Worst case of food Poisoning in my life - 4 days later (ate there Friday 5/16/25 - brought 6 friends) and still suffering from a bad Carbonara which I left more than half on table. I paid for it and left in a hurry to see a play across the street. Spent the time at the play in pain. That night and since that time I still have chills, headache, cold sweats, diarrhea, and nausea, along with severe abdominal pain. I am an emergency Nurse and know a thing or two about food poisoning. I even called the next day to report it but was told no one was available and would call me back. Still no call back as promised. This was my favorite place and have been coming there from Rochester just to eat the Carbonara which was my favorite dish. I KNEW It did not look, or taste right, and even asked if they had a new chef back there but was told it was not a new chef. Entire preparation was different this time, the sauce was separating, huge uncut chunks of prosciutto, too yellow, and almost looked grainy versus smooth. I would still like to hear from someone there with an explanation why no one called me back. Maybe the department of health needs a call.

I thought the pizza here was pretty good! The service was okay and the patio was nice. The interior desperately needs a renovation it's very 80s in a bad way but everybody was very friendly and helpful. It didn't feel like the cleanest place in the world just kind of run down but it was nice seeing the pizzas made fresh on their outdoor oven.

Was really excited to try this place out when a friend suggested we meet here for drinks (and dinner as we are amid the corona virus and NYS has a requirement for ordering food, not just drinks), however the service was probably the slowest I have ever experienced and that definitely dampened the experience. So let's start with the good. The place is really nice, the inside is redone, modern and chic. Nice bar area, shuffleboard table, string lights. They also have a large patio, and another area with lots of the sort of garage doors that can be opened to make it an extension patio. The food was also pretty good. We each ordered one of their specialty pizzas. They run a special on Tuesdays where if you order a pizza you get a free cheese and pepperoni pizza (1 per table) so the only food we ordered was the 3 pizzas. Now I did not look at the time when we ordered, however I do know we were both seated by 5:55 PM, and the beginning of our night the service was running as expected, so we must have ordered by 6:15 PM at the very latest, likely earlier. When our 3 pizzas finally came to our table I did check my phone and it was 7:44 PM! 1.5 hours for pizza! Now I try to be understanding and reasonable but that is an excessive time and my biggest frustration was that they weren't even proactive about it. Our waitress only came over 1 time during that time to fill our drinks and she did say sorry for the wait but a lot of pizzas were ordered and they have a small brick oven that only fits 2 pizzas in at a time, but our food would be out any minute. That was around 7 PM. This wasn't the first week of the promotion, so I don't know if it was just a bad night? Someone called off? They aren't able to handle the promotion? A pizza oven that only fits 2 doesn't seem like a good plan. In the future it would probably make customers less frustrated if they were upfront and if a manager or the waitress came over and explained what was going on, or at least said something about it. There were only 5 tables with people inside where we sat and many were speaking up to each other about the long wait. When I left and walked by the patio I heard the exact same complaints and frustrations. So I do feel bad if they were just having a tough night for some reason but being proactive could've helped the frustration. When the food finally did come out, there were no plates, napkins or silverware for us to even get started eating with. My friend had kids to get back home to so she asked for the check and boxes. The bill came and they hadn't done or said anything more to apologize for the long wait. I'm not one who likes to ask or to complain about things, and again I did get my food eventually and it was decently good. I had a good time with a friend and my pomegranate sangria was yummy so I hate to complain or be grumpy but after such a crazy long wait with no explanations I feel like I would have a hard time coming back here anytime soon.

Went here the other day. The ambience was very nice! They are doing a very good job having outdoor seating and with masks, etc., due to Covid. The margherita pizza was very tasty and came out relatively quickly. The basil flavor was strong, and the slices were delectably thin. The beer selection was quite vast; I had an IPA from a little village in Wilson NY that I was unaware existed!

Wow what an upscale place. Jolynn our waitress ....Amazing!!! The food is great, the atmosphere is great, the Italian Manhattan. I had Gnocchi very good but the Carbonnara OMG was that fabulous. The Sangria is better than. Any I have ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. I'll be back!!!

The 3 ladies at the check-in desk didn't communicate well - they were pretty inefficient at checking reservations and seating people. There was a line and people without a reservation got seated before people that were there for an anniversary, very chaotic. Once seated all went smoothly. We ordered salads with dinner as there were no a la carte vegetable options. Entrees are served with a vegetable medley of squash but they were very overcooked & mushy so I'm glad we had salad. The rolls were delicious as were our dinners. The art on the wall at our table had noticeable food splatters on it, not sure how long they have been there, but not appetizing to look at. Overall a good meal and we got free play for the casino. We'll be back!

