Went there for lunch and got the French onion soup. Mind you this is the only thing I ate all day. Well about an hour after I got horrible cramps and had to crap my brains out. I make French onion soup and judge restaurants by their French onion soup. The soup wasn't half bad but that's it. Don't even bother throwing a lawn dart up in the air and closing your eyes. Your chances of getting sick are higher than your chances of getting hit. Coming from a Sous chef myself they didn't chill the soup down or store it correctly. This is one of the best sports bars in the area. I have been to Solberg's Greenleaf several times. I have had good food during each visit and they usually have a good beer selection. I stopped in yesterday for dinner and they had their fish fry. I went with a combo which had cod and perch. Both were very good. The beer selection was not as good as previous visits but they still had a better selection than most of the local bars. Friendly service and plenty of parking. read more

Ho. Lee. Cow! We stopped in for dinner, expecting to get burgers, and were surprised to see that they offered a Friday fish fry! There were several options to choose from, but hubs and I both chose the combo, which was cod and perch. It came with tartar sauce, slaw, a slice of rye bread, baked bean medley, and your choice of potato. We went with fries. We both got beer cheese, and I got ranch as well (extra charge for both). I went with a coke and then a Dr. Pepper, as I needed the caffeine pick-me-up, and hubs started with a beer flight, and then had a pint. The fish was cooked perfectly. The breading was that golden, bubbly cover, versus typical breading. We were both given three pieces of each. The tartar sauce was very tangy, and I had to go easy with it. Hubs ate the slaw, and the rye bread was nothing special. The fries were spot on....somewhere between a straight cut and a steak fry, they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ranch was delicious, and the beer cheese was a bit strong, but in a good way, with a slight beer aftertaste. Neither of us could finish it all, so we left with a container of leftovers. Wings were massive and reasonably priced. I had the buffalo bone in broasted. They were very busy and the bartender was very friendly and attentive considering how slammed she was. 18$ for a burger. The most expensive place for a burger in the county I believe. I've had better Burgers for 8$. Friendly service. Host tried to seat at a high top with a 5 year old when they just opened and many booths open. I understand trying to split up for servers but not when there are small children. I like the ambience and the beer selections at this place. What I did not like was the food because it is all processed food previously frozen and primarily fried. I had the shrimp basket one one visit and found that it was processed shrimp that were all breading and no meat. Last night was our first time here and we were overall impressed and highly satisfied! The place itself looks small from the outside but offers a ton of seat when you get in the door. You have to wait to be seated. But the wait staff is super friendly and super helpful. They have daily specials and a huge menu. The menu has several different food options, like burgers, handhelds, noodles, Mexican, etc. There is also a large list of different beers and drinks they offer. As far as the food taste, it's awesome! I had the loaded Mac and cheese which was definitely loaded and delicious! My fiancé had the bacon pepper jack burger which he said was one of the best burgers he has had. Plus the fries came in the cutest little basket. Cons: They aren't giving the food and drink away and that insulting "Extra Service Charge" on your bill (when you pay with a credit card) is a negative to servers who end up paying it... at least for me.
