And my BBQ is pretty darn good. When it comes to eating out I have a rule that the place has to make something or do it in a way that is either cheaper than I can do or make better than I can make it. Hog Daddy's nails both of those points. My kids are quite picky eaters. They tend to gravitate to the typical 6-year-old habits of chicken strips and other fried foods. My girls were not pleased that I chose Hod Daddy's at first. Then they tried it and asked me to go back the next day and get more. The girls loved the pulled pork sandwich which they said "needed nothing else, it was so good." He even chopped up a 1/4 chicken leg for my twins that wanted chicken instead of port. That was not on the menu but he obliged as he saw I had my hands full with these picky girls. They loved the chicken sandwich! My wife and I got the Pulled Pork and Ribs platter. Between the two of us, we had Brunswick Stew, Potato Salad, and Baked Beans as sides. As you know, you can judge a place on it's stew. Hog Daddy did not disappoint. His Brunswick Stew was FIRST RATE. The pulled pork was top notch. Juicy and did not need sauce. The ribs were perfect. Fell off the bone and were also juicy and full of flavor. My wife and I were stuffed about half way through the platter. It was a TON of food at an amazing price. We stopped in the next day and picked up more food for the drive home. Stop in here if you are in the mood for BBQ you will love it. The kids will love it. This is some great BBQ. PS: I sampled the Chicken and Dumpling Soup. OMG if you have the opportunity to get some, do it.. you do not know what you are missing. I don't care if it is 95 degrees outside, this soup is worth it.