When we walked in, another customer was raving about the food and telling us how much we'd enjoy it, which honestly made me feel a lot better about trying somewhere new in an unfamiliar area. The vibe is like a bar turned restaurant, dark and a little moody but not off-putting. My mom even got a cutesy leprechaun margarita, which made her smile. We started with 10 mild wings for the table, my sister got a Caesar salad and said the dressing tasted homemade, and this is where I tried French onion soup for the first time. It was okay, just really salty. My mom ended up finishing it, but I did like that the cheese layer wasn't too heavy. I'm still on the hunt for a French onion that really does it for me. I didn't get pictures of the mains, but my mom and I both got steak, I had mashed potatoes and she got a baked potato. My sister got the fettuccine alfredo and marveled at the flavor. She kept saying you can tell it's a local spot and not a chain just by the care put into it. My steak was good, nothing crazy but you really can't go wrong. The mashed potatoes were a little bland but still edible. My mom loved her meal and finished everything, while my sister and I both had leftovers. The only downside was the service. Our waitress wasn't very friendly, kind of impatient and a little passive aggressive, like we were bothering her just by being there. Given the lack of diversity in the area, it didn't completely surprise me, but it was still noticeable. We didn't let it ruin the night though. Overall we still enjoyed it and I'd go back if I'm ever in Batavia again. Reasonable prices, solid food. Taking everything into account, I'd give it a 6.9/10.

He was a professional restaurateur who was paid to sit with celebrities at the posh places he worked in South Florida in the 70s. Whatever else is said, the man had high standards in food and dining experience. When he opened, and for years after the place was always packed and very popular. The food was high quality and your meal came with 2 sides, salad, hot bread and nice presentation at a reasonable price. Alex left the business several years ago and the current owner has run it for some time. Today was my first time back in several years. The outside looks dated and needs a refresh. I almost thought it was closed. It was 2:30pm on Saturday before Mother's Day and almost empty. I don't recall it ever not being full of people waiting at the bar for a table. Until today. The decor is ok although I don't care for the fringe lamps directly over your head. I was going to get ribs but decided on 10 oz prime rib ($32.00) comes with 1 side (I chose baked potato - only sour cream and butter is offered). No salad unless you pay extra! The warm bread was fine with two kinds of butter. My companion had the Kids spaghetti $(8.99). My prime rib came out and it looked about half the normal thickness it should be and in a puddle of juice. Even the server commented about why the kitchen did that. And it was warm, at best. No horseradish or other condiments were offered. No garnish on the plate. Just a thin slab of meat. The juice should have been in a separate cup. But the small baked potato was steaming hot! My companion had a giant pile of spaghetti with about a 1/4 cup of sauce on top! Too little for the mound of spaghetti. And it looked like cheap jar sauce and no meatballs. She didn't mind but I wasn't thrilled. And her fountain drink did not come with the meal ($3.99)! I had a lavender lemon drop martini that was ok. ($10). Ultimately the food is mediocre and it feels like they are cutting corners to keep prices down. But that means it's no longer the special place it used to be. Sad.

If you're looking for the quintessential sports bar experience, Tully's hits the nail on the head…read more In a smaller town setting, it's more than just a place to grab a beer; it's the local heartbeat, especially on game days. The atmosphere is high-energy, packed with screens, and carries that welcoming, "everyone's a regular" vibe that chain restaurants in big cities usually fail to replicate. The Menu: Something for Everyone One of Tully's biggest strengths is its massive variety. Whether you're with a group of picky eaters or a crowd with wildly different cravings, the menu is built for it. They cover the full spectrum of comfort food--from hearty burgers and fresh salads to pastas and steaks. The drink list is equally robust, offering everything from ice-cold domestic drafts to creative cocktails that pair perfectly with a loud afternoon of football. The Stars of the Show: Asian Chicken Tenders You can't talk about Tully's without mentioning the tenders. While they are famous for their original recipe, the custom Asian chicken tenders are a total game-changer. They strike that elusive balance of a crispy, hand-breaded exterior tossed in a sauce that delivers a sophisticated sweet-and-spicy kick. It's a flavor profile that keeps you coming back for "just one more" until the basket is empty. Don't Skip Dessert While many sports bars treat dessert as an afterthought, Tully's treats it like a main event. They are legendary for two specific treats: * Homemade Cheesecake: It's rich, creamy, and clearly made in-house with a level of density you usually only find in high-end bakeries. * Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie: This is a decadent masterpiece. It's the perfect end for anyone who loves that classic salty-sweet combo, featuring a silky texture that melts instantly. The Verdict: Tully's proves that you don't need to be in a major metro area to find top-tier bar food. With its massive portions, "Best in Show" tenders, and a dessert menu that rivals a pastry shop, it remains the gold standard for small-town sports dining. Would you like me to help you find the closest Tully's location or look up their current seasonal drink specials?
