OMG! This place was so good. Cozy, great views for people watching, and very welcoming. I arrived famished after a hot yoga class and needed something light, but filling. This has been the best experience I have had with middle eastern food. The babaganoosh was superb - if I'd had room, I would have ordered a 2nd plate of it. This place used to be called Kobani. The name has changed, but the menu is pretty much the same. We had the falafel platter, dolmas, lamb and beef gyro and finally the baklava. All the food was very well mage, and very tasty. The staff is very sweet, and very much wants to please the customer. Well worth a visit. read more

Love this place! Im a vegetarian so I love to order their spicy veggie wrap, it is sooo freaking good! I brought my friends here a few times and they agree that this is a bomb spot to eat at. What a great first experience at Rojbas Grill in downtown Berkeley. I've been walking by this place almost daily for 2 years and never walked in because of the sheer abundance of places to eat in the area, but I wasted so much time! The customer service was impeccable, my friend and I commented on how the bakhlava looked delicious and the shop owner offered for us to try it for free and it completely lived up to the hype. I also ordered the vegetarian falafel wrap and it is perfectly seasoned and delicious. Overall wonderful experience and definitely will be going back to try more on the menu. read more

I can't find words to describe my experience at Rojbas Grill. Everyone is so friendly, serviced us with a smile on the face. Served us amazing food and dessert ( my favorite was the Kenafa) they made it fresh just for us. Then we were serviced tea with some delightful sweet compliment of the Owner. I really felt I was over seas and it was amazing experience. So head out for some Adana, salad and hummus and don't forget the sweet Kunafa for really Kurdish experience. read more

Found this little gem during a time of hunger and it was the best Greek food I've had. The service was impeccable, the host made sure we were comfortable even though they were slightly busy. I couldn't get two of them right in my own kitchen, but Rojbas Grill hit them perfectly and reproducibly. Affordable and the food was good. They helped explain a few items on the menu that we weren't familiar with and treated our 2 year old with patience and kindness. They were very sweet and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by hummus and pita (which we didn't order) while we waited for our food. The young server was super helpful and polite. The real reason for 5 stars was that one of the young men who worked there ran 2 blocks to give our child a toy that she had left at the restaurant. And it was rush hour! And the restaurant was busy and had customers! A+ for service and we would go back for no other reason than the guys there treated us very well and were very helpful and kind. It's not that they are a "kid friendly" establishment ... but they are friendly to kids. read more

I had the Greek Salad today but found it was drab, so added 3 falafel and a can of guava nectar and baklava. They didn't add a glass, so I drank out of a can. And the falafel were served on lettuce, with yogurt dressing (no humous). They added a glass of water and a pile of dry bread with nothing to dip it in.
