Jowi at the Salem office showroom was super nice and helpful. We decided on Thor Kitchen appliances and they are amazing quality, and priced very fairly. They do take credit cards but charge an extra % so we paid by check so no problem. The fridge came damaged and then took a while to get a replacment which was a bit of a pain due to supply issues but they communicated with us and we finally got the kitchen of our dreams completed! Called Scotty in the morning and he said he be by in about an hour and in an hour he was here. He diagnosed it and did waste my time - told me straight up it was not salvageable. When I asked him for recommendations on what might be a good model he not only helped me, but while standing in my kitchen made a call and told me where I could get one same day. Dennis and I are having TV problems. This is SERIOUS as Dennis loves his TV…read more We have a big HEAVY RCA which sometimes would not turn on or take 20 minutes to turn on. Quite a nuisance and unpredictable appliance, indeed. Dennis and his late mother had uses Dick's TV and Appliance. He said it has been there like 30 plus years and had done a good job. So before our trip, Dennis and I killed ourselves and carried the monstrosity down the stairs and shipped it off to Dick's. 2 days later, they call to say it is ready. Come get it. $120 buckaroos. OK UPDATE: 2 days later and 1 day to vacation departure and the f-in TV has the same problem, this time it does not turn on at all. WTF? Last week now that we are back and settled we garner up the energy to lug the monstrosity back to Dick's. They fix it again (loose connection, they say) and it works. My refrigerator was having temperature issues, so I called WSH to come take a look. They came and…read moretold me I need a temperature gauge. We scheduled the install which was not in-expensive, and after a day the same problem persisted. They came back to look at the fridge again and then told me I need a condenser. We scheduled that service, and then after some additional due diligence they told me that I now actually need an entirely new circuit board. I subsequently had them install that, and after another day the same problem persisted. They then came again and told me I need a new seal and a part for the door. After about a week the same problem persisted. The owner was not willing to guarantee his work. He did keep sending them back to trouble-shoot the issues, however I did have to pay for the majority of the parts and labor with the exception of the last install. I spent just under $1,000 dollars and I still have a broken refrigerator. I would not recommend this company; they don't guarantee, and they rob their customers. Absolutely terrible!
