Amazing. Yes- we literally ate this food in my car because we couldn't wait to take it home. The Mac and cheese was amazing - you need to get it. The meat was also delicious, but my favorite part was the sauce that came on the side. We had three different sauces and they were all delicious. I feel like many BBQ places I go to have watery and/or very vinegary sauce on the side. Not here! I could've had it by itself (okay maybe not but it was amazing!) read more

great service and the food and drinks I know are amazing, can not beat it! Stop by you will not regret it! its the best

Nice little spot in the Stanley Marketplace! The meat was tasty but the potato salad and mac and cheese could have tasted a little better in my opinion! They had a good variety of items to choose from and really good barbecue sauces as well. Overall, it's a nice place to eat if you're looking for barbecue. read more

The second to worse brisket I've ever had! Very dry meat and the Mac and cheese was bad too. Couldn't pay me to go back. Whenever an establishment doesn't offer moist and lean brisket, you're in for a not so good experience. read more

I have gone here numerous times and the food was always really good. I just went in again and ordered burnet ends. Got home and 90 percent of what they gave me was all fat. Cubes of just fat. 20 dollars for inedible food read more

Everything is better than good. The ribs fall off of the bone, but only have a slight Smokey flavor. 2 sauces available: Mild and Hot. Both are good, but no Carolina, Memphis, St. Louis, etc. The beans scored a 9 out of 10 - good job Sweet and a slight spice, without overwhelming them with BBQ sauce, like most places. The cubed potato salad scored a 7 out of 10. Again, better than good. 1/2 slab, 2 sides and a drink, just under $21. I will return. read more

Has been good BBQ in the past. Leaving 1 star review as I tried to eat there tonight and they closed the counter on me at 655pm getting in line. They said "we close at 7". I said "it's only 655, can you get in one more order?" They said "we're closed". So much for customer service. read more

Can't help raving about this bbq! Got the three meat plate with pulled pork, burnt ends and beef brisket. Truly a meat lovers delight! My fav was definitely the beef burnt ends but the entire plate was good! They have a couple of large smokers outside the restaurant so this bbq is the real deal. This is a "fast food bbq" so you can take your food and eat it in many of the establishments in the Stanley Marketplace which is another whole review in itself. Highly recommend stopping here if you're a meat or bbq lover! read more

Rolling Smoke BBQ - Barbeque Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I may or may not have been having so much food envy that I ate a SECOND dinner at the Stanley Marketplace at Rolling Smoke BBQ. Does that tell you what you need to know? My partner and I showed up early in the evening, had a light meal, and then proceeded to check out the rest of the Marketplace. We walked by Rolling Smoke and saw all the deliciousness people were eating. Then we walked by again... then we were like "We're totally still hungry." And split a plate of brisket, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and plenty of pickles. The brisket was cooked to perfection and didn't even need BBQ sauce, but the sauce was a delicious addition. That said, the macaroni and cheese, weirdly enough, stole the show for us. It was very hard to actually share it. There was fork jousting. TL;DR - this place is as good as it looks/smells. Try it out! read more

Rolling Smoke has some great BBQ. Their burnt ends, which they claim are KC style, have good flavor. At first, I noticed they were a little fatty but not bad. As I ate more of them, I realized they were almost 50% fat. TRUE KC style burnt ends have some fat, about 25%, but these were too fatty for my taste. Their beans had good flavor but they were served to me lukewarm. The potato salad was good too. Simple. I liked their spicy BBQ sauce. The staff was cool, and nice. I think it was too expensive for what I got. Overall I'd say they need to check temps on their sides and watch the fat on the meat, and maybe lower their prices. read more

Not a stand alone restaurant, but a walk up window with seating front, located in the Stanley Marketplace. The burnt tips were half fat, but still melt in your mouth. The macaroni and cheese had too much pepper for my liking, but nice and cheesy. The baked beans have jalapeño in them and we're amazing, as well as the bbq sauce they offer. Will be returning for more bbq, but probably takeout. read more

Rolling Smoke BBQ - Brisket, Burnt Ends, Baked Beans, Macaroni and Cheese, Spicy Sausage (both plates) - Barbeque Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

I probably can't give an ideal review due to the brisket running out just before I ordered, but this rolling smoke left me my friends unsatisfied. The highlight was the St Louis ribs, which were smokey and tender. Tge pulled pork was decent. Everything else was downhill from there. The sauce lacked depth of flavor anf balance, and the hot tasted like the sweet with a bunch cayenne pepper dumped in it. We tried the Mac n cheese, slaw, beans, potato salad...all tasted strange to straight gross and we didn't finish them. The tea was only available in sweet, not plain, so I skipped it. The water jug ran out and we mentioned it to the staff, but just got an " ok". They we're not rude but seemed "over it". Maybe it was a hard lunch rush and we showed up at the end (1:30). The prices were pretty typical for the Denver area, but can't justify more than 3 stars unless the sides improve. read more

