We had a leak from our Whirlpool washer and I called Whirlpool customer service who referred us to Acfast. They scheduled an appointment within a few days and sent a very professional technician, Travis. He diagnosed the problem, ordered a part and came back within a week to fix the machine. It was a pleasure dealing with this company. They have excellent communication and customer service. Highly recommend! I bought an LG Airconditioner from Home Depot. It had a bad control panel. I called LG and was told that we needed to have an onsite repair. So they gave me Acfast appliance service. I called them and spoke with Holly. She was great. She listened to my issues and said they would order the control panel and when it arrived, they would call and set up service. The part came in three days and I was called as promised. They scheduled the service for Monday between 4 and 530. Mark showed up at 345. He was early. I thought that was great. Our air conditioner is mounted in a difficult place to service. That didn't stop Mark. He went above and beyond and did everything he could to get the unit fixed. I called and talked with a lady she said down to 1 tech would call me back they were recomended by Cold Springs RV That was a month ago!!! After waiting 1 week I called Appliance Doctor left message .... No return call.... My wife and I are in RV (with household whirlpool fridge) and were leaving in a month. At that time I almost gave up but tried 1 more company. On Point and was greeted with How May I Help You attitude and Dylan was there within an hour. He assessed problem ordered part and said it may not be the cure but informed us that if he had to return there would be no additional labor charge. Part was sent over night and he returned to install promptly. It did not cure the problem at that point we were to leave in 3 days. We told him overnight part and do his best. Being in an rv it is very tricky to remove fridge to work on he was there at 8 am to fix but to get fridge out required special tools. I informed him i would get them that day if he could return later that day. He said he would but maybe 6pm or? as we were leaving NH in the morning for SC. Dylan returned pm at 630 and repaired fridge the only extra fee was for parts.... Knowing that wasn't right we gave him a small tip to show our appreciation. Stay away!!! I recently acquired the services of Acfast to repair my Maytag washer. The machine was just short of 2.5 years old and had begun shaking violently during the spin cycle, and the machine and drum were level so we needed professional assistance. I called over the weekend and left a message explaining my issue and left a phone number for someone to return my call. No one returned my call. After a few days I called them back and scheduled an appointment for service. As of 4/2009 their service rates are $79 for the first quarter hour (15 minutes) and $20 per quarter hour thereafter. The technician came to the house and said that we needed to replace the springs the drum sits on and that the repair would be about $200. My boyfriend told the technician that we are on a bit of a budget in the sense due to a recent layoff, and as a result if the $200 could not fix the issue we'd rather put it into the purchase of a new washer. We were told this would fix the issue. The parts took a week to get, and we were able to schedule a prompt appointment for the installation. The technician did not properly test the machine. He let the spin cycle run for just a few moments and did not allow it to complete a full spin. If he had done that he would have found that the same problem existed. We called them back immediately but were told because it was late in the day they likely wouldn't be able to get in touch with the technician but they'd call us on Monday. They did not call me back on Monday, and instead I needed to call them. I was told that the technician needed to call the Tech Line since this repair did not work. I was told they would call back that afternoon. Would you be surprised if I told you they didn't call back? I called them Tuesday morning to inquire as to what was happening. I was told that the technician was in tech school for the day and she would try to get in touch with him. She actually did call me back this afternoon to tell me that I will need an additional part that costs $181 and would require an hour of labor ($80). After explaining to her that we were expecting that the first repair would correct the issue and it hasn't, we were not expecting to budget an additional $260 for this washer. She would not in any way barter with respect to the labor and insisted we were paying it. After calling Maytag directly to speak with customer service, and having that representative call Acfast the representative at Acfast told Maytag that they were ordering a new base in the "hope" that it would fix our issue and that this had been communicated. This never was. Even in attempting to fix a problem that they never fixed in the first place, they still did not communicate that there was a possibility it may not be fixed. Only when the manufacturer inquired about the complaint against the Maytag authorized repair center did Acfast acknowledge that this was a problem that may not be solved. And so far I've yet to have anyone tell me whether or not the first parts were really damaged or if they did that thinking it would fix it when really they were in perfect working order and this larger issue was the problem. Stay away from this company unless you want to throw money at a problem they won't be able to repair. read more

I have used Acfast several times over the last 9 years. I own several rental properties in the area and go to them to service my tenant's appliances. They are always prompt, courteous, and get the job done quickly. Even better, they bill me directly instead of the tenants and have a service record of all the work they have done for me. We have had this business here more times than I want to count seeing as we had a house full of new appliances. They were servicing my Kitchenaid warranty for me and I became on a first name basis with their rep. who is a sweetheart. They came out within a reasonable amount of time, their repair tech was pleasant and was knowledgeable. I had them out for my dishwasher and my microwave and oven several times for different issues. Once while here, he even helped unlock the washer which is an Electrolux (they don't do cover that warranty) so I could get my two pillows out because that warranty guy couldn't arrive here for 5 days. Don't call Acfast if you want a service company to act fast! They are slow to respond and schedule appointments weeks out. Because my equipment was under warranty, I had to go through them but they were never able to solve my problem in one visit. read more

Always curious and knowledgeable... The whirlpool product is crap but we are stuck with it for now. Acfast has always been great, reasonable and usually fix whatever issue in the first 15 kind, so besides parts their rates are acceptable. They are my go to repair people. read more

Recently I had Acfast come out to my house to service my stove. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I had heard about Acfast through a friend of mine, who said they were great and worked on Frigidaire in warranty. My friend was not wrong. I'm not sure what the other two reviews on here are talking about. I had no troubles at all. I called them on a Monday to set up the appointment and they scheduled me for Wednesday afternoon. The woman in the office was very helpful with my questions, because I wanted to make sure they could do the repair on my Fridgidaire stove in warranty. They arrived within the time frame they had given me (3-5) and were very nice. My stove had recently stopped working after I used the self clean feature. Acfast told me that sometimes it is common to happen and even had the part with them to be able to fix it. They did a couple tests on my stove to make sure that it was the part they had thought it was and then replaced it right there. Start to finish it was probably only 30mins or so. I'm not sure how much the repair would have cost, only because my stove was still under warranty. I was VERY grateful to get my stove back and I cannot say enough good things about the service Acfast gave me. Do not hesitate to call these guys and please do not listen to these other two reviews. I also work with the public and know that you just can't satisfy everyone, even though Acfast surely tries! Thanks again Acfast! P.S - They told me they had a website out now also. We tried to get Acfast to our home to fix our refrigerator, and it took them 2 weeks to arrive. Once here, the guy spent the entire time on the phone, and was unable to do anything. Then 3 weeks later, we got him back to the house, I told him exactly what the problem was, that the drip pan was cracked, he spent 45 minutes trying to figure out that I was indeed correct. Then 2 more weeks to get the part and install it. I tried to pay him, but he could not remember the price of the part. 3 months later...yes 3 months later...I receive a bill, that is not itemized, for $449. I will never recommend this business, nor will I ever use them again. They were nice people, but the rest was awful. read more

fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. called this company over year ago because it was the only 1 listed as an authorized service center for our samsung refrigerator. 1 week ago the same problem resurfaced for our now out of warranty refrigerator. the technician arrived monday the same day we called but was unable to fix the problem and charged us 188 dollars just for the courtesy of his company. soon after he left someone from the office called to reschedule an appointment for thursday afternoon. the appointment came and went with no technician.we recived another call later to reschedual for Friday. After ariving an hour late and spending another 30 minplaying with our fridge it still is not fixed. Now we have to spend the weekend with out refrigeration, making 8 days in total with no guarantee that the issue will be resolved. Avoid these people at all costs read more
