Great service! Ordered based off TikTok reviews for the buffalo pizza - they don't have it anymore so we went for the Thick Crust Mario (hot honey, pepperoni, banana pepper). Good quality toppings and they have a really delicious ranch you can get on the side which was our favorite part. Generous sizes for the side sauces. Not too much hot honey flavor, but they provided red pepper flakes and parm. I asked for light sauce and extra cheese, because I don't really love tomato sauce and they have a pesto but not as a base option. I was surprised after paying for extra cheese that the sauce was still visible - it seemed like a regular pizza amount of cheese, so maybe not a great place for modifications but overall good pizza. Got the medium cook on the dough and was very satisfied with the crisp and light browning. Not burnt, not doughy, just as described. They had a great deal for a free cheesy bread when you spend $30 - and we liked it even more than the pizza! It was so seasoned - garlicky, buttery, generous herby oregano, and a nice crisp crust on the bottom. Came with 2 big sides of red sauce. When a friend called me to say hey, let's try this pizza place way out on the east side east of Easton, I was wondering why in the world we would travel so far out of our bubble, living on the other side of the Columbus Metropolitan area. Boy, let me tell you I am sure glad that we did this! This pizza is truly FANTASTIC! Well worth the time it took to drive here. I am envious of the local residents who get to live nearby this place! It has a kitschy decor, focused on classic cult movies and nostalgic items. There are only a few tables to dine in, and it appears most people take their pizzas to go. We ate ours on site. Look at my photos you'll see all the boxes stacked up and ready to be filled with their amazing creations. I am not kidding. You need to go try this place. Take a look at the photos. Just the right crunch, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and they don't skimp on ingredients. I cannot imagine someone getting a pizza here and not being a fan of it after they've eaten it. We've been wanting to try Pizza Nerds for a few months now, and finally ordered on a cold, rainy Sunday -- the perfect pizza day! Ordering online was super easy and fast. One quick note: Apple Maps currently says they don't open until 3 PM, but that's not true -- they open at noon. I actually requested an edit after realizing that because it gave me a little scare since I had already ordered and paid for pickup! We tried their thick-style weekly special -- spicy vodka sauce, meatballs, basil, and tomatoes -- and it was so good. The crust was buttery and crispy, perfectly balanced. We also ordered a thin crust Hawaiian to try something different, and it was equally delicious -- different texture, same amazing flavor. Both styles were fantastic and will definitely be added into our regular rotation. The ranch deserves a shoutout too -- clearly homemade, creamy with a nice tang. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday - we thought they had tables for dine in but as of February 2026, it is carry out only! The pizza is Detroit style and pretty tasty - a little greasy but to be expected. The fresh ricotta on top was a major highlight ! While on the expensive side it was still delicious. Our group also got several cookies - they were ok but not out of this world, really nothing special except a slightly under baked center. For the price, there are better "gourmet" cookies around. This pizza was yummy & glad I got to try it but wish it was cheesier. I'm assuming it had cream cheese but it wasn't obvious (at least not in the one we ordered). This was the first time dinning in & unfortunately it was so loud in there. Mostly small kids slamming on the video games. The drink options are a huge bummer though. You can't even get a glass of water because they don't even have a soda fountain. You have to purchase a bottled drink from their cooler. They said they might be getting a liquor license at some point, which I hope so because a beer is what I want when eating pizza. I am a bit bummed that they got rid of salads on their menu, so it's hard to make a meal there of anything but pizza unfortunately. We were so excited to try Pizza Nerds for the first time. Nothing better than a pizza Friday night! It was packed which is amazing for them. The space is a full-on 80s/90s fever dream and I am so here for it! We live about 20 minutes away and forgot the pizza bag, so it had cooled off quite a bit by the time we got home, but that's our fault. Best part? It still tasted like outstanding! We went with a simple pepperoni plus a cookie, since we base most first-try pizzas this way. Everyone raved about the cookies, so that was a no-brainer. Ok seriously? This pizza was SO freaking good. Nostalgia old school pizza Book It days good. The thick crust is pillowy, like a focaccia. Perfect amount of cheese and cup & char pepperoni. I absolutely LOVED the pizza here! We opted to do a deep dish and split the larger size. When you do that, it goes from 9 slices to 8. My husband enjoyed his Donkey Kong, and I kept it simple with pepperoni and cheese. It almost reminded me of what Pizza Hut USED to be