Don't overthink it. If they haven't run out for the day, get the burnt ends. Perfectly caramelized, tender, great smoke flavor, and not too much fat. They really do an amazing job of making sure the burnt ends have rendered off a sufficient amount of fat before serving them. If they're all out of the burnt ends, don't despair. You won't be disappointed with the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, or hot links. The portions for the combo plates are more than sufficient for the heartiest of appetites. All of the sides are delicious, though I especially like the collard greens and mac-n-cheese. As I'm learning at home, making great BBQ isn't overly difficult with the right tools, but it does require that you put in the time. The folks at Rolling Smoke clearly put in the time to make their BBQ the right way. There is always a heavy, but well-executed dose of smoke in all of their meats and the meats always have just the right amount of fat to keep things juicy and flavorful but not overly rich with fat. Love me some Rolling Smoke! read more

I felt like this was a solid, good. My hubs and I ate here while at The Big Wonderful. We got food from the truck outside, and I think maybe food was being brought out from inside and maybe not being kept hot. By maybe, I mean not at all. Everything was tepid at best. Flavors were really good though. We got pulled pork, beans, slaw and mac and cheese. The pork and beans were the winners. Very good. The pork was very tender and juicy. The "smoked" mac and cheese had great texture, but lacked a bit in flavor. The "smoke" was something in a sterno. Not my kind of smoke. ;) I'd definitely try their other offerings, perhaps not at an event. read more

Great BBQ! We got the sampler for $30. All the meats and two sides. Great mac n cheese and beans and the portions were generous. We had the leftovers for lunch the next day. The grand opening was posted for 1pm I got at the counter around 120. They only had two meats available and out of my favorite side, collard greens. After a few attempts I found good BBQ in Colorado. All of their food is smoked to perfection as we ate everything they had to offer. I only ate there initially because I made a comment about me being BBQ Bougie and I didn't want to eat there because I didn't think Denver had good BBQ. Well Carina (one of the owners) yells CHALLENGE ACCEPTED from behind the counter and begins to introduce me to the best BBQ I have had in Denver. The burnt ends, ribs, sausage, hit links and Turkey were all smoked well with the right amount of smoke and dry rub. The show stoppers were the smoked mac and cheese and the smoked collars greens. The greens were some of the best ever tender, flavorful with a little spice to them. I can't in good faith say that there isn't any good BBQ in Denver anymore! read more

Wow wow wow is all I have to say. Nice guys working here! Stanley marketplace is a collective of hip shopping spots & great food. Lots of open seating throughout! Ok, back to the food. Amazing! The portion for the price is perfect! 2 of us shared the 2 meat plate with 2 sides, $16 and I still had to take some home. We tried burnt ends + pulled pork + Mac n cheese + baked beans, 1 water & 1 sweet tea...$20! Totally worth it! Usually bbq makes my stomach upset & I can taste it for hours after I eat it usually...BUT this Q does not! The sauces are great & you can tell everything is quality! They don't skimp! Rolling Smoke BBQ - 2 meat plate with 2 sides $16, burnt ends + pulled pork + Mac n cheese + baked beans - Barbeque Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

My wife and I got the brisket and sausage. Both meats were extremely dry. The sausage was so dry it was difficult to cut even with a knife. The brisket lacked flavor and was definitely overcooked. The worst part was the Mac and cheese. It's pretty difficult to mess up Mac and cheese but they totally did. It looked and tasted as if it was made at least 2 days ago and left out and reheated a couple of times as it had some hard crusted cheese on the top of a few of the shells. Just a stale flavor in general which matched the bland flavor of the brisket and sausage. Here's a photo of the uneaten old Mac and cheese. Definitely don't think I would return to this BBQ restaurant again. read more

Hands down best crew in the world and the quality of food is so delicious. Coming from Miami Florida they definitely do not disappoint.

