On my return a year later to the UP I stopped in and had the worst experience food was nothing like I remember we ordered 2 steak dinners the green beans was cold no seasoning our steaks both well done we both asked for medium rare. Asked for well done wings so they wasn't soggy an got regular length cooked wings soggy an chewy! Best part was the kids popcorn chicken an fries unfortunately.not to mention I didn't receive a drink through half of my meal my waitress was too busy discussing another problem behind me with the hostess! Very disappointing when I seen on my bill that I ordered a mix drink and was charged $.50 for cranberry juice. Plus for a margarita $14.00 REALLY!!!! Everything on the menu has extremely gone up in price. I don't recommend this bar and grill to NO ONE!!!!! The food is not that good. read more

Always a good meal here. Never had bad service. The ambiance is comfortable. Fish fry is very good as well as the breasted chicken. We love all you can eat wing night and usually frequent every Monday. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. read more

Kind of bummed that they discontinued one of the only vegan option I really ever had coming to Iron Mountain. I had to just eat tater tots for lunch since there isn't much else to make a meal out of on the menu. My boyfriend, who is a meat-eater did just fine though. read more

Rude service and I was warned about how the servers and bartenders behavior beforehand but gave it a try and cancelled my order within minutes of interacting with them. Online menu does not consist of the dine in menus and they charge you full price online for items you only get included in your meal if you dine in. They are ripping their customers off BIG TIME! Plus the restaurant smells like stale cigarette smoke and stale beer ...like they haven't fixed up the restaurant since the beginning of time when you could smoke in bars!!!!!! This place wins. My bartender was Sophie and she was a doll. Bright open space, plenty of TVs and all the sports packages do you can see whatever you want. And the staff knows how to change the channels without a blank look and having to call the manager. Chicken wings were great -"dusted". Very very lightly breaded so they had a little crunch without getting soggy. Not the cheapest place around - wings are $2 apiece and most burgers and samiches over $10, but good food. The bathrooms are kind of a mess, but no matter. A solid experience. If I lived within 20 miles I'd be there 4x per week. read more

I didnt want to write a poor review but the customer service was horrible. I ordered takeout for 4 people. After I picked it up and got home found out one of the orders was missing. I called the restaurant and the girl that answered was very abrupt, didnt apologize, and said there is nothing they could do unless I came back to pick up the order. I asked for a manager and she said there was nobody there. I was the one to even press her to credit me for the order. She said she would. I asked could she give me confirmation when it was credited and she said she would have the manager call me when they came in. 2 days later and no call. Stopped at Solbergs for lunch before our tee time at Timberstone. They have a large menu and very friendly wait staff, Erin our waitress was great! The owner even stopped by our table to say hi. We stayed over in Iron Mountain and had dinner there recently on a Friday night. Hats off to them in how they are handling COVID-19. Tables spaced apart, servers wearing masks, and sanitizing stations strategically placed near the entrance. As described in other reviews, Greenleaf as a solid tap list of Michigan beers and the servers are extremely friendly and good with suggestions. The food was solid and what you would expect from a sports bar. Special call out to the grilled cheese cheeseburger-while it was definitely rich, it wasn't an over the top cheese bomb that I worried it would be. One brings it down a star, however, is the extreme loudness and unnecessary bass of their sound system. Maybe when sports are on and a full capacity it would make sense but it was hard to carry on a conversation over the din of whatever trash music was playing. Would I come watch a game here and grab some beer and food-yes. Would I return for a family dinner-I would look for other options. read more

Broasted chicken was really good. Cheese curds are great. However, the chicken and shrimp my girlfriend got was very small and very expensive. I'm pretty sure my girlfriend's chicken was frozen but I can't confirm. My girlfriend's mother's steak was small for twenty some dollars although it did look like it was cooked correctly. Service was great, but unless you are looking to spend a lot of money for small portions and soso food, this isn't the place for you. read more
