The salsa bar it's fun! But sometimes some of the salsa seem a little bit old. May depend on what time you arrive? The molcajete is definitely the star of the show and I would highly recommend. The portions are very generous and it's a super fun dish. At other times we've ordered from the menu some more simpler options. The nice thing is it's super affordable, but I was less impressed by the quality of the food. So adjust your expectations a little bit depending on how much money you're investing into your meal.

The salsa was just right, favorable. The waiter came by and refilled the salsa bowl. We placed our orders. The meals were on the table in less than 10 minutes. The restaurant was very clean and decorated. The waiter came by a few times during the meal to see if everything was okay. Food: My wife ordered a simple salad bowl with chicken in it which she loved. Had to take some home. I ordered the Fajita Tulum with beef, chicken and shrimp. It came out sizzling. Plenty of meat. I had to take half of it home with 2 of the tortillas. Along with the fajita mix were refried beans, pico de gallos, guacamole, rice, and sour cream. This was very good. Which is a problem for me...when I return to a restaurant, having liked the first meal, I end up getting the same thing again. Cost: it was reasonable, given today's prices. Go back: Absolutely. We've been to a number of restaurants in Plover recently, including a few mexican style restaurants. I've placed this on the top of my "go to" restaurants in Plover.

A local friend had heard that their steaks are well renowned, but we opted for seafood to keep it light. Our Caprese Salad was so fresh and delicious. The calamari appetizer was decent, but I asked for parmesan for a richness factor. Out mushroom risotto was fabulous and massive for two to share. We found the service friendly and competent. Noise was a bit on the louder side once the restaurant became busy. All-in-all, we loved our dining experience here.

However when we got there that night we were told they were out of 2 or 3 of the items on our already limited menu. Needless to say I was not happy. The waitress was sweet but scattered. The bartender poured a good drink but was totally overwhelmed by the number of people in the restaurant. Staffing was a HUGE issue. No bus person to help with clearing dishes. The waitress had to serve drinks, take orders, serve appetizers, clear plates, serve main course in many trips to the kitchen. Total confusion. It was a mess. Totally understaffed. We were served a very Grey steak on a white plate with nothing else on it. Unappetizing! Then had to wait several minutes to get the side dishes, potatoes, sauces, mushrooms etc. not good. The steaks were a bit tough and totally unappetizing. Sad when your paying $79.00 for the Porterhouse. To give them some credit they discounted our dinner because they ran out of food that was on our menu. ( side note we had 6:00pm reservations that we made several weeks prior). I will not be returning any time soon.

The smell was OVERWHELMING! Then, down the bar sat a single wick candle with an equal amount of liquid wax. The smell was overpowering, almost like another odor was trying to be covered up? We got back to the dining room and yet another candle was burning. There were also many ambiance candles (BATTERY) shining through the area. My wife and I were overcome with the odor. We have driven past this place for over 15 years but since the buildings rear faces the road, it always looked closed. Our anniversary was coming up so decided to try it.
