I set up contact between Sal and my partner, and expressed the type of vehicle my partner was looking for, and left them to discuss. My partner called Sal, and after greetings were exchanged my partner noted Sal sounded off and asked if it was a bad time and Sal replied "well yeah I'm watching the game. Can I call you back" 5 minutes later texted my partner back "Hey bud my apologies I didn't realize you were Jamie's boyfriend I thought you were telemarketer you can give me a call back if you're available" He and my partner play phone tag for about a week as my partner was working crazy hours, but would always call Sal back once he realized he missed a call. January 2nd, Sal called my partner to check in, and left a voicemail. My partner calls him back a couple hours later after he got off work. Sal doesn't answer, but sends him a text of "I'll call you back" Well...it's been 3 months and we haven't heard a thing since. If The Car Consultants decided we weren't good enough clients from the get go, even though I've done business with Sal before, I wish he would've said something. Instead he left us in limbo, and made ME look like an idiot for recommending Car Consultants. But, in a market where cars are in high demand, supply is drastically low, and are selling for $10k+ over MSRP... thats as good as it gets. We were referred to Arkady through a friend. Hubby has a long history in retail sales, so the car buying experience has always been... eventful, as everyone knows. But now with 2 toddlers in tow, we weren't able to dedicate the months-long research, wheeling and dealing, and multiple dealership trips all over the Bay Area to get what we wanted. So we decided to give Arkady a try. We told Arkady what we wanted. SPECIFICALLY what we wanted. Down to the T. A brand new Platinum Highlander Hybrid in Pearly White. A special order color, in a very sought after trim level and combination. Arkady looked and found us a few, but we weren't ready yet. So we waited. And the aftermath of COVID was in full affect. The dreaded chip shortage. Dealer lots were empty, cars were being bought up like no other, and the market is now flooded with buyers willing to pay top dollar from a supply pool that would disappear with a sneeze. He promised, and delivered in spades. His cost of service is worth its weight in gold. The process was painless. He was prompt with his communication and was always straight forward. Copart has the biggest bunch of idiots and @$$holes of any business I ever had to deal with…read more Totally rude and untrustworthy. Drivers can't tell time apparently. Waited for 5 hours for them to get my car one day (during a time window that THEY chose). Their driver never showed up and then when I called them, they tried to blame me for not being available and understanding! SMH! Finally picked up my car the next day but driver kept saying he was 20 minutes out about 5 different times! If you ever have to deal with Copart... DON'T!!!

Durning my first visit to the car I forgot my wallet in my car. Ops and the the Copart team made sure to find it, lock it in the safe and everything that was in it was still there. Yuk! Did some searching online and found a Bronco that caught my eye on the Ford Store Morgan Hill's website. Took the 30 minute drive there and was greeted by Hector almost immediately. He was friendly, personable, relatable and never pushy. We test drove the one I was interested in and I fell in love with it. The entire purchase process from start to finish was so smooth and easy. This is my 3rd new car purchase in the last decade or so, so I have a few other experiences to compare it to and this was honestly the best.
