    California Cheesesteak
    Eric P.

Roma is a classic pizza joint. They serve Pepsi products, which in itself is just fantastic. Sometimes I lay awake at night thinking about the California cheesesteak sandwich at Roma. The freshly baked roll is sensational. They combine the meat and cheese with pickles, red onion, and lettuce, with hint of mayo. All parts are constructed perfectly. Not too much meat, not too much cheese. It's just right. And the pizza, the pizza is amazing! The family's been making it the same way since the 90's. I ordered a 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 cheese pie. I've been getting that pie for 30 years, and it's perfect. It's got the undercarriage, the crunch and the sauce. So good. Thank you.

This place is a hidden gem! I really enjoyed my plain pizza slices here. Looks like a pretty standard place inside, but they sure know how to make pizza!

Never disappoints. Pizza is amazing (it's the sweet sauce!) but I love their tuna salads as well!

Love the pizza, a sweet sauce. They put garlic powder on their mushrooms for added flavor, yum.

We ordered Brussels sprouts and the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. And for main courses, the "egg, sausage&cheese"breakfast sandwich; and arugula salad. Sprouts were crispy and the pancakes were like having dessert first. The focaccia bread that the sandwich was made with was soft and fresh. Only improvements suggestion, Americano coffee was like warm; it should be served hot. We will return to try other items on the menu.

We went on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30, and the place was already packed! I had not made reservations because of the early hour on a mid-week evening; the maitre kindly fit us in. The place is lovely and the atmosphere very pleasant. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive... then came our first disappointment: no squash blossoms available, and our server warned us that there were other things not available, including some wines, because they were about to switch to a new menu... hmm, ok. So for first course we had the lamb skewers and the evening's special of toasted bread with red peppers and white anchovies. Both selections were fine, but not remarkable. The lamb was very tender though. For the second course we both ordered pasta, one with white rabbit ragú, the other with red lamb ragú. The house-made pasta was good, but the sauces unremarkable. In mine the rabbit was ground up, and really didn't flavor the sauce at all; it was overly creamy, and even extra ground pepper didn't help the flavor. This was really disappointing. Disappointing too was the "average priced " (up to $80) red wine selection -- wines also not available because of the change of menu. We didn't have desert, thought the menu lööked tempting . Good espresso. I was really disappointed, but will try again once the new menu is set, because the atmosphere and the service were really fine. I'm hoping tonight was a fluke.

The English Pub environment induces a relaxing and friendly vibe! The personality of the bartenders is great and friendly! Service is prompt even when it is busy. They have a nice beer selection to hit everyone's tastes. I didn't know until our recent visit that they have an amazing selection of bourbon! I'm not talking about a just a few top shelf labels, but multiple brands to choose from. On this visit I tried their "house" barrel select of the Heaven Hill and it was delicious, smooth and flavorful! The food is delicious. We've sampled their fish and chips (best around), sausage rolls, pretzel braid, and Sheppard's pie. Everything we have ordered has been very flavorful. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was very good and I could have eaten several servings. Overall, the Bulls Head Public House is quintessential smalltown pub, where all are welcome to stay and enjoy themselves.

The mash must have been made with turnip and potato as it was slightly sweet, onion gravy was spot on as were the carrots. The spouse went with the quesadilla. she stated the steak was really good. Ice tea for both of us . unexpectedly water was available for any one from a tap near the doors. Plastic cups, no purchase needed. Great idea! We shall return, nice place and good food is hard get any more. $42.30 plus tip we always tip at 20% ( or the spouse gets testy.) but the server / cleaner didn't get the idea it was for her, I actually had to say " this is a tip, for you! Enjoyable cocktails too (themed around musical artists, for the most part). We mainly ordered individual pizzas at the table - spicy calabrese and truffle mushroom pizzas among them. I tried both and would recommend either. The truffle mushroom pizza wasn't overwhelmed by the truffle oil and was well balanced with herb ricotta and arugula. Comparatively, the hot honey, roasted red peppers, and red onions on the spicy calabrese pizza offered a balance in texture from the crunch of the onions - and just a hint of kick from the hot honey. Delicious. There's a walkway behind the dining area that includes photographs from some of the tours and shows that Rock Lititz has helped with the stage design for, which is also fun to see. I can assume this place can get pretty packed at times, but it was very chill during our visit and I only wish I had been able to go back again for bunch or dinner or something. Maybe on my next visit!