Food: 3.5/5 - I got the two meat platter with ribs and brisket. The ribs tasted great but seemed like they weren't very warm. The brisket was pretty good. Fries were good but mac & cheese could have been warmer. Venue: N/A - I'm from KC where one of our best BBQ places is in a gas station:) Service: 4/5 - Pretty standard, nothing that wow'd me. read more

Heads up, this review only pertains to the brisket. I wasn't very hungry but I had never been here before so even though I stopped in Stanley marketplace for something completely different, thought I'd stop over and give this place a try. I only ordered a quarter pound of brisket, no sides. In my opinion, the brisket is like the staple meat of any BBQ joint. I guess I'll have to try some of the other meats because I was pretty underwhelmed with the brisket. It seemed dry, and sort of pasty and did not seem to have much flavor. Not enough rub it perhaps they don't use rub? Some of the places that I've been to that have better brisket are able to make it juicier and more flavorful. Will try other meats next time and hope it's better. read more

Located in Stanley Marketplace lies amazingly delicious BBQ at Rolling Smoke. Service is warm and friendly. It works just like a food truck where you order and pick it up once it's ready. We ordered the plate with the brisket, burnt ends, and honey sausage. The brisket was very moist and tender. The honey sausage was flavorful but the burnt ends standed out the most. My oh my are they delicious! Juicy, tender, and flavorful! Found my go-to BBQ place to get my fix. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend! read more

Only gave two stars because the food is decent. There is definitely way better BBQ out there. What they are lacking most is customer service skills. I get it, this is probably not their dream job but laughing and making fun of customers as soon as they turn their back is disgusting. Had a great 3 meat plate today for lunch. Honestly it was way too much food and I had to share it with friends. Ribs were tender and well seasoned. Hot links were fantastic. These guys hit it out of the Park!! Food Truck BBQ heaven... although they have several selections to choose from, chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, I picked the pulled pork with the hot bbq sauce which was heavenly. Nothing was horrid, decent bbq but a bit dry the greens were good. I guess if you are having bbq make sure you are in Texas .

I was in the mood for some Q and saw the long line dragging out of Rolling Smoke so I went to see what the fuss was about. These guys sure have a following! The plates coming out of this line are a much larger than other places I saw and so the cheapie in me went for value, good choice! They had a great deal on two meat plate ($14) considering most venders will charge the same without sides. Two meats and two sides for $14. I tried the burnt ends, pulled pork, smoked mac'n'cheese, and potato salad. While the plate didn't bring me back down to Kansas City or transport me to St Louis, it was still pretty delicious. The smoked Mac stole the show, I wish there was a whole play of just the Mac! read more

You know, with restaurants under the gun now and being forced to close, one would think that restaurant owners would want to keep their customers happy by at least serving quality food. We have eaten there on a few occasions inside Stanley. It is okay. Not the best barbeque, not the worst. Certainly over-priced for what little they give you. (I unabashedly claim that my burnt ends are the bomb!) We met my father, who lives in Stapleton, over at Stanley hoping that the Comida or Denver Biscuit Co. food trucks were open because as we all know, Stanley is closed. They were not so we had to default to Rolling Smoke. (You order on the phone, they heat it up inside and bring it to you out by the truck.) My wife and I chose to share the 3 meat option ($18, excluding tax). For which one gets 2 sides and a choice of 3 meats. (I must say, their green pork chili side is very good, though if you can find any pork in there, lucky you. And their cold slaw is excellent.) We got the barbeque turkey breast (3 slices), bourbon sausage (It is 1/2 a sausage) and 4 Very Small burnt ends, which were 25% fat. But that is their MO so, I was not surprised. My father ordered the burnt ends ($15.58). What they served him was inexcusable. Seven pieces of which, the largest was just one hunk of fat. Three other pieces were at least 2/3 fat and the remaining ones were also Very Small and, 50% fat. When I say "fat," I mean just that. Not fat intertwined with the meat, just obvious pieces of fat. It was just shameful and I would give them -5 stars, if it were possible. The fact is, they did this intentionally. There was no line of customers waiting. No rush for them to get orders out. They know exactly what they are serving and putting into the containers. And I will repeat my opening comments: "...with restaurants under the gun now being forced to close, one would think that restaurant owners would want to keep their customers happy by at least serving quality food. Quite obviously not the owners of Rolling Smoke BBQ. And how short-sighted because as everyone knows, word-of-mouth can be the best advertising but, it can also be the worst. read more

After two years, finally got around to trying this place, and why did we wait so long. Outstanding BBQ. We got the $30 sampler plate, which had a ton of meat to feed 4 easily. The meats were all outstanding, favorites including Burnt Tips and ribs. Pulled pork was also great. Even the turkey was moist. Best part, not too much smoke flavor, which can easily overwhelm. Sides were mac 'n cheese and beans, which were outstanding. We ordered online to-go, and when picked up, was in the oven, so didn't get cold and dry. Really impressed! read more

Holy smokes! Stopped by at 7:45 pm to get a quick to-go order. I got a brisket sandwich and mac n cheese. They were out of burnt ends and pulled pork, which makes me think those are their most popular items. I was absolutely not disappointed with my options, though! They have a variety of typical bbq meats and sides, but their food was above my expectations. Oh and their spicy bbq is fantastic. The food was delicious, filling, and so satisfying.
