Christina let us stay the whole time and it only took about an hour! She was patient and kind to our pup who was nervous as it was her first grooming. We had been brushing her but Christina took the time to teach us how to properly comb our little girl and didn't make us feel bad that she did have some knots in her puppy fur. We will be returning to Louie's Bath House to have our pup groomed regularly. If you have a small breed puppy/dog who needs a groomer she is definitely worth it!!

As I mentioned we've been here before and they've never had to that ! They usually only take two hours to groom him that day they took 3 hours to call me to pick him up red flag number TWO! So when I picked him up he was completely shaved down except his head a week later I notice he has a huge scab on his head from a cut which looks like they cut him with the shaver or burned him with the blower and never said anything to me ! Which is very unprofessional because I know my dog moves a lot so the least they could've done was call me! I took my dog to the vet two weeks later because the scab got worse and started to smell. When I took him to the vet the vet tells me he has a hot spot and it was infected!!! The groomers hurt my dog and stayed quiet 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND these people with your dog!!!!

For context, we typically only bring our cats in about once a year when their winter coats begin to shed. Because of this, it's especially important that the grooming is done thoroughly and by someone experienced. We had previously been loyal clients of Kim, who consistently handled our cats with efficiency and care. Grooming is very stressful for them, so finding someone capable and experienced was extremely important to us. With Kim, we could always count on a full, thorough service: bathing, drying, shaving where needed, knot removal, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and sanitary care. That level of care is why we were willing to travel and pay a premium. When we arrived this time, we were surprised to learn the business was under new ownership. We decided to give it a chance. We dropped our cats off at 9:00 AM as the first appointment of the day and were told the process would take approximately 3 hours, which we were completely fine with. Around 11:20 AM, we received a brief call asking if one of our cats should be shaved. We were told they would use their judgment, and that was the only communication we received. By 1:00 PM (now 4 hours later), we returned to check in. What we found was extremely concerning: * One cat had reportedly urinated out of stress and, according to staff, nothing beyond a basic cage bath had been done. * We were also told at that point by Donna that she was uncomfortable handling him and that he would need to be sedated for grooming in the future. This was alarming to hear, as this has never been an issue in the past, he was always successfully groomed by Kim without sedation. * The other cat was still in the process of drying after only being bathed. * Neither cat had received any of the grooming services we came in for (no haircut, no knot removal, no nail trimming, no ear cleaning, etc.). * One of our cats was left drying in a cage next to a continuously barking dog, despite other quieter, more isolated spaces being available. * Both cats were visibly terrified. There had been no proactive communication to inform us of any issues, delays, or inability to complete the grooming. After over four hours, essentially no meaningful grooming had been performed. While Donna was polite, it was clear that she was uncomfortable explaining the situation. Only after we arrived did they begin attempting to brush one of our cats, which raised concerns about whether anything would have been addressed had we not shown up when we did. We ultimately left with two cats who were still matted, unkempt, and significantly more distressed than when we dropped them off. Our main concern is not just that the grooming wasn't completed; it's the lack of communication and the apparent inability to handle cats in a setting that claims to offer those services. Based on this experience, the facility does not appear properly equipped or experienced in feline grooming. We were offered complimentary future services, but unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded our trust. No incentive would make us feel comfortable returning. If you are a cat owner, especially with breeds that require specialized grooming, I would strongly recommend asking detailed questions about experience and process before booking here.

He explained specifically very detailed and provided photo of a similar haircut we had in mind for our pet. we would much rather appreciated to be told it could not be done than completed in a chopped un even way. we requested ears to be cleaned which was not clean. if my husband didn't check they would have not informed us that our dog didn't let them allow to clean his ears. so with the groomers assistance my husband clean his own pets ears. I understand dogs can be nervous or move especially if it's there first time. To help the groomer we advised and allowed them to be firm with our dog or do whatever best to help them to get the results we wanted and so they can have a smooth time haircutting our pet. Our pets is friendly and a puppy. My husband request his beard and chest to not be groomed short. we wanted a standard schnauzer look. the groomer said they were experienced in these types of cuts which clearly that is not the case. his back the line on the sides is un even. his butt is red and looks irritated. His eyebrows one side is longer than the other. A complete mess I am unhappy with the results definitely not returning and do not recommend. Please pay attention to your pets and don't settle if your unhappy. our pet is like our child very dear to us. We paid explained we were not happy and left.

But seeing my dog in excruciating pain And they never mentioned that he would be in pain just that he might be sleepy we called him in 20 minutes after they closed no one call us back for two hours so I'm not inclined to bring my dog back to them and I am a loyal customer but I will not tolerate this kind of lack of professionalism
