Pool boy is in the middle, to the left a Mocktail Paloma and to the right A good o'l Mai Thai that was amazing too.

Hands down one of the best bars I have ever gone to. The expertise level of the bartenders was exceptional and they were actually polite. I tried a couple but my favorite was the "pool boy" freaking amazing! They have actual good tequilas and mezcal that are note worthy and hard to find. Lots of space to sit and drink and or eat with lots of restaurants around the market place. They had the Broncos game on also. We can't wait to go back and try more drinks. Cheers.

Like the idea of a bar in the marketplace. What I don't like is being cheated. I ordered a 9 oz. wine and got shorted. When I questioned the bartender (with beard) he got snippy and asked if I wanted him to measure the pour. Yes, please. Turned out it was at least 2 oz. less than it should have been. I knew where the pour / fill line was as this was the second wine I had ordered that day. Attitude!!! The first couple of times I went here I had hit and miss with the bartenders. Some are good, but a few more have not been as good. The problem for all of us is if you want an adult drink at Edgewater, this is it. Recommend the management monitor their employees closer, emphasize doing the right thing, each and every time, to drop the attitude as soon as they clock in and remember, that people came to that bar to enhance their experience at Edgewater.

Roger's Liquid Oasis is definitely a great first stop when visiting Edgewater Public Marketplace. ++The Bloody Mary is AMAZING! Just a little kick, served up in the cutest glass, and lightly garnished. The perfect weekend brunch bevvie. Cheers!! Hubs sipped on a rotating local craft brew that hit the spot. ++ They offer up a rooftop bar featuring its own specialty cocktail menu for those ample sunny days here in Colorado! Hellooo! ++ At Roger's Liquid Oasis they even offer up a variety of bottled cocktails for those that want to take their tasty concoctions home for their more casual enjoyment. Love! ++ Have you heard of a "Walktail" Well I hadn't, but I have to say I kinda love it. This clever take on a cocktail is made to be portable for those wanting to browse the shops while sipping a little something special. Walktails are the perfect accessory for meandering about Edgewater Public Market. +/- While the prices are a little steep, you get what you pay for! They are truly artisans of their craft. So go ahead - treat yo'self! Roger's Liquid Oasis definitely offers up tasty concoctions for every type of palette and drinker. I know that I'll be stopping back by to get my adult bevvie fix next time I make my way to Edgewater Public Market. Cheers, Edgewater! **COVID Note: They have their COVID protocol down pat including social distanced seating, mask enforcement, and more.

I'm a huge fan of their sister bars (Brass Tacks and their DCM outpost) so it's not shocking whatsoever the team at Roger's Liquid Oasis crushes it every time. During COVID-19, there are restrictions and limitations in place when it comes to seating, ordering, etc. You know the drill by now. Edgewater Market has done a great job of implementing fun and safe workarounds. And Roger's should receive some of the praise, too. As always, the drinks are spot on. A detailed, thoughtful menu in place that transports you to a beachside, tropical oasis. Our most recent visit included a Dark n' Stormy and NY Fizz, while watching the Rockies. The fact you can order digitally from surrounding restaurants footsteps away only adds to the inclusive experience. If I hadn't made it clear, the staff crushes it every time. They work hard, efficient and at times, fast. The problem with being THE bar at the market means some people might not appreciate the process of creating craft cocktails from scratch. We saw a few people give up their place in line in a tizzy, because it was taking a while. Especially with everything going on now, please be patient. Places like Roger's care about their patrons and truly want them to have a great experience. They're slinging drinks, taking orders, bussing tables, delivering cocktails upstairs, etc. Be kind, be nice, and enjoy!

Roger's was great and who isn't happy in a Liquid Oasis? Ordering was elegantly simple, and hopefully, Roger's considers keeping this process on-board post pandemic. Scan or snap a pic of the QR code, choose your favorite cocktail (alcoholic and non alcoholic options available), add your payment and tip information. Easy peasy. We didn't wait long and the drinks arrived via friendly, masked up waiter with a smile I could sense under the mask, lol. Round two was also quick and easy and this time, we picked them up at the convenient window on the outside patio. Also easy peasy. We enjoyed the afternoon, our conversation and also socially distanced and minimized contact with staff. Perfect foe a pandemic. That aside, can't wait to come back and check out the rooftop patio, once the all clear is given.

