Jowi at the Salem office showroom was super nice and helpful. We decided on Thor Kitchen appliances and they are amazing quality, and priced very fairly. They do take credit cards but charge an extra % so we paid by check so no problem. The fridge came damaged and then took a while to get a replacment which was a bit of a pain due to supply issues but they communicated with us and we finally got the kitchen of our dreams completed! At the end, Victor gave us a nice gift, which was so nice and appreciated! I can not recamend Moderno enough! Excellent products and customer service!

Adam was our service technician, and he was punctual, friendly, and professional, even with my curious cat trying to supervise him the entire time! He did lots of troubleshooting, and was at my home for about an hour. Once completed, he thoroughly explained what would happen going forward if we decided to go ahead with the repair. Ultimately, we decided not to repair our dishwasher, as it is pretty old, and it wouldn't be worth it in the end, despite a certainly reasonable cost. He pointed to two models on the floor, then turned his back on my partner and me and didn't say another word to either of us. He didn't even bother to see if we were looking at the right stoves. He didn't ask if there was anything he could help with; he did ask us if that was what we were looking for- nothing, not another word. I went to ask him a question, but he was talking to another employee who was looking at us and could hear him tell the other person what we wanted, and he had nothing else to show us. Quite a nuisance and unpredictable appliance, indeed. Dennis and his late mother had uses Dick's TV and Appliance. He said it has been there like 30 plus years and had done a good job. So before our trip, Dennis and I killed ourselves and carried the monstrosity down the stairs and shipped it off to Dick's. 2 days later, they call to say it is ready. Come get it. $120 buckaroos. OK UPDATE: 2 days later and 1 day to vacation departure and the f-in TV has the same problem, this time it does not turn on at all. WTF? Last week now that we are back and settled we garner up the energy to lug the monstrosity back to Dick's. They fix it again (loose connection, they say) and it works. Naturally it was "just beyond" our 3 year Geek Squad guarantee. I thought George did absolutely nothing for me - in fact, I had ice in the inside box before he arrived and after checking things out, that stopped. Almost like he wanted to come in, charge me $79.95 for the service call and the $500 for the rest of the job and leave. Total time with me: 15 minutes.
