This place was genuinely one of the best restaurants I've gotten food at. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in the door was the warm environment and the people there were incredibly sweet and they even sent us home with some extra fish cakes because we said we loved it. There's genuinely not a better place to get Korean food. read more

I left Osan Korea over 30 years ago. I remember the special care that the locals would put into the spicy vegetables and dishes. This little place is the best Korean restaurant I have been to since I left Osan. Much respect for the effort that they put into the dining experience. read more

We love coming here when we're in the area for Great Wolf Lodge. It's a great Korean restaurant, super authentic, with the nicest and most helpful folks on staff. They have the space (private and semi private rooms) to accommodate larger parties (came once with three families total including children, and another time with two families total again with multiple children). They were very attentive and helpful with advice about menu items for those with food allergies in our group too. The food is delicious and prices overall are much less expensive when compared to similar restaurants in Atlanta. read more

Authentic Korean food that was wonderful. We ordered Set A which was a variety of small plates centered around Kimchee Stew. Very good and there was a lot to take home also. My wife and I enjoyed a nice BBQ Bulgogi meal here. We drove an hour and a half each way to get there based on a guess that Korean food would be more authentic and available near the KIA plant. We appreciated and support the reviews that are already posted here. We were not disappointed. The food was very good. Our appetizer was a plate of potstickers served with a good sauce. We enjoyed spicy pork and beef Bulgogi with all of the kimchee dishes. The miso soup was good, the meat was hot, and the kimchee had a nice variety. We didn't have any dried anchovies, but we didn't ask either, so they may have that available. They were happy to provide lettuce leaves after we requested them (don't fail to ask for this with the bbq dishes.) We had them cook the meat. Our dishes were ~$15 apiece. We learned that if you wish to sit at the tables with bbqs and cook it yourself you must order one of the deluxe platters (~$25+ apiece.) We are happy to not bother with the cooking. Service was good but got worse when two large groups of Korean men came and absorbed their attention. The table areas and booths are all nice. The television runs Korean language programming (a golf related game show while we were there.) Overall a very nice experience with very good value. read more

We ordered the bibibimbap, tofu pot, and the seafood pancake. We were shorted on the appetizers because we should've gotten 3 sets of appetizers for 3 dinner dishes but they only gave us one. All the food items we ordered were really really bland. The service was good. We got our own little room in the restaurant and our own little buzzer to summon the waitress whenever we wanted. The restaurant was nearly empty when we were there and they had plenty of soju to go around. read more

Had a very good lunch today (midday on a Saturday). Nice to enter an ethnic restaurant and see several Korean expats from the nearby Kia plant eating there as well. Two in our group did the beef ribs, the other had kimchi. We all were happy and very satisfied with our meals. The guy with the kimchi said it was not too spicy (a minor disappointment) but still liked it. All meals came with a small pot of sticky rice. The rib dinners also came with a taro soup which was good, not overpowering. Food was delicious. Service was very good. Our waitress explained what things were and Korean way of eating in a very non judgemental way. Overall a very good lunch. read more

Recently, we visited Korean Bbq House and I added a star. The interior has been renovated and the quality of the food and service has improved. I was impressed with the upgrades. This is a Korean restaurant spawned by the KIA plant near West Point, GA. The building is vintage Pizza Hut that has been reconfigured. It is authentic and is usually packed with ethnic Koreans. The menu of Korean offerings is large and we usually travel quite a distance to come here, so that says much about its quality. We usually stay with the Bulgoki meal and get rice and all of the little dishes of 'stuff' that goes with Korean dining. I do miss not being able to order an OB Korean beer but the Koreans seem to go for the U.S. brands. Bud Light still works. Everyting is handled very casually. The Korean TV programs are interesting. read more

This is my new favorite spot. From the excellent service of the staff who were so kind to my ignorant self, to the delicious food that I couldn't pronounce, I had an amazing time. The atmosphere was exceptional. We had a private booth surrounded by rice paper walls, with authentic korean music that was actually not bad. It was even more amazing once o found the case of spoons on the tables. The side dishes brought with our appetizer, and having the staff describe each dish gave the impression i was given the royal treatment. Honey this queen will be back. We stopped here to eat while camping in the area. We ordered a meal served family style and it was fantastic! The short ribs were especially delicious, but there wasn't one thing we didn't like. The chef is excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the dining room was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend! Our kids even enjoyed it! read more

Love this place. First of all, they're making food for Koreans, so there is none of pan-Asian type restaurants that you get in Auburn. It's the real deal here. I've eaten here four or five times, and they've never disappointed. The staff seems used to non-Koreans coming in and being a bit skittish about Korean food, so they tend to recommend fairly bland items (like bi bim bop); if you let them know you're open for anything, you'll have a great meal. There is a spicy squid dish -- I think it's number 14 or 15 on the menu -- that is really tasty, and the kimchi pancake is wonderful. The banchan (the small side dishes served with Korean food) have always been really good and fresh as well. And they've been different each time. Try the Hite beer as well. Given the crappy state of dining in the area -- especially for ethnic food -- we in Auburn are really lucky to have this influx of Koreans nearby. read more

my family have been coming here since they opened several years ago. they like it here so whenever i came to visit they used to take me here. i probably been to this place like 20 times and all my experiences been very good here. the service is great. the food is good. and the price is reasonable. if u are comparing to places like atlanta, yes it's more expensive and if u are comparing the places like in san francisco, it's cheap as hell. overall, i can't say anything bad about this place. i like this place. their bbq short rib is very good. the soups are excellent here. the side dishes are fresh and generous. only thing i don't like is spicy tofu stew. it lacks flavor and it's not worth ordering here.... read more
