I genuinely like this place and want it to do well. However, under no circumstance should they charge $15!!! dollars for roasted cauliflower. I tried they're Buffalo cauilflower wings and it was roasted cauliflower with buffalo sauce, was not good at all, served with a side of ranch. Look, I absolutely love Rolling Oven and recommend them everyone, but the Versailles location just seems to have problems. I've now been twice since they opened and neither visit was great. The first trip they brought one of our pizzas to the table and haphazardly tossed it onto the table which causes the entire pizza to slide off the plate onto the table. Today a lunch order took 45 minutes to arrive. Three of us ordered together but paid separately. Since we were together they gave us a single table number. After about a 30 minute wait, the first sandwich arrived, the next order didn't show up until the first had finished eating. They had to ask the third person what they even ordered so it was nearly an hour before their pizza arrived. If I'm sitting around having beers I don't mind waiting but fear they will lose the lunch business crowd if they don't improve. read more

You know, I really want to like this place but find it very difficult. I've given it several tries, at the behest of friends, and I just feel let down virtually every time. I've had pizza here several times and all but once the pie was significantly burned, toppings uneven and the thing was just a letdown. ALL the times I've been here the service was outright horrible- not even sure I'd use the word "service". Most times I've had to go to the bar and eventually get helped there. Not sure if they are way understaffed or what. On all my visits I think I've seen only one familiar server- they must have a lot of turnover. One visit, the flies were so bad I decided to not even eat. The atmosphere is ok but the picnic tables are uncomfortable and often nasty. Gotta say next time friends ask if I wanna go I'm gonna suggest someplace else. read more

Absolutely stoked this location is finally open!! Have visited twice and neither time they didn't disappoint!! Super friendly and helpful staff. I think we've had conversations with just about everyone so far that works here. I wouldn't be surprised if this location didn't have to expand in the very near future. Always busy, like lined up to the door from the bar to place an order busy with all tables/seats completely occupied. Same menu as at the other 2 locations and check out the chalk board for daily specialty pizzas. Any questions about the menu, just ask they are always willing to answer any you may have. Great selection/variety of craft beer on tap that's always always rotating. They also have bottled sodas, bottled water for purchase along with a small selection of wines. They don't offer ice but believe me, they keep the sodas and water ice cold. This location is much closer to our house and we'll be frequenting often!! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! You can tell from your meal, it is fresh ingredients and always has been very good!! They cook everything in a big pizza oven which is soo cool. Their beer is always cold and have over 15 craft beers. I will always eat here!! The only "negative" is they don't have real cutlery, it's all plastic plates, bowls, and silverware. The pizza was SO delicious, and John cheerfully customized our individual preferences for each half. Happy casual ambiance with both rolling garage-style doors open to the full patio on this gorgeous evening. Service was friendly and attentive. I had the Rolling Oven without cheese, and it was packed with goodness! My old fashioned (made with malt liquor) was yummy. The patio is adjacent to the original Versailles Spring, surrounded with huge beautiful trees , and looks out on green lawns, even though it's right in the center of the downtown area. For the area this is a cool spot to check out. They have a large selection of beers both in house and guest taps. The atmosphere is big open space with a basic bar feel. I was not disappointed with anything I ordered but some stuff was just ok. I loved the pretzel and would recommend that to anyone who goes. The waitress did say that the owner tries to source as much local as possible and keep things fresh. Great ambiance and beer selection. We had the whipped goat cheese and fried avocado skins for appetizers. I loved the goat cheese especially because of the hot honey drizzled over top. I couldn't stop eating it. We also got the rolling oven supreme pizza and the honey garlic chicken pizza. They both we're great but the honey drizzled over the honey garlic made that my favorite. A great local spot for pizza and craft beers. They have a nice selection of local beer on rotating taps, each a very reasonable $5. The pizzas are mostly small sized so if you have a large group you may want to order a few. There's garage doors that open up to a deck on the back which looked like a great place to sit for warmer weather. However, we came in at 5:30 on a Friday night and had to wait over an hour for 2 pizzas. Anyone with small kids knows that it can be nearly impossible to occupy them for that long in a restaurant. When our food finally came it had taken so long that we had to ask to have it boxed up and take it home to eat in order to avoid a toddler meltdown. We really enjoyed the pizzas, the banana peppers on the meat option were awesome. Would love to come back and try some of the other pizza options, I'd just hope the service is a little quicker next time! read more

