I frequently travel and like to use Yelp to guide me to my next dining and dessert experience. That said, I have had lots of tasty experiences thanks to fellow Yelpers. I walked from my house with my daughter this morning, 25 minutes there and 25 minutes back. I felt less guilty for eating a jalapeno ham and cheese croissant and a handful of donut holes. Those croissants....they're amazing. Spicy, delicate, salty. I could eat a whole tray of them!! read more

Rollen Donuts has been around since I can remember and I always loved their apple fritters the best....the old owner was there before 4am every single morning because I used to live down the street and I saw him come him each day...sadly, since he passed and the people who own it now took over, the place has gone way down hill...Im not here to bash the place but I have to be honest...the apple fritters used to be bigger than my head and now they are about the size of my hand (and thats not very big) and they are hard as a rock...I thought I would never find a place that would sell as good of apple fritters as Rollen but I have.If you want good fresh *soft* apple fritters then go to Manley's on R st.... read more

Stopped here for donuts on our way to Vegas from Sacramento, and it was an excellent decision. Their donuts were fresh, warm and fluffy at 8 am when we visited. The 4 of us got a dozen mixed from old fashioned to bear claws to cream filled, all were wonderful. We finished them up in no time. Coffee was pretty good and perfect to go with their donuts.
