Staying in Batavia at a hotel with a late check in pizza was the fastest option. The front desk recommended Ficarella's. I was pleased to see they offered gluten free and cauliflower crust options. Well I have no pictures even tho in our 4 days in town we have ordered here twice lol. The wings are our #1 in town with cattlemen gold sauce, the blueberry BBQ is delicious with a change of pace, country sweet, sweet baby rays and reg bbq are all good as well. Figarella is the Italian version of Barbarella. Instead of having Jane Fonda get naked in a spaceship, they have her writhing around in a tub of figs. It's every Sicilians dream come true, really, isn't it. If you know any Sicilians you know what I mean. Mi scusi. I wasn't a fan of the pizza here. I had it just after Mark's and Main St Pizza, and those were good, and amazing, respectively. This one wasn't even average... it was lacking something and also tasted very old, like it had been sitting around all day. Maybe they weren't so busy so they didn't make pies on a regular basis. It also had the kind of pepperoni I'm not crazy about (more like salami) and was a little sloppy. There is another one out in LeRoy, I have heard. I wish nothing but the best for both places. I'll go back sometime and try something fresh, hopefully. But certainly this slice did nothing for me, although I'll give a solid 3 stars to support a family business. I'd rather eat 1 slice from here than 1,000 free pizzas from Pizza Hut all year long. read more

I like that you can buy by the slice! Great place for a quick lunch. Even though the pizza is in a warmer, ask them to warm it up for you. Typically luke warm when the give it to you. Staff and management is friendly and helpful! Pizza is good! Much prefer their pizza over some others in the area. read more

I recently moved back to Batavia after being away for many years. Many friends suggested Ficarella's when I asked about local pizza places. I have ordered from them several times since being here. All delivery. I found all their delivery people to be friendly and prompt. After trying several menu items, all good, I have decided that the pizza is my favorite. Love the taste, the toppings. Chicken fingers tasted like vegetable oil and were cold, fries were soggy, was told it's from the warming bag..... calzone breading was soggy, again told it was the warming bag .. I called complained to so called manager he said he would replace the food, then 10 mins later another guy called claiming the chicken fingers were going to taste the same because of the warming bag.... So got a new calzone delivered an hour later but no chicken fingers no offer for money back Nothing .... So my family got to eat while I went hungry... The order was wrong (girl who took the call had zero clue about the menu), the wings were undercooked and had a mealy texture to them but the worse part was...my daughter found a human hair in her pizza sauce. This place sells your average pizza pie. It's delicious and hot and fresh and cheap and everything you need in a slice. Nothing fancy, just good pizza. They serve slices in a "slice bag" that conveniently absorbs most of the grease off the top. read more

I ordered 6 garlic parm wings and a 10" white pizza. The wings were some of the best I have had. Crisp skin coated with a musky parmesan, served with a warm butter garlic sauce. Delivered piping hot to a hotel room, impressive. The pizza was a terrific crust, and wonderful mozzarella with garlic mixed in. All in all, I look forward to my next visit to Batavia, and Ficarellas. read more

ficarellas pizzeria was my go to place for wings not after tonight the costumer service I just received was terrible my chicken was over an hour and in 30 minutes late before I called and was told they couldn't find my apartment and my phone number wasn't working which was the same number I had just called them on they let me know that the chicken would be to my house shortly when the chicken got here it was the same old chicken from an hour and 30 minutes ago that they had delivered to the wrong place they refuse to give me a discount and told me it was my fault that they could not reach my phone or find my apartment and told me I can wait another hour or so for them to make some fresh ones set now I have ordered wings from a different pizzeria which told me you'll only be about 30 minutes read more

Let me tell you a sad story. So I ordered the best chicken wang pizza EVER and 5 blue cheese (the pizza comes with three so we paid for two extra). The total came up to $25.49. It took two hours for the pizza to get there and when it did, we gave Pizza Dude a $5.00 tip. Very generous, right? HOWEVER, there was no blue cheese. This wouldn't be a problem if we ordered any other pizza except the chicken wang one. It was SPICY dude. Anyways, we called and complained and they said they'd send someone over right away with our blue cheese. Cool, awesome, great. We waited an hour for the blue cheese. So now our pizza is cold and we are sad and hungry because one does not simply eat chicken wang pizza without blue cheese. So we called again. During this call, we spoke to a manager. He was REALLY RUDE and had an ATTITUDE. Wish I remembered his name. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE but their PIZZA IS DELICIOUS. I don't know. My friends and I will probably never order from this place ever again. Careful when ordering food for delivery from this place. As a long time customer that always raved about how good the food was to friends, one day I had a salami sub delivered late one night. The sub was *off* - probably the salami was starting to go rancid and I called the next day when they opened. I was given the runaround and finally told nothing was going to be done because the owner believed I was trying to scam them. I'm a 50+ yr old disabled lady and was totally offended. Took my business elsewhere from then on & quite a few of my friends did as well. I make sure I let newcomers to the area know to stay away from there less they are they are called liars. We were trying to mix up our weekly Friday pizza order by ordering from Ficarellas. This pizza was ok not as good as others in town. I also ordered a Greek salad and found out they do not have Greek dressing to accompany it. I was sadly disappointed, but was able to make a quick dressing when I got home.