All kids like pizza. 2. Some kids like beer. 3. Some kids like soda. I think Hops & Pie is great for kids and I see lots of them there whenever I visit. 08JAN2012 Why isn't it named "Hops and Mac"? As in Macaroni and Cheese and bacon, ham hocks, peas, IPA. Went on a Sunday afternoon (will I be happy when the Donkeys are no longer on TV) to drink beers and eat. Decided to "step outside the box" and ordered "Mac & Cheese" instead of pizza. This is the best M&C I have ever eaten in a restaurant and it will also make me step up my efforts at home. 18DEC2011 I arrive at 1347 which is 13 minutes before they open on a beautiful warm Sunday afternoon in Denver. There are people (shall we refer to them as "alcoholics"?) who are also waiting. When the door is unlocked (3 minutes early), 14 people rush in. At 1406, it is standing room only. What makes this place so popular? Could it be the Avery Brewing tasting flight? Rumpkin beer. Could it be the slice of the day: Cheeseburger? Could it be the excellent bartender service? Could it be the perfect bar atmosphere? Well, I won't tell. You need to visit for yourself. 05OCT2011 This time, we ate there. Excellent pizza. The staff kindly gave multiple reminders before closing. The Japanese rice lager (forgot the name) was amazing. So good, in fact, that they ran out on this particular evening. As posted throughout the bar, they have instituted a mandatory 18% service fee in lieu of tips. For better or worse, be aware of this. It means you don't need to tip. As far as I'm concerned, it didn't have a negative impact on the service from the bartenders.

A great option for young families on a warmer day…read more I stopped by Edgewater Beer Garden with some friends with the intention of enjoying a seemingly warmer Denver winter day, and we had no trouble finding seating on the patio. Maybe we were just brave, but with blankets and the outdoor heaters the space served well for a small get together. The inside, however, was PACKED. Was it something in the air that influenced every young family West of Denver to crave local brews and fried food options? Or is this just the typical crowd for this establishment? Either way, I don't believe myself to be the target market for this location. After a few hours, the children's birthday party and other large family gatherings occupying the warm interiors finally disappeared, and we were able to enjoy all the splendors of their heated former firehouse. The staff who was wandering the facilities to take empty trays and glasses from tables were exceptionally nice, the food options were as plentiful as the variety on tap, and the patio's ambience was exactly what we needed. Ticked all the boxes you'd expect of a suburban beer hall. Overall, not really my scene, as I don't have a golden doodle or a curious toddler, but if that sounds like an apt description for the company you keep, you'll enjoy this spot immensely.

There are moments when human beings believe they are on a quest for higher knowledge. And then…read morethere are moments when they are just heavy objects being pulled toward the earth by gravity, wanting nothing more than a chair, a cooked piece of dough, and a cold glass of beer to dull the edges of the evening. The remarkable thing is that the second quest often yields the greater joy. Five of us, all varying degrees of exhausted from a long day of sightseeing, stumbled into Odell Brewing's Sloan's Lake Brewhouse at the corner of 17th and Perry. We were not looking for a miracle. We were looking for a soft place to land. We ordered our dinner, then ventured up to the rooftop patio, which looks out over the lake. I'm told that when the entire surrounding landscape isn't engulfed in flames that you can clearly see the jagged spine of the Rocky Mountains from up there. It is a very fine place to sit while the planet rotates away from the sun. They have a second bar up there that is just as well stocked as the one on the main floor, and the space was filled with the pleasant, low-grade hum of people who were glad to be alive and not currently looking at a screen. The kitchen turns out scratch-made pizzas, so we ordered a Margherita and a Garden Harvest. You must understand something about the five of us: we come from Central and Northern New Jersey. In our part of the world, opinions about pizza are not casual preferences; they are inherited like family heirlooms or chronic joint pain. To say that a group of Jersey natives found these pizzas to be genuinely good is a small miracle of regional diplomacy. They weren't trying to imitate a New York slice. They were just honest, well-baked pies with fresh ingredients, which is an honorable thing for a pizza to be. Then there was the beer. According to their website, this location houses a 10-barrel pilot system where they brew experimental, small-batch R&D beers you can't get anywhere else. I believe them. The fruited sour we sampled was bright and lively, the sort of beer that makes you wonder why so many other breweries get the style completely wrong. The porter was equally memorable, rich, dark, and smooth, with deep roasted notes that made it far too easy to drink. It was a beautiful piece of liquid craftsmanship. The staff was fast and entirely devoid of the plastic, rehearsed cheer you so often find in corporate franchises. They brought things out before we had time to grow cranky, and they seemed genuinely glad we had wandered into their corner of Denver. We had expected a purely transactional exchange of money for calories before going to sleep. Instead, we got a rooftop at dusk, exceptional beer, and the sudden, sweet realization that the day had ended exactly as it should. People are strange, fragile creatures, but occasionally we stumble into the right table at the right time.
