There are several Mexican restaurants in the area, and we decided to go to this one due to a picky child and the fact that they had mini corn dogs on the menu. Big mistake. Definitely not authentic Mexican food. The flavor of the enchiladas was not pleasant, took two bites, and didn't finish the rest. Ate one of the tacos and left the other. The meat was flavorless. The chimichanga was average. The corn dogs were enjoyed. However, before ordering, child asked how many there were and was told 10. When they came out, there was 6. Child pointed this out to the server, who said "oh I just guessed." The other kid ordered the cheeseburger, she didn't like it, so her sister took it. She also did not like it. The ambiance was nice and decor festive.

Wholly enjoyable. While certainly not authentic Mexican it's delicious in it's own way anyway whether you call it Tex-Mex, Mexican-American or just plain delicious. Salsa's really good and is especially better when you ask for the picante salsas. Mnm I like to think you can judge a place by their tamale and this tamale was absolutely excellent. Fat and tender deliciousness, with a nice runny salsas. Yumn!! Went with the veggie fajitas and was so thankful the veggies weren't soaked in grease and were plentiful and of good variety instead of just onions and peppers. Nice touch with the slice of lemon too! Happy friendly service with but a slight language barrier ...but that's part of the fun, isn't it? Immersive, very good casual Mexi-American dining.

Joy riding on the interstate near Steven's Point, WI, when I started to get hungry and saw the beautiful lights on the exterior of this Mexican restaurant (Oopsy-daisy, I forgot to take a photo of the restaurant exterior). I asked the server his favorite dish (as per my norm) and he picked the El Zarape. It was so good and the portion was enough for 2 people. I decided to order some Horchata and it was frothy! Are there Horchata cows in Wisconsin?!? (Just kidding). Seriously though, it was fresh, smooth, and delicious! I thought that this was going to be just another Mexican food place but then I took my first bite and loved the entire experience! I ordered the flan to go and I'm eagerly anticipating my treat later tonight...

I was hesitant because of the reviews on Yelp however husband was craving for fish tacos like he was preggers. So we fought the snowstorm, walked in inches of snow to the establishment, just to order our food to go. Why? He didn't want people to judge him when he's devouring his tacos. So he says. The establishment was empty. There were a couple of girls, upset at their boyfriends, chugging on margaritas and flirting with the waiters. We ordered and waited less than 15 minutes for our food. Our order taker to the person that brought over our food was very nice. Even if our package was to go, they gave us tortilla chips and salsa too. That was so sweet of them. The food were abundant and I had left overs. Husband's fish tacos were amazing and flavorful. My chimichunga was under seasoned and the meat was a bit dry but I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was served with refried beans, Spanish rice, pico, and guac. The price is not bad either. Dinner for two was under $20. I would definitely visit this establishment again. No more Taco Bell.

wow - they moved across the street to a bigger nicer place!

The service here was amazing. I was greeted immediately, food was prompt, and a man and a woman (I assume the owners) checked on me multiple times. I even had a nice conversation with the gentleman about their horchata being homemade! Everyone was exceptionally kind, and I didn't feel awkward dining alone at all. As for the food, it was very yummy. I had a combo with a tostada, taco, and burrito, all of which were very satisfying. You're not going to get any crazy flavor combinations, but what you do get is solid Mexican comfort food. Highly recommend. Also, I would be wrong to not mention the drinks. I ordered a premium margarita (made with Patron!) and although it was a little sweet for me, it was very refreshing. For dessert I had their rum horchata, which was only $5 and tasted amazing! All in all I had two drinks, chips and salsa, and my combo, and only paid $25 (plus tip). Considering the amazing service and tasty food, you simply cannot beat this place. :)

After making my order, as a test, i laid down 2 dollar bills on the bar, and she grabbed them up with her fake nails before ringing up my order. The food is good, however, I have a low tolerance for street workers. I prefer to purchase my food from customer service oriented establishments.

I loved being able to mix and match three different proteins, then load them up with black beans and all the fresh toppings--basically the burrito bowl experience wrapped in warm flour tortillas. Each bite was hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. Pork carnival was my fav and brisket birria was ny 2nd fav. Service was quick, and the manager added a welcoming touch with their friendly vibe. I loved their fountain machine--you can get creative with mixes like cherry-lime Coca-Cola or grape Sprite. The restaurant itself was clean, the bathroom well-kept, and with plenty of parking, it's an easy go-to spot when you're craving a quick but delicious!

TO begin with, a worker came out from behind the cooking area, exclaiming she did not feel well and was going to the bathroom. Just before she entered the bathroom, she turned and looked at the 6 people standing in the lobby and explained, "Where the 'F" did all these people come from?" She then came back out a couple of minutes later to about 10 people standing in the lobby waiting for service. We should have probably left at this point, but she was apparently a manager and was not handling food, and we were hungry. From here, the swear words and cussing feast was on with everyone, but the drive-through lady, who was not participating. She was actually embarrassed by the antics that the other employees found totally acceptable. The manager and the meat-cutting guy were obviously having a beef, and the manager was also very frustrated with her work period. My two kids both got an education on how not to act in public and what language not to use. I love QDOBA, but I will not be coming back to this one.
