I called about 2-3 weeks before I was actually able to bring them in, which is when they had their next available appt. which I definitely understood especially with COV19. They told me they would call me if they had any last minute openings (which they did but each time I was working). I really love how they took their time with my pups and giving them the trim that I asked for yet still being gentle with them. They were very understanding on the fact that they were scared/ nervous since it was their first time being there. They have a few accessories/ supplies for sale as well as some refreshments if you're waiting but I believe that was pre- cov19 LOL. Very good work for their price. They accept cash & cc's and parking was easy and very accessible. I definitely made my next appointment for my boys and recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a great groomers for your pet!

Leaving my annual review update for my favorite groomers/ people!…read more I just can't believe it has been over 10 years since I first brought my rescue Puffy and they so generously groomed her after she was neglected for so long. I still can't believe they took us on a busy Saturday. I still can't believe they were so patient with her. And I still can't believe that I had to fight them to take my money! Having them take care of my own baby who they never made stay in the crate because i spoiled him and so he hated them. And who they opened up early for to do his last grooming before he passed. To now caring for my new baby Barron and he looking like a million bucks every time he leaves! A poodle with parents that don't comb/ brush him as they should... and squeezing us in when they can because busy is not the word! Honey if you groom like they do, care for one's fur baby like they do and are affordable in this day and age of gouging grooming salons - you simply stay busy. As they should! I'm so proud of their growth and the relationships they form with their customers and most importantly their furry clients. I drive over an hour to get to them. And when I travel or they are booked my poor baby has to get Mom's bad in between face cutting BUT I refuse to go anywhere else. Ever. Just not worth it. However, I'm extremely disappointed. The groomer clearly knew my dogs breed (Australian Shepherd), I explained to her that I wanted no leg furnishings and a shorter cut. The only thing I wanted shaved was behind her ears as they get matted fast. I picked her up looking like this. Fully shaved with clippers, her whiskers on the side were cut, and her chest is not blended. She is a double coated dog, not recommended at all to be shaven. I shouldn't have to tell groomers to not put clippers on her. Especially this short. I had no words when I picked her up.

We stumbled upon this place and brought our dog here. When my husband was dropping him off, he was explaining to them what kind of Cut he wanted them to do. He said just a simple trim nothing too short. The woman looked at him and flat out, said "I have no clue what you want", And she called for somebody else to come over and yelled "This guy is asking for something and I don't know what he wants." - In a very rude tone. Mind you, we are brand new customers, this is our first time there. Our dog is a golden retriever and so he's the happiest dog you'll ever meet. Because it was our first time I called an hour later to check up and see what his status was and how he's doing. The woman that worked there (didn't get her name but she was a very tough and rude woman) was very mean as if I was bothering her when I called. I simply was asking for an update to see when my dog would be done, but she was not very polite. After picking him up, we noticed that he was not Himself. He was pulling us to leave. When we brought him home, he was very quiet and not his happy self. A month later we had another appointment booked and as we were walking close to the door We noticed our dog, pulling us the opposite way- He was basically telling us that he did not want to go inside. That was a huge red flag for me. I knew something happened during his first grooming Session And I'm glad we trusted our instinct the second time and didn't go through that door. Unfortunately This is not the first time I've heard of an experience like this from This place. 2 other friends who have dogs stopped going there too because of similar stories. I don't know what happens behind closed doors at Studio Groomers, But all I know is that if they treat humans like myself so mean and rude, then I can't imagine how they treat dogs. I contemplated not writing this because I don't like the thought of taking away someone's…read morelivelihood or hurting a small business but I truly cannot stand the thought of this happening to someone else's baby. We took our dog here randomly because we couldn't get an appointment at our regular before the holidays. I will say I was able to book an appointment quickly and obviously did not read the reviews. I asked for a simple bath, deshedding, and the usual ear cleaning. We have a mix with medium hair, not a malamute but not a pitty length. He was not matted, not was he shedding anymore than normal (not clumpy or undercoat). He has a gorgeous coat that we frequently get complimented on and is well taken care of. I took him out to get groomed in the afternoon and when I picked him up, I saw that he was chained to a grooming stand by himself with no more than 4 inches slack. I didn't think much of it at the time, since I know he doesn't go into a crate easily, paid and left. Upon getting home I noticed he smelled great and was clean. After a day I noticed he wouldn't eat and was flinching and whining when I would touch or pet him. I rushed him to the vet thinking something was seriously wrong. After spending over $1200 at the vet for an exam, testing, and multiple pain meds, we realized that he had been brushed so hard on his back that they tore skin. After a couple days, and now 2 weeks, he has a HORRIFYING amount of LARGE scabs up and down his spine from the very top of his head to the base of his tail. We concluded that this was from the deshedding brush. There are no scabs on his stomach or sides so I cannot show photos and because he is black, they're nearly impossible to see when I try to photograph. I cannot bear the fact that my sweet boy was brushed so hard for god knows how long that he was bleeding and in pain. This was not a mistake that went unnoticed. This is pure animal cruelty and they are honestly lucky I am not pressing charges. They should not be allowed to touch another animal. Lord knows what else goes on behind closed doors. Please do not take your babies here. I am devastated for my boy.

I was bringing my doggie here because it was close to where I…read morelived and they were able to cut his hair since he's a bit feisty at haircuts (he only weighs 12 lbs.). One time I brought him here for a haircut and it was taking an unusually longer amount of time than normal and I was told he was still in the cage waiting for bath time. After several hours, I called again, still in cage. Then after 10 minutes they called and said he was ready . I found this unusual but didn't say anything. When I took him home, I found out that they had not given him a physical bath but threw some spray was on him which was caked up on his neck. Fraud and yet they still charged me the full grooming price. Never again

I call them and they denied that anything happen but there is no other way my dog got cut. We came straight home and no walks. Plus the cut looked perfectly sliced. I know that accidents can happen but to fail and tell me that they cut him and then lie about it is very unprofessional and just tells me they don't care about the dogs. I'm sure they put styptic powder to stop the bleeding and thought I wouldn't notice. Looking at reviews and just read a similar story. Shame on them!
