic when I try a new pizza place, so I ordered the Pepperoni Feast pizza. What I got was a very thick, doughy crust, sugary sweet sauce, rubbery cheese, and a mere 10 pepperoni on the whole pizza. Not what I call a feast of pepperoni. A dough feast? Yes. I have to say, I've had so-so pizza, but never really BAD pizza until this. I couldn't finish one piece and it all went in the garbage, despite me being very hungry for pizza. Clean environment, friendly people, and fast pizza! What else more could you expect from a fast food pizza joint? Even when I order for delivery, my pizza gets to my place pretty quick or right on time. I think my favorite thing about Romeo's is their sauce. It's sweet and they add a decent amount of sauce if you're a sauce person. They offer a variety of toppings, ones you typically can get, and different types of crust and sauces. I will say their mushroom looks and tastes like canned mushrooms so I don't think I will get those again unless they change it. I loooove mushrooms too so that's the only downside. Also, the last time I got their pizza, the sauce was mainly tomato chunks and not the sauce I'm used to when I order Romeo's. But that buffalo ranch tasting dipping sauce they give you along with it? I ordered a medium well done Traditional Tuscan Pepperoni, however, it was burnt and wasn't edible- the other half was. I called the Gahanna, OH location at 9:50 and spoke to the manager Spencer who wasn't helpful and his only solution was to bring the pizza back for a remake. I asked it I could bring it in the next day because I'm not going back at 10pm and was told no. He also refused to send out a delivery because my initial order was a pick up. We order from here at least once a month, and we always order the best pizza ever: THE GREAT RANCH AND POTATO PIZZA!!!! Sounds weird you say? I agree and that's why I wanted to try it. It blew my mind, and now I make all my friends try it. Everyone's hooked. It's unique with the red potatos, ranch flavored almonds, and ranch bacon sauce. Romeo's pizza is one of our favorite cheap pizza places because of the spicy Capone sauce that comes with every pizza (same concept as garlic sauce with Papa Johns). It's a good dipping option that isn't overwhelming and goes well with the crispy pizza crust. The pizza is fairly greasy, as expected, but it's baked well and always comes hot. The mozzarella sticks are also decent as the breading is herby. Parking is really easy and the wait time is usually reasonable. Overall, I recommend Romeos as a good pizza option in the area. read more

I've heard of Romeo's Pizza a few times at work. Well, I finally went ahead and ordered some, and I'm glad I did. I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and a chef salad. The pizza was excellent. Just the right amount of cheese and the sauce, although a tad sweet was excellent. I chose the thin crust. It was flavorful, crispy, and not burned. The salad was a good portion, the greens were nice and fresh,, and there was ample meat. All in all, very satisfying. For the price point it's an excellent pizza. I'll definitely order read more

