We came from Felch Michigan and had a very good home style lunch. We live in Florida but when we visit my husbands father up in the UP, we always like to have a meal at the Red Brick. The hot roast beef sandwich is large and tasty. We ordered it with extra gravy and they split if for us and were very generous with the mashed potatoes. All was quite tasty. We had been here in late January with the entire family on late evening and it was after coming back from the hospital after my husbands mother had died. There were 10 of us and it was very close to closing time. They stayed open and fed us and were very kind and patient. So thank you to the staff and the chef. You guys were amazing! read more

Took and hour in 30 minutes for our food to come out when there was one other table in there. The steak came out cold and not cooked how it was asked. I ordered and 16 oz got a 12oz and was charged for a 16oz. When I informed my waiter she told me she'd see what they can do. The manger took 5 cents off my bill. The pizza showed in pictures is nothing like the pizza you actually receive. Bathrooms were run done and dirty. An over all terrible experience. I would not recommend. read more

The food was excellent. But the service was not up to par. I dont think it's the bartenders fault that she had to serve tables in addition to the bar that was full. The food is great ! Salad bar awesome. The wait staff is made up of pretty, local girls, so sweet you may not need dessert, but don't miss it. My husband and I had the ribs a full rack and a 12 oz tenderloin all with sides. The food was incredibly good it was exactly what I was looking for. The taste was there the texture was there the tenderness of the ribs was there the tenderness of the steak was there. The only complaint that I have is when online ordering make more sides available per meal more than just one side. Because they're portions for their sides are okay, but we also didn't receive everything. But overall, I would still give them four stars because their food tasted great and they did have it ready on time. Furthermore, excellent job red brick in staff! Well, put one star because they comp'd the salad bar and drinks...but WTH Red Brick! We sat down, ordered, got salads and drinks then we waited. And waited, watching three tables who were seated after us get their food ... and we still waited (2 orders of wings and a chicken sandwich and fish sandwich). We came for the all you can eat wings and salad bar special. Service was terrible and we were the only people in there at the time- so it wasn't a lack of staff. Salad bar was warm and everything needed to be stocked. Soup was ok. Wings were cold by the time they got to the table. Hardly any sauce and meat was extremely poor quality. Nathan was my waiter. Very friendly and prompt. I ordered the full rack of ribs with soup and salad bar. The hamburger soup is very popular and needed a refill ... I can see why - it was amazing. Good salad bar options - not crazy, but everything you need - and fresh. The ribs were slow cooked and fall off the bone good. They put a little more sauce on than I like - but tasted good. I highly recommend steering clear of this place. We tried the breakfast buffet a few months ago and it wasnt bad. We went back for wing night and were absolutely robbed! Took over an hour for our wing order to come out (6 wings). Also put in a re order immediately so we wouldn't have to wait. The waitresses just kept telling the entire restaurant that they had some big call in orders. wouldn't you take care of the people that came in to eat? Not this place. Two hours into this ordeal we were still sitting there hungry with all of us still only getting 6 wings each. The entire restaurant was waiting for wings with no sign of any coming out. Everyone was joking about them probably needing help plucking the birds in the kitchen. I messaged the restaurant with no response and was told the new owner doesn't care anyway. I ordered two fish fries to go. Got there and they had given my order to someone else. Had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get my order. Came home, all I got was fish and French fries. Nothing else. No coleslaw, no bread. I called to find out what came with fish fries and was told I should've had coleslaw. The person on the phone said "sorry." Not, well if you want to stop in and pick it up that's fine, or we will give you a couple bucks off your next meal, just "sorry." Then dead silence, she said absolutely nothing else. I definitely would not recommend eating here. Service is fine. However, be very aware of what you are eating. When ordering Lake Perch, a customer should be served Lake Perch. I pass this place driving from Chicago to Marquette all the time. It is such an interesting building from the outside. Every time I pass though, I am always in too much of a hurry to get where I am going and not that interested in prolonging my 6 1/2 hours on the road any more than I have to so I have never made the time for it. On my leisurely trip back home this month though, I found myself passing through Niagra around lunch time and I saw the sign for pasties so I made an exception. Upon my approach I noticed a cozy deck with couches and swings. A perfect place for a warm summer evening to sip a brew and chat with friends. As I came in the front door I saw two employees, neither of which looked happy to see me. Surprising, because I was one of five people in the whole building. I sat and ordered a pasty. The crust had a good taste to it, very buttery, but that's about it. I would have been much more satisfied on the other side of the state going through Menominee at Colonel K's. Anyway, it was a dismal, sad place, fitting for the couple gambling at the electronic slots inside. Maybe it is jumpin' on a weekend night, but lunchtime on a Monday was sure not the time. I've been getting great pasties here for years, but last Monday was the first time my husband and I decided to actually come in and eat their Home-made pizza and wing buffet...my husband is crazy for pizza, but me, not so much...that is until I took a bite of hubby's!!! Oh my goodness...seriously? The best pizza on this earth!! It actually tasted like lasagne...I was sorry I had ordered something else... Now I can't wait till next Monday!!! My family eats here regularly. The reason is because the food is delicious. The wait staff is so friendly and the chef eager to please. My favorite menu item is the broasted chicken, which I can never get enough of, and order often. They have a wonderful fish fry, my favorite is the walleye. They also have a nice Sunday brunch. If you haven't tried Jim's Red Brick Inn, you are surely missing out. read more
