Treated to pizza nerds at work. Detroit style perfectly baked to my liking! The cheese was excellent with the perfect amount of sauce. The pep pizza was lacking sauce unlike the cheese one. Definitely would recommend if you're in the area.

When a friend called me to say hey, let's try this pizza place way out on the east side east of Easton, I was wondering why in the world we would travel so far out of our bubble, living on the other side of the Columbus Metropolitan area. Boy, let me tell you I am sure glad that we did this! This pizza is truly FANTASTIC! Well worth the time it took to drive here. I am envious of the local residents who get to live nearby this place! It has a kitschy decor, focused on classic cult movies and nostalgic items. There are only a few tables to dine in, and it appears most people take their pizzas to go. We ate ours on site. Look at my photos you'll see all the boxes stacked up and ready to be filled with their amazing creations. I am not kidding. You need to go try this place. Take a look at the photos. Just the right crunch, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and they don't skimp on ingredients. I cannot imagine someone getting a pizza here and not being a fan of it after they've eaten it. And I say that being a self described pizza aficionado. Get some!!!

We've been wanting to try Pizza Nerds for a few months now, and finally ordered on a cold, rainy Sunday -- the perfect pizza day! Ordering online was super easy and fast. One quick note: Apple Maps currently says they don't open until 3 PM, but that's not true -- they open at noon. I actually requested an edit after realizing that because it gave me a little scare since I had already ordered and paid for pickup! We tried their thick-style weekly special -- spicy vodka sauce, meatballs, basil, and tomatoes -- and it was so good. The crust was buttery and crispy, perfectly balanced. We also ordered a thin crust Hawaiian to try something different, and it was equally delicious -- different texture, same amazing flavor. Both styles were fantastic and will definitely be added into our regular rotation. The ranch deserves a shoutout too -- clearly homemade, creamy with a nice tang. The space itself has a fun '80s theme, and the vibe is super friendly and inviting. They even have homemade cookies that looked tempting... definitely grabbing one next time!

Best specialty pizza in all of Columbus. I absolutely love their Detroit style crust! So for this this week only I ordered. "The Texas Tony" (I like mine well done) Swiss American, Mozzarella, Beef, Bacon, Crispy Onions, and thier house-made Nerds Tangy Burger Sauce, straight up ridiculous! Brent was kind enough to let me try their new Garlic Knots that are Comings soon! Stuffed Triple Choco Cookie (A must have!)

The entire experience was notably enhanced by the attentive service offered. Harlen demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the interaction. His professionalism and efficiency contributed significantly to the positive atmosphere. Moreover, his knowledge of the menu was impressive, and he was able to offer helpful suggestions. Ultimately, the exceptional service was a key factor in the overall success. Pizza Nerds

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday - we thought they had tables for dine in but as of February 2026, it is carry out only! The pizza is Detroit style and pretty tasty - a little greasy but to be expected. The fresh ricotta on top was a major highlight ! While on the expensive side it was still delicious. Our group also got several cookies - they were ok but not out of this world, really nothing special except a slightly under baked center. For the price, there are better "gourmet" cookies around. Overall go for a pizza but don't expect to eat there!

Another review for Pizza Nerds! This time we tried the monthly special called Eugene. It was a crab rangoon inspired pizza drizzled with sweet chili sauce. It definitely had a kick! This pizza was yummy & glad I got to try it but wish it was cheesier. I'm assuming it had cream cheese but it wasn't obvious (at least not in the one we ordered). This was the first time dinning in & unfortunately it was so loud in there. Mostly small kids slamming on the video games. The drink options are a huge bummer though. You can't even get a glass of water because they don't even have a soda fountain. You have to purchase a bottled drink from their cooler. They said they might be getting a liquor license at some point, which I hope so because a beer is what I want when eating pizza. I am a bit bummed that they got rid of salads on their menu, so it's hard to make a meal there of anything but pizza unfortunately. I still rated them high because I like the food & the people but hoping for some of these things to sort themselves out soon.

We were so excited to try Pizza Nerds for the first time. Nothing better than a pizza Friday night! It was packed which is amazing for them. The space is a full-on 80s/90s fever dream and I am so here for it! We live about 20 minutes away and forgot the pizza bag, so it had cooled off quite a bit by the time we got home, but that's our fault. Best part? It still tasted like outstanding! We went with a simple pepperoni plus a cookie, since we base most first-try pizzas this way. Everyone raved about the cookies, so that was a no-brainer. Ok seriously? This pizza was SO freaking good. Nostalgia old school pizza Book It days good. The thick crust is pillowy, like a focaccia. Perfect amount of cheese and cup & char pepperoni. The sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and flavorful (and not over-sauced, either.) I haven't been this impressed by a pizza in awhile, but this might be a new favorite... and Columbus has a strong pizza game. I can't wait to get it again. This is the special Friday Night pizza of my dreams.

