Finally got the see this place after finding it on Tik Tok! They have not done their official grand opening, but they have a pop up shop for the time being. It's a small space with lots arts and crafts, from flowers, DIY kits for cafes, book stores, and slice of life. I ended up buying their DIY Cafe, and it's super easy to follow the instructions. Can't wait to see this once it's grand opening!

Rolife is such a cute store inside the Valley Fair Mall with all of their miniature sets that you can see before you buy (and put together yourself). I've been a fan of their sets (examples: bookstore, coffee house, living room) but it's not as easy seeing the details on-line on their website vs being able to see (and hold in your hand, in some cases). Staff were friendly. And, there was plenty of merchandise in stock despite how busy they were when we visited.

Not ideal because the stations for rug making are not spaced out enough to accommodate multiple parties of 2-3 going at once if you are seated where people can sit behind you. The people at the end don't have to worry about getting too close to someone tufting behind them the way we did. We came in early for a 10 am and spent our first hour in there alone. Once other parties showed up, it was crowded. Workers had to place projectors at odd angles so that the new parties could trace their work while those already working could continue their rugs. We did not find instruction to be the best. It honestly felt like we were bothering the workers by being there and they seemed annoyed when we needed things like scissors. Trust me that we wouldnt have bothered them if they had just told us where we could find it all ourselves. They also didnt share that the rug itself if made from them shaving down the threads. So the side you stitch isnt the final product. We figured this out on our own and we were glad we did because it let us relax from thinking our lines had to be perfect. A tip I have to share is to outline the things you want to stand out. Otherwise, the threads will blend together. I held the gun a little too hard and it was sore by the time we were done. It was a bit hectic by then so we had to wait a while for someone to take our rug to shave it down. This is also something super important to consider. If you come when it's busy, itll take them longer to shave your rug down. It took them 30 min for ours so we walked around the mall while we waited but when we came back, the pile of rugs waiting to get picked up and shaved had grown from 2-4 to a stacked pile of at least 3 ft. We got lucky that we spent our first hour of our three hour session there nearly alone. We did medium sized rugs. There is a holding fee of about $45 and then I think I paid about $200 in store. It would be nice if the rug held up better but that might be better left to professionals. This is more novelty and I don't think I recommend actually using it. It sheds a lot when you do and even more when you wash it. Overall, I do recommend this experience. It was fun and you do get a cute rug as a souvenir of the experience.

This review is specifically for their custom framing department…read more My husband and I got married in New Orleans and purchased a print by a local artist during our wedding weekend. I finally got around to framing it and went to the Michaels location off Coleman. I was thinking that I could get a frame off their shelves, but I quickly realized that the poster had uncommon dimensions. I had no choice but to get a custom frame for it. I was assisted by a young gentleman, who was very friendly and helpful. I'm the worst when it comes to making decisions. I have to analyze every little thing, and then I get stuck in analysis paralysis. The associate was so patient with me, and he didn't rush me through the process. I also feel like he didn't limit me on variations of frame colors and matboard. He brought out everything to ensure that I had considered all my options. I relied heavily on his guidance and settled on an elegant thin silver frame with a blue mat. I called Michael's a week after the expected due date and was informed that it would be ready the following day. I was glad to see that the gentleman who helped me with my custom frame was the same person checking out my product. He carefully laid the framed print out, and I was stunned by how amazingly cohesive the frame and matting looked with the overall print. It was honestly perfect. This was my first custom frame job EVER - not just from Michael's. I was so pleased with their customer care and execution that I would not hesitate to go to Michaels Coleman custom framers!

They had heart shaped silicon molds for making cupcakes, stickers, gift bags and decor. They also had valentine hair accessories. I found a cute hair clip that I wanted to purchase. All the valentines items were 40% off, which was a great deal. There was a small section of St. Patrick's Day items, as well. At the checkout you have the option for self checkout or checkout with an employee. There was a customer being helped at a register and two were checking out at the self checkout. An employee directed me to an available self checkout which worked out great. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes total. I really love that they offer self checkout. I remember in the past when you'd have to wait in a crazy long line with only two registers open. The self checkout eliminates this long wait. It makes the shopping experience so much better.

There were a couple other parties with young children and she was so patient and cheerful. Her energy and positivity made our visit extra memorable, thank you Monica! When we arrived, because we were new the staff helped show us around, and explained the process. The area itself is super cute and cozy, with seating by the windows as well as large tables for bigger parties. We were able to pick up our pieces about 5 days later? Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, they had some music playing and everything was neat and organized. Contacting via email with the team was seamless when asking for a discounted price and ensuring our reservation was confirmed. Going in meeting our instructor, Jamie, was great. The lamp making itself is worth the cost, you come out with a beautiful piece of art that you created. Once you turn the light on the design looks amazing, even if you originally think differently ! As for the minor improvements. We had to call to figure out how to get in. They said they we should have gotten an email about how to enter, but we did not. The other party that came in also didn't get instructions. So we walked the whole square. Entrance will be the gate closest to the main parking lot, on your right. Ask the staff for the code before going in. Also, DO NOT park in that parking lot or you will be towed. The signs were so small, we didn't know but Jamie informed us. Plenty of street parking ! Last, no Turkish coffee or sweets were offered though it said they were on the website. Not a huge deal breaker, but just don't advertise it. Other than that, great experience. Would come back to try a different craft event !!!
