On all of our visits the entire staff is friendly and professional. Our service advisor Sarah Gomes is outstanding; her interactions from the first visit reassured us we are in trusted hands for our vehicle needs. She is personable, knowledgeable and about all very professional. All of our maintenance intervals were performed by Victory Honda. Unfortunately our CR-V recently had a major engine failure a day before the 4th of July. Luckily the dealership was still open and shortly the CR-V was towed and Sarah quickly noted all of the symptoms we described and had us on our way with a loaner. We were concerned with the symptoms of the failure but Sarah assured us she will have the techs diagnosed the issue and let us know what the findings are. Ultimately the repairs warranted corporate Honda to be involved which resulted in the repairs being honored by Honda corporate to cover the repairs with a reasonable deductable on our end. Needless to say Sarah is the most capable service advisor I had the pleasure of interacting with all the dealerships I have experienced in past. She handled our case with the upmost detail and informing us the status the entire time. Automotive dealership services often get a bad rep for the way a dealership is managed but with genuine customer focused staff such as Sarah and Service manager Jose it makes a big difference and victory Honda Morgan Hill gets it right. Sal doesn't answer, but sends him a text of "I'll call you back" Well...it's been 3 months and we haven't heard a thing since. I used to think it is important to buy a car from the dealer where you want the after service. It does not matter, unless I guess you buy a ferarri. The sales team of a dealer are fine people but they could care less about the after service and you are still just one ant in a million when you need to get your car fixed. Assuming that, then you want a painless, drama-less service. Paying Hammer Auto a fee is totally worth it. Based on a recommendation from a "tech titan" that I thought was savvy, I tried a service that starts with C*** and means "smart" and then they seemed to offer the same service, similar fees. But it was total bait and switch, just trying to tell you 100000 reasons why it can't happen, which I could pay myself a fee to do that. The point is to reduce the drama and making car buying just a practical endeavor. I feel this way because even though I have purchased multiple vehicles from Hammer Auto, I also have purchased three Teslas in succession and know how "good" it can be from direct car purchases. Who wants to sit in the "credit office" of some dealer with some person who has a wierd dot-matrix printer from the 1980s and wants to sell you a lo-jack or clear coat protection or wheel protectant? Jim is easy to talk to, down to earth, not pushy, and he went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable about the car. We drove up to Morgan Hill and meet him in the early morning.