like when we were little kids redeeming our Book Club vouchers. Buttery crust with a crisp bite to the bottom, a sweeter sauce, pepperoni slightly singed, nice and cheesy. Speaking of nostalgia, this place is heavy on it. We saw a review on instagram and figured we'd give it a try. We ordered 2 pies and garlic knots. The food was fine but I've had better. I wish they would have given more toppings, for the price point they are at. The sauce is pretty basic and kinda watery, it needed to be cooked down more and needed Italian seasoning. I'm pretty sure it's just tomatoes, onion, garlic and a little salt. The crust was the best part of the pie. The staff was nice and helped us pick which pizza's we ordered. The garlic knots were good but they needed salt in the garlic butter and more parm and Italian seasoning. They just needed to put more seasoning and toppings on everything. We'll give them another shot but I won't be in a hurry to do it. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great and I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and toppings. I'd give it 2.5 out of 5. The pizza from this spot is top notch. This is not hype-it's really that good. The crust is that perfect balance for those that like a crispy crust and those that like something a little more doughy. I tried their homemade ranch for the first time from the new location and it was 10/10. And the cookies! They're literally so delicious-always stuffed with some delicious something special inside like a birthday cake sprinkle cookie with a cream cheese birthday cake icing sort of filling. I can't say enough about my pizza. I'll never forget it! I have been dying to get here but I saw that the crab Rangoon pizza was back and I got my date and headed there on Friday night. We ordered the thick crust (half Eugene--crab rangoon and half Mario-more traditional pep/banana peppers and hot honey). I loved both but was back by Tuesday to get the Eugene again! This time the owners were there and so personal and soooooo FRIENDLY!!! Super impressed with that! Customer service is out the door, so when it happens, it needs recognized. They also have these amazing cookies--I had an almond one Friday night and got a peanut butter one today. Big, (REALLY BIG), soft and filled and topped with all the things. The almond one was a stand out to me...LOVED IT! Will definitely return when it is featured. They do not have eat in, but we drove up to a local park a few mins away (it's about a 35 min drive from home and I've been twice in 5 days if that tells you anything--plus no way I could wait to dig in!). What a fun themed pizza shop that serves a delicious pizza. So happy they have arrived in the CBus market. They were a long standing shop in Newark and recently opened in Gahanna. So happy to have a good pizza option that isn't like eating a cracker with sauce and toppings. They have a small dining area to eat in and also offer takeout. We called in our order to a very pleasant person and then upon agreeing received text message updates on our order. Our pizza was prepared quickly and was ready upon my arrival. So hot today so I decided that I would go to Pizza Nerds for a pizza. Ordered a small pepperoni, mushroom and Hot Honey. Brent and Ellie were working today. I love coming here just for the simple fact that they are the most down to earth people. Love to discuss what is going on in the pizza world. Pizza came out and got in the car, OMG the aroma. Got home and got half the pizza out for today. The crust was nice n crispy on the bottom and sides. They use a phenomenal sauce with chunky tomatoes. Gives it a really fresh taste. Picked up "Pizza Needs" for the first time for the family. I had heard good things about their pizza and we opted to give them a try when we found out our other pizza place went out of business. When you enter the shop, it's very quirky with pictures, and large old school arcade games. Very nostalgic and reminds me of how I grew up. Their customer service was good, very chill, and friendly, which I loved. I mentioned it was our first time having their pizza, and the guy at the desk immediately perked up and mentioned that we would like it because they make their own sausage in house, he also told me to have a good day! Which many places don't always do because they're so rushed. Got home and tried it out with the fam. We all thought it was pretty decent. Not too salty like most pizza tends to be, however the sausage almost tasted like ham or bacon. I think the only down side is that it's pan, square, and deep dish so we only got 3 pieces each. But it was more than enough for me. Unfortunately They aren't close to where we live, so I'm not sure of our chances of going back any time soon. However, the customer service was really good. I'm so in love with this pizza -- I've tried both the thick and thin and can't decide which I love more. The ranch is the best ranch I've ever had in my life. I have to say though... as a place that seems to be all about its unique specialty pies, the offerings for vegetarians are a bit disappointing and limited. I would absolutely order from here more often if the vegetarian specialty pies offered more than just the typical vegetable toppings and pesto. Beyond