This isn't some Michelin star restaurant. It's a broken down food truck with a giant barrel smoker in a gravel lot. Meat is cooked with no rub or marinade which is fine because the hickory smoke is the seasoning. Most times the ribs are a bit dry, but if you're not a prick, the sauce makes up for it. It's tomato based and heavily spiced with cinnamon and pepper... Delicious. If you are a prick, you'll still love the smoked sausage. If you're a big sides guy like me, their potato salad is some of the best I've had. Mayo based but also vinegar, and sweet relish for extra zing. Slaw is good. Beans are good. Peach cobbler is pretty basic sloppy homestyle stuff. Not my favorite but my parents and grandparents dig it when they are in town. I serve it with vanilla ice cream at home. Don't let the yelp snobs scare you away from a good experience. Go try it for yourself.

They made great suggestions that did not disappoint. The food was amazing, fresh, unique, and really flavorful without being over the top. The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. We have now gone back to the brewery just because we knew Meaty Boyz was there! The first time we tried the empanadas, and the brisket bowl. The empanada dough was perfectly tender and the meat was seasoned just right. The bowl had delicious smoked brisket, roasted sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, and chickpeas, drizzle of tahini sauce, and BBQ sauce. The second time we went my husband got the pulled pork bowl again (he liked it too much to change!) and I got their Chopped Cheez. OMG. I have had many days since that I have craved that dang chopped cheese! This was the first chopped cheese I've tried, but since then I've tried a few others and they don't compare at all! It had ground beef chopped up (like a burger patty) with grilled onions and melted cheese all on a really delicious roll, with lettuce, tomato and an awesome white bbq sauce... my mouth is watering!
