I've dined in some of the finest restaurants in the country on a company expense account entertaining clients. The best steak I have ever had anywhere. read more

Food was mediocre. Service was spotty, followed by the owner doing allot of yelling at his staff. The place was really dark and dirty, my family did not enjoy our visit and won't go back. read more

Glad we went here! BEST Steak I've had in a restaurant yet! Cooked to perfection, the exact way I asked for it. Decor is a tad outdated, but the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Large servings. I had the 16oz filet and fries with a salad and couldn't finish my food. Hubby had a t-bone and it was on a plate all by it's own and nearly too big for the plate. He babbled thru the whole dinner about how awesome it was! LOL! Definitely a place to go to again if we visit. There was a large group of about 25 people and all of their food was served at one time, which is a chore in any restaurant. We were surprised how 'together' they were with the service. Very attentive servers. Well worth the trip!! Loved the way the dining room space was broken up with hutches and display cases. read more

I had the worst dining experience of my life at Romagnali's. Although the food is good, the owner is the most belligerent, obnoxious and nasty individual I have ever encountered in the food service industry. 5 of us went out to eat, my husband and teenage son, plus a friend and his teenage son. We went all out to order a nice meal. I was not particularly hungry, and ordered a dinner salad. When my husbands meal came, I asked to take a taste. I did not even get the fork to my mouth, when the owner came running over to the table confronting me, saying I did not pay for an extra plate and could not touch the food. I have never been so humiliated or felt so threatened. I went to talk to him and he proceeded to yell at me in front of the entire restaurant, saying how I was cheating him. At that point I returned to my seat and requested a check. My bill was over $100 before the tip. I left a 35% tip because I felt so sorry for the waitress. I can't imagine working for such a miserable human being. The next day, multiple friends shared that they had experienced similar abuse from this business owner. read more

Me and my family of 18 went to Romignoli we had just come from my grandpas funeral. We sit down and order some wine and drinks it took a while for the waitress to come and take our order but we were not in a rush to eat. Finally she came over and took our order. I was the first to go and asked for the fettuccine with shrimp and said I was sharing with my mom because there portions are huge! Right away the waitress said there was no sharing and said she would get the owner. He came over and we told him that only a couple people were sharing and we came from a funeral lunch-in and right away he was extremely rude! Saying "he's not feeding two people for the price of one" and "if you're not ordering a plate of food why are you here?" immediately we were turned off to eating here and decided to leave with out ordering. Before we left my aunt talked to him aside not to mention with a baby in her arm and said "sorry if you felt like we were ripping you off ect." And he interrupted her and said " go to an all you can eat buffet if you're not ordering dinner then just leave." Out of all the family owned restaurants I've been to I've never had someone treat my family so unacceptably rude. I also have never written a review before but I downloaded this app just to warm people who are considering eating here about how awful, rude, and unaccommodating he was to us. Will never step foot in this restaurant again. read more

Horrible service. To be honest I don't even know how this place is still up and running. definitely not kid friendly. My husband and I, our two kids along with my brother and sister in law with their two kids finally decided to try Romagnoli's out. Family Dining? Is that a joke? When we first arrived, we had asked for a high chair to set a car seat in, when the waitress brought the highchair over she set it down, wiggled it, observing that the leg is broken, said there you go and walked away. Did she really expect us to put a 5 month old baby in a highchair that's about to fall over? We decided to place her on the floor instead. Why do they even have that there to use, should of been throw away a long time ago. We asked for a kids menu, No kids menu. My 2 kids had to share a 15 dollar entrée that was enough to feed 3 very hungry kids. Waitress seemed bothered by our attendance, well actually all 3 waitresses seemed bothered. We didn't even know who our waitress was, we were waited on by 3. We had 2 separate checks, the first lady that we told that too wrote our names on each check, then another waitress came back 5 minutes later and asked the same thing. , We were never told any specials, it wasn't until I went to the bathroom, after we ordered that I seen the special sign. Everyone there was very inattentive. We felt unwelcomed. I had ordered gnocchi's -Don't do it!! long tubes of something that didn't taste like Gnocchi's. My 3 year old could probably do better. The "red sauce" Is a joke. The salad comes directly from a bag. You think they could at least shred some carrots or add a few olives. After waiting and waiting for a waitress to come ask us if we would like refills we had to go to the bar to ask for a coke. Horrible food for the high price, for the price we paid they should be able to sharpen the knife you get to cut the loaf of hard bread you get. They should be able to afford to turn the heat up too. Long story short - Keep driving. Olive garden is just under a hour and a half away and way worth the drive compared to going here. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Not worth it. Started with a long wait to even find out the availability. We added our name to the list and were told 30-45 min to be seated. Drinks in the bar were very good. We asked the hostess for menus and she was very hesitant to give them to us.. Kind of weird. Then I went up to who I believe is the owner (after another long time customer explained the 'service' is not usually like this and pointed out a man and explained he was the owner) Dwight to ask if there was anything on their menu that was gluten free, and was rudely told no absolutely not.. Nothing. They would not tell me why. We decided to stay as my family is now starving. Ordered food while sitting at the bar and then were seared about an hour wait. The place was busy but still empty tables. I have no idea who our waitress was as no one came to our table. We just kept stopping whoever to get what we needed. The food came 45 min after seated! And the worse part was after we finished eating it took us 30 minutes to flag a waitress to pay our bill. Food was ok but not as good as TNT steakhouse in Kingsford. We will not be back nor refer to others. read more
