Keep in mind moving the car blocked in myself and also prevented anyone else from entering the lot so he was not only blocking me from leaving but also others from coming in. Extremely unprofessional behavior and I wouldn't trust someone who acts like that to sell me a car. They should post signage indicating that you are not allowed to park there because if there was anything indicating such I would have not parked there. Their lot isn't very bright and even with a flashlight we missed it until we got it home the next day. But that was nothing compared to the major problem of selling us a lemon. This place is the bane of my existence. Also the guy who sets up loans is a sexist ***. I truly hate this place for scamming us.

Within the first five (5) days of her taking possession of the vehicle, multiple material issues arose, including a non-functioning blinker and several dashboard warning lights illuminating. These defects raise serious concerns about the condition of the vehicle at the time of sale and whether it was properly inspected or disclosed. The vehicle was also sold to her at a price significantly above market value, particularly given its high milage and the immediate mechanical concerns. When she contacted Salinas Auto Sales, she was initially told to bring in the vehicle in for a "recall". After independently verifying her VIN, there was no recall associated with the vehicle. She was then given a different explanation-that the issue was related to an out-of-state title transfer-which is inconsistent with the vehicles recent California registration history (2025). At this point, she asked what the options were for all these concerns to be addressed. In addition to these concerns, there were discrepancies in the sales documentation. Her trade-in was not initially reflected on the contract, and the purchase of the warranty was not properly documented at the time of signing. I had to tell her to go back and have the contract revised and resigned to be valid. I also told her to get a copy of her warranty documents which they originally did not present to her. These omissions are significant and should have been clearly and accurately disclosed. When she attempted to ask reasonable follow-up questions and seek clarification, the owner became rude and dismissive. She also experienced comments that she perceived as degrading and inappropriate, including statements implying that she was only sold the vehicle because of who she was accompanied by at the time of purchase. This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. Overall, she did not experience transparency, accuracy, or a good-faith effort to resolve legitimate concerns after the sale. Based on her experience, she questions the dealerships sales practice, documentation accuracy and customer service. I strongly encourage prospective buyers to independently verify vehicle condition, pricing, VIN history, and all contract terms before completing a purchase with them. As a result, we are currently reviewing her consumer protection rights related to this transaction and will be filing a formal complaint to the California DMV Investigations unit.

KEEP IN MIND: it had a "safety ok" sticker on the windshield, meaning they did a full safety inspection, as they should selling used cars. Literally two days after I brought my car home, the brakes were squeaking to a point of making my ears bleed. Not a little bit while I held the brake, it was until the car was fully stopped. People stared at me and covered their ears because of how bad the noise was. I didn't feel safe enough driving it back to Gilroy (2 hours away) to have them fixed, so I had to pay almost $1,000 out of pocket, JUST TO FIND OUT THE AXEL BOOTS ARE TORN AND NEED TO BE REPLACED TOO, ON TOP OF AN ENTIRE LIST OF THINGS which is just shy of $3,800 to fix. Half of these issues are part of the safety inspection they supposedly perform, which I was clearly lied to about. I was told there's no way this would've been missed, but somehow mine was? They did reimburse me for the brakes after over a month, but now there's a whole other list of things that they refuse to help me with. The only option they gave me to resolve this issue is by spending MORE money and paying THEM more for a "new car" from them, which one, I don't trust their cars in any way shape or form; two, I can't afford a more expensive car, which is all they have; and three, they just want more money out of ME. They absolutely lie about the inspections they do there. I'm seeing issue after issue. Now onto management. It has been the biggest hassle I've ever had to deal with while buying a car to get ahold of literally anyone. Jose is the sales manager I dealt with. He has practically ghosted me in the middle of trying to fix the issues I've had. I have had to SPAM call and text him and the dealership, which barely helps anything. Then I got involved with someone named Joey because Jose got tired of hearing about it I guess but yet, I haven't gotten anywhere with this situation. Everyone I've spoken to has been clueless. This dealership is money hungry, and they don't care about their customers. They see them as numbers and refuse to help with the cars they refused to fix in the first place. Clearly showed that I was a referral prior to purchasing the car and that I tried to use the link. Even through the in-app chat they said I would receive it but in store they were either incompetent or unable to make the referral happen. $500+ worth of lost discounts here that I rightfully qualified for. 2.) zero flexibility on college student discount. I have proof of being a college student. Nonetheless they were unable to apply $1k discount as stated in their website. Now we're at $1.5k worth in losses. 3.) car came with a unremovable scuff on the driver seat. Tesla service later replaced the seat at no cost to me but this took an entire day of mine and about a month of having this scuff to resolve. When purchasing a brand new vehicle this just doesn't make sense to me. I feel like purchasing a car is one of the magical life milestones that should be exciting and perfect. Instead it felt frustrating and that things could've been taken care of better on Tesla's sales side.

Would not recommend going here, you're better off with a private seller or real dealership.