I'll start with the good - we arrived around 6:15 on a relatively busy Saturday night. We were able to get a table within 15 minutes. They have a good beer selection, and we also got a free appetizer because they had accidentally made an extra avocado bruschetta. Not a huge bruschetta fan but I appreciated the gesture and everyone else in my party enjoyed it. We put in an order for 4 different small pizzas. And then we waited. FOREVER. After about 40 minutes, we asked the waiter how much longer it might be. He said he would check, came back and said "it's going to be another 15 minutes or so." As I recall it, there was no apology and definitely no communication as to why it was taking so long. After another 10-15 minutes, I watched them put our pizzas in. It seemed to be a matter of them never being made in the first place. We watched several parties that arrived way after us receive their pizzas within 20 minutes or so. After over an hour, we finally got our pizzas. They were hot and pretty good but at that point I was so hungry and annoyed, I would have eaten anything. Our server (Mike W) once again did not apologize for the wait or offer any consolation. In fact, he basically avoided our table once we asked for an update. I didn't want to seem ungrateful for the free appetizer so I didn't say anything, but we would have gladly traded that for getting our pizzas in a timely manner. We still tipped about 15% but I feel this was mostly Mike's fault. I have been a server and I know that 90% is simply good communication and apologizing if you mess up or even when things are out of your hands. Even if he did put the order in on time, it was his responsibility to keep us informed. But everything kind of adds up to maybe he never put it in in the first place. Not sure I'll ever go back which is a shame because it's a nice Versailles spot otherwise. read more

The pizza was wonderful. I think we were there on an off night. Everyone seemed flustered, and the food was coming out very slowly. Several times, the servers were all standing around the pizza oven like they were simply waiting for food to come out. We probably wouldn't have noticed as much except we had to be somewhere else at a set time. However, our server kept us updated and apologized numerous times for the delay. This is a lovely place with indoor seating and a great deck area. A live band was playing on the deck, which clashed with the music being played inside. Someone finally noticed and turned the inside music off. I think this is a five-star place on a good night. We definitely will be back when time is not an issue. read more

This place has it going on!! First of all they are located in the heart of horse country (Versailles) and closer to home. Oh and just an FYI, they are in the opposite corner of the square from the police station so everyone just stay cool. They don't have a sign on the front of the place so you have to remember the speak easy words to get in and if you don't know the secret words its written above the door" education building methodist church" . They have all the favorite pizzas as the location in Mirror Twin Brewery. The last time i was there the line was out the door for pizza. Its so good. Was visiting a local shop in Georgetown and was told if I didn't have lunch plans that this place just had a soft opening and was right around the corner. there's no sign yet and today was day two they were open. The grand opening is Friday. Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in but we were greeted by friendly staff, and watched them bake the pizza in the oven right in front of us! We had a couple local drinks and ordered the Bourbon BBQ pizza. When they pulled it out of the oven they had a spray nozzle screwed onto the top of a makers mark bottle and sprayed the pizza with bourbon!! I was amazed. The pizza tasted as great as it looked and it was fairly priced. These guys know what's up and the restaurant is definitely going to be a hit if they keep it up! read more

My husband and I enjoyed this new establishment! Lots of awesome beer on tap, also wine and Ale8 for non-beer drinkers. The food menu was pretty extensive, which was great. My husband and I had a tough time deciding on just one pizza . We decided on the avocado skins for a starter (Keto friendly, if you're a Keto diet person) as well as the Reg size (14") Meat pizza and added olives. You order at the counter, so my husband placed the order for us for food as well as drinks. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes for us to finally get our Avocado Skins. Which was one avocado cut in half with melts bacon and cheese on top. It took over 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our pizza. Other diners were also upset that the service was so slow. UK was playing on one of the many flat screens around the restaurant, so it made the wait a little more bearable. I'm not sure I've ever waited that long for a pizza. The food, however, was delicious!! They have paper plates and napkins as well as plastic utensils available if needed. There's large picnic tables for large groups, smaller tables for parties of 4 or less, bar top tables, as well as seating at the actual bar. Lots of options!