the deliciousness, I appreciate that they have a text system which alerts you that your pizza will be ready in about 15 mins, they have a reward system, and the cookies are also great. And they are starting to do specials. Only negatives are that the online ordering is still missing some toppings/ items, and the phone line can get super busy, which also leads to backed up lines to pick up. Mae tried Pizza Nerds last night to see what the hype was all about! We got the 1/2 Donkey Kong and 1/2 Captain Planet. You can order online, but there seemed to be limited options online (ie. cannot order cookies or 1/2 &1/2 pizzas) so we ended up calling in! They were super helpful and the pretty quick to get our order done. They text you when the pizza is heading into the oven to help you time your drive so you can pick up fresh! Out of the two pizzas, our favorite was the Donkey Kong. The Donkey Kong was DELICIOUS and I say that as someone who is not a typical pickle fiend. The Captain Planet was also good, but didn't seem super special. The cookies though were honestly our favorite parts of the meals. They were huge and soft. The flavors change daily, but we got the M&M and snickerdoodle w/ vanilla filling. They were quite possibly the best cookies we've ever had (and we've had our fair share of them!) I had forgotten my phone when I went to pick up the order so unfortunately I don't have pictures of the inside, but it was decked out in old toys (so many FURBIES!) and had a few arcade style games to help kill some time. read more

This could possibly be my new favorite pizza. I found out about them on Youtube. I ordered two pies for Wildcard Weekend. I ordered the limited time Kano pizza and the Donkey Kong pizza. This place is about 40 minutes from me, but it was well worth it. The Kano pizza comes with breaded chicken, french fries, and a tangy drizzle sauce. The Donkey Kong pizza comes with hamburger, red onions, pickles, and smash sauce. I asked them to remove the pickles on my pizza. The inside of this place is really cool. They have a lot of retro items and decor. I will have to snap some pics the next time I visit. The Kano pizza was my favorite, sucks it is a limited run. The tangy sauce was an amazing compliment to the breaded chicken and fries. The crust is deep dish style, and it was cooked to perfection! The Donkey Kong pizza was really nice as well. I tried Pizza Nerds this weekend and it was sooo good! I got the 12x12 since I wasn't sure how filling it would be and I wanted left overs. I'll preface this by saying/admitting I am a New Yorker and a pizza snob. I'm not a fan of Pizza Nerds. Here's why. 1. Doughy; more than the cheese, sauce, toppings, the dough/bread to me is a bit overpowering, or the balance is underwhelming. I felt it could have been baked long to take some of that doughy feel out 2. I didn't think there was much cheese. As mentioned, a lot of dough, weak on toppings 3. Sauce, and perhaps this is just a midwest thing, but it has a bit of spice/heat to it. Not a lot, but it's there. I don't get it, but again, maybe a midwest thing? 4. Cheesy Garlic Bread: where is the garlic. I literally didn't taste a hint of garlic. They use garlic butter, but not garlic. Ironically, if they used this much cheese on the pizza, that would help the pizza While I know managing one box size helps simplify things, getting the 10x10 in such a big box, I couldn't help but think using a smaller box that better fits the pizza is more environmentally friendly, although I will recycle the box. I've lived here over 8 years now, and outside of one or two places, I'm still NOT impressed with the pizza here. I had hopes, while this wasn't going to be NY pizza, that it would have great flavor, but I was really disappointed. I didn't find it better than Jets Pizza really, in fact I'd recommend Jets before Pizza Nerds, which I'm not happy about as I respect the family run business, but the product just isn't doing it for me. read more

I hate to be the one person who doesn't rave about this place but we only eat out once a month now so given the plethora of rave reviews, we thought this would be a safe bet. I need to preface this as we're an 'extra sauce' household. We got a plain pep and cheese but no extra sauce because we wanted to know how it tasted on it's own for our first time as well as a chocolate chip cookie to split. First off, where are all of the pepperoni's like the bazillion other people have on their pizzas in the pics here? We had maybe 15 split over 6 pieces. The sauce is drizzled on top; no sauce as a base so it's basically cheese bread with sauce drizzle and definitely not enough for us. 50% of every bite we took was sauceless. Sigh. Now if I paid the extra $1.50 for the extra 'sauce on top' I suppose it would be fine- the flavor was decent but I'm not a sauce on top kinda girl. So I felt like the dinner I felt a little cheated out of a good monthly meal out. We intended to split a cookie, but I took one bite and handed it over. It didn't taste like chocolate chip at all. I couldn't even tell you what it tasted like other than it smelled a little like Play Doh to me. He ate it out of principle for what we paid. It's clearly other people's cup of tea and that's great.