I absolutely LOVED the pizza here! We opted to do a deep dish and split the larger size. When you do that, it goes from 9 slices to 8. My husband enjoyed his Donkey Kong, and I kept it simple with pepperoni and cheese. It almost reminded me of what Pizza Hut USED to be like when we were little kids redeeming our Book Club vouchers. Buttery crust with a crisp bite to the bottom, a sweeter sauce, pepperoni slightly singed, nice and cheesy. Speaking of nostalgia, this place is heavy on it. Lots of movie posters from the 90s, Monica and Rachel's door from "Friends", 90s pop music playing on the background. Dude working the front counter was really friendly too. Looking forward to them doing a real sit down situation with fountain drinks. We will happily return, I'm thinking the Cheese and Chong. Wishing Pizza Nerds all the success!

On the left, honey I shrunk the chicken, garlic knots and a half pep and half sausage.

We saw a review on instagram and figured we'd give it a try. We ordered 2 pies and garlic knots. The food was fine but I've had better. I wish they would have given more toppings, for the price point they are at. The sauce is pretty basic and kinda watery, it needed to be cooked down more and needed Italian seasoning. I'm pretty sure it's just tomatoes, onion, garlic and a little salt. The crust was the best part of the pie. The staff was nice and helped us pick which pizza's we ordered. The garlic knots were good but they needed salt in the garlic butter and more parm and Italian seasoning. They just needed to put more seasoning and toppings on everything. We'll give them another shot but I won't be in a hurry to do it. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great and I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and toppings. I'd give it 2.5 out of 5. Not terrible but nothing amazing. It's fine.

Super cool mural inside the shop

The pizza from this spot is top notch. This is not hype-it's really that good. The crust is that perfect balance for those that like a crispy crust and those that like something a little more doughy. I tried their homemade ranch for the first time from the new location and it was 10/10. And the cookies! They're literally so delicious-always stuffed with some delicious something special inside like a birthday cake sprinkle cookie with a cream cheese birthday cake icing sort of filling. This new spot is great with some indoor seating and arcade games. The staff is super nice and helpful. The owners seem really passionate about their shop which I really value in a small business.

I wasn't a huge fan. The decorations are cute. The pizza lacked flavor and the garlic knots tasted frozen. Visually everything looked stunning including the cookies. I just didn't find much flavor in the items I had. I will say the prices aren't bad.

Half Eugene half Mario on thick crust. Soooo good!

I can't say enough about my pizza. I'll never forget it! I have been dying to get here but I saw that the crab Rangoon pizza was back and I got my date and headed there on Friday night. We ordered the thick crust (half Eugene--crab rangoon and half Mario-more traditional pep/banana peppers and hot honey). I loved both but was back by Tuesday to get the Eugene again! This time the owners were there and so personal and soooooo FRIENDLY!!! Super impressed with that! Customer service is out the door, so when it happens, it needs recognized. They also have these amazing cookies--I had an almond one Friday night and got a peanut butter one today. Big, (REALLY BIG), soft and filled and topped with all the things. The almond one was a stand out to me...LOVED IT! Will definitely return when it is featured. They do not have eat in, but we drove up to a local park a few mins away (it's about a 35 min drive from home and I've been twice in 5 days if that tells you anything--plus no way I could wait to dig in!). I want to try the buffalo chicken dip pizza when it returns and alllllll the others. I also want to try the thin crust. Definitely a fan!

Visited: Aug 2025 Heritage Honey pizza sounded like a win -- hot honey, basil, ricotta -- but only the basil came to play. Hot honey was too syrupy, crust was super doughy, and I couldn't taste the red sauce or garlic butter base I asked for. (I saw it. My taste buds didn't.) Loaded Pep & Cheese had more flavor, but still not craveable. We debated the wings... then got the Hot Buffalo BBQ. Ordered them extra saucy after seeing those dry pics online. And yeah -- still a letdown. Even cook, no crisp, no seasoning soaked in. Just chicken being chicken with sauce sitting on top. The vibe? Clean, modern, great staff. The flavor? Flat. Good if you're already nearby. Not worth a trip. That basil, though? Still thinking about it.

We got the 14" Rustic Pizza, Personal Spinach Artichoke and Garlic Parm Jumbo Wings The 14" pizza looked huge and more than enough for 3 people. Lots of toppings and a great sauce. I do wish the dough was cooked a little bit more but everyone else said it was great. The artichoke pizza did not disappoint since there was an abundance of it. The wings were good because they weren't the traditional breaded then fried. I do wish there was more garlic parm flavor but the ranch sauce helped make up for it.
