Stopped here on my way through town. It is just off of main street and up a hill so you might not notice it if you were just driving through town. I had been craving a carnitas burrito and this one didn't disappoint. The meat we tender and the flavors good. It was also a very generous portion. The service was friendly and quick in the middle of a lunch rush. My only qualm is with the fact that sooo many people did not bother to wear a mask that it was uncomfortable going inside to order but I wanted to be able to take some time with the menu. Next time I will use the drive through. Not really the management's fault (although they could be a little more insistent about masks, a little social pressure goes a long way). read more

Possibly the worst Mexican food we have ever had. Carnitas and Chile verde had absolutely no flavor. Chicken had a little going for it but even the beans were tasteless. The only condiment offered was single serving Tapatio so I guess if you like the flavor of tapatio for $10.50... everything served on styrofoam. Yuck! read more

Have been to this one multiple times and now to the one in Ely twice. This last time here there was hair in my wife's burrito. Not only that but the amount of ingredients they put in is about half the portion of the one in Ely. You would not guess they are the same restaurant. If you like smaller portions and a lot of lettuce come to this one. I however only come because of convenience while traveling. read more

We were at the Tesla super charger and thought we would walk to Taco Bell when we saw Roberto's sign. It's just a banner, no lights, so we almost missed it. Solid carne asada burrito on huge tortilla the way burritos are meant to be. Pico de gallo and seasoned beef. No fillers. I've been to several of the Rolberto's locations, this one many times. Food is always very good and consistent. However, when I went in on July 24, 2019 and after two people in front of me placed their orders, I stood at the counter for five minutes without any of the staff acknowledging that I was there. I will never step foot in this place again and they can shove their food where the sun doesn't shine. read more

We were very happy to find this place. Generous portions, good prices and fresh authentic food. We are Californians and it's hard to find a California Burrito in N. CA (that's a burritos with French fries inside for those of you who haven't frequented SoCal burrito stands) so finding one in Nevada was a win! The place was clean and staff were friendly and they made my burrito to order. I will post photos of some of our food! So the fries thing... we didn't see any tortilla chips but Fries abound and a nice salsa bar is self serve. read more

If your looking for what I call good 'San Diego style' Mexican food this is the place. But when I last lived in San Diego places like this where disappearing. So the salsa bar, guac and fountain drinks are all legit and of course the food is good (salsa needed) to great. Like 2 good and 15 great. One of the reason's I'm just know getting to this review is because they have pic's of the food. And anytime I have extra money I go here. For me this is the best go-to-Mexican food in Winnemucca. But truthfully this review is geared toward travelers, but feel free to try the others. I just found my style and it fits. Think of it like this...I've tried lots of denim pants and Levi's fit and feel right and all others don't. So did I grow into Levi's or where Levi's made for me. read more

I would characterize this as a dude taqueria. The burrito was super fresh, but it was 90% meat and not much else. The chili verde burrito is super tasty, one of the best I've ever had! Not a ton of meat, which is the way I like it. My hubby and I shared it and it was plenty of food. The chips are homemade and fantastic. The weak link here were the salsas. While they were all good, non stood out. Sorry to give this a dismal review. I have eaten here multiple times and usually get the chicken chimichanga. One time before it was barely average, but every other time it was well above average. Couple that with their great refried beans, I could tolerate one not so great chimi. Then a meal the other night ranked as one of the worst. The chimi barely had enough heat to melt the cheese and certainly wasn't deep fried. The chicken was without taste. The rice and beans were no where near their previous quality. I gave them two stars only because the toppings were relatively fresh. Guess they would be if there wasn't enough heat to wilt anything. The wife's carnitas burrito was a disappointment for her, especially with all the pre-hype I had generated for a 'great meal.' Think they have lost their normal cook. Better get him back or train up your new staff. Until then it'll be Taco Bell or elsewhere. Oh boy... read more

Can't say enough about this place. Stopped here three weeks ago on our way from Tahoe to Colorado and have been thinking about it for three weeks. Both times had the shrimp burrito which is probably the best I've had. The food is quality and a Super Value. Hubby had chile rellenos and chicken enchilada. He Loved both!! I always choose a place w a salsa bar - I'm a hot sauce/ salsa freak!! Xtra plus is that the service is friendly - and the place is SPOTLESS!! Can wait to come back!! read more

The person who took my order in the drive through was very rude and rushed me through my whole order even though there was no one else. While paying he gave me dirty looks and rushed giving me my food. I ordered the hot Cheetos fries and it was absolutely disgusting. There were a few hot Cheetos, and the fries were bland and not cooked right. The meat tasted very old and made me sick. The only good thing at this place is the drinks, everything else is gross.