This store is absolutely terrible. I rarely order because there is ALWAYS an issue and tonight is the same as always. If I could give 0 stars I would. It will be the last time I ever order from here. I tried the text order and it seemed to go well but when I got there at the pickup time my pizza wasn't even in the oven! 20 minutes was the wait time they gave me. 33 minutes later I had a pizza that was WRONG! I love pizza and sometimes I just want to try something different. Some friends of ours introduced us to Romeo's a couple of years ago and I remembered enjoying. So my family and I were driving down Hamilton Rd. recently and thinking about pizza. There are plenty of options in the Gahanna/New Albany area, but we settled on Romeo's and I'm sure glad we did. I called to order and the manager gave me several choices of sauce that I could have on my pizza. Good news already - variety! Since my family prefers cheese pizza, we decided to vary it up on sauce. We ordered two large cheese pizzas - one with zesty marinara and one with their "regular" which is a sweet sauce. The zesty marina was decent and taste like tomato-y sauce, more of a non-processed or homemade feel to it. So if you like that sort of thing, this is your sauce. I thought this sauce was decent. The "regular" sauce was GREAT. Sweet and delicious, it really hit the spot for my pizza craving. My wife and I both decided that is the sauce we will order again and we will be ordering again! When I called, I asked if they have cheesy garlic bread and maybe the manager misunderstood me, but he described a sub bun type of bread that they bake cheese over top of, which is not what I was looking for. We didn't order any for that reason. However, I was given an advertisement when I picked up my pizza and a cheese bread (like a pizza with garlic butter instead of sauce) was described. THAT's what I was looking for, so I will be ordering that next time to go with my pizza. The manager was really nice when I picked up my pizza. I told him I had never been in before and was willing to answer all of my questions. He even told me to check out the Maxtown Rd. location when I'm up that way (because I live equidistant from both locations) Definitely recommended if you're looking for good traditional pizza. Romeo's is our regular pizza night go-to. Their buffalo chicken pizza is incredible. And the Capone sauce they give with every pizza is amazing. Their ingredients taste so fresh always, especially their cheese. They always offer coupons and their delivery drivers are so friendly. It's hard for us to stray from romeos when it's as good as it is! We've never been disappointed *update. Still love their pizza. Still order it every week. We had our first pizza come incorrect, which is fine, mistakes happen, but when I had to contact the store, the person I spoke to was incredibly rude and took zero accountability for the mistake. He argued with me to tell me there was no bacon on the pizza, when I was staring at bacon on the pizza. We do not eat pork and always order the buff chicken pizza with no bacon ranch. Every. Week. He finally reluctantly agreed to send us a new pizza, but wanted the old one back. Fine. I called the store and the individual who answered got fairly loud, rude, and told me I was wrong. He said he would call the driver because it must be there and then he promptly hung up on me. My third order from this location has placed it at the top of my go-to places for excellent delivery options in my neighborhood. While I've been a longtime fan of a certain local pizza chain, the decline of their quality and service sent me looking for a new favourite. Thus far I've been very happy with what I've gotten from this small Medina, Ohio pizza chain each time I've ordered. What sets them apart from the national chains? The made in-house dough gives you superb pizza crusts, from their wonderfully chewy original crust to their crispy thin crust and even deep dish offerings. Sauces, they claim "the secret is in our sauce" and they offer many different tasty options, my fav so far, the roasted garlic sauce. Superior ingredients and plenty of them, every pie I've gotten so far has been well topped without bare spots and baked to perfection. Speaking of sauces, each pizza comes with a serving of their "Capone Sauce" a delightfully spicy dipping sauce that is somewhat familiar with another local chains much naughtier named one. They also have other offerings such as Stromboli, Salads, Subs, Wings and Pasta in many combinations. Service has been great, from easy online ordering to quick, clean and friendly delivery. Romeo's has become my new favorite since discovering them at Slice of Columbus last summer. The sauce is sweeter than others, but I find it delicious. I've never tried their specialty pizzas. I always either top my pies with pepperoni or olives and banana peppers. The only thing I recommend that you avoid is the mushrooms. They taste ok but look like they come from a can ( and we eat with our eyes before our mouths). The service has been fast and friendly every time I've ordered. Because this location is in a plaza, parking is a breeze. As already mentioned by others, they have a limited delivery area, so be prepared for pick up. I will be back--probably on Friday. read more

For our first pizza from Romeo's Pizza, we got the basic large pepperoni, typical crust with their Original Pizza sauce. Overall, the pizza wasn't that bad, not the greatest pizza I have ever eaten, but not certainly the worse. The crust seemed pretty similar to Fox's Pizza Den or what Dominos was many years ago. The thing that stood out to the most is that the sauce was extremely sweet, more than any other pie I could remember. Seemed very similar to Pizza Cottage's sauce and really isn't my cup o tea. I have had problems with my last two orders made through Door Dash. Both pizzas were missing at least one topping. I ordered extra Capone sauces on both orders, the first time I received none, the second time I received half of what I ordered. I ordered chicken fingers on both orders. The first time they were very good, the second time they were incredibly small and no BBQ sauce. Also, the salad and dressing I ordered the second time was missing. I called both times and the person who answered the phone blamed Door Dash. As far as I'm concerned, Door Dash completed their part of the bargain and on time. It is Romeo's that sent out incomplete and wrong orders. It's obvious they have no quality control. The employees that have answered the phone blamed Door Dash.
