Fabulous food, fabulous service! Once you enter you are greeted with a smile! Attentive staff and kind to everyone. I keep seeing people give horrible reviews that include nothing factual. The world has become so divided that when they find out a business is against one political side or another, they come to help to give horrible and false reviews. I didn't know what I wanted so I asked the waitress if she could come back and she said "oh I'll forget" very rudely, I believe her name was Tina. Then we tried flagging her down multiple times and she would just ignore us. When we finally got our food, it just tasted alright. Plus the servers are NOT wearing their masks, not even the cook. We're still in a pandemic, mask up. But then again it is Clovis so it was expected. I won't be coming here again. Went to breakfast this morning at 6:30. It was nice, not to busy. Although our food was good, love the fries, we had to ask for coffee & water refills every time we were out. And I ordered a BLT and thought it odd that the lettuce was shredded?? Don't think I have had a BLT w/shredded lettuce. It kept falling out of sandwich. I will go again though. We decided to go out for a bite of breakfast and wanted someplace new. We stopped in and found a quaint lil hole in the wall with an old style grandmother decor. At first, we were not sure, there were lots of people and limited seating. But things went smoothly and the coffee was hot and plentiful and the food was good. Patty and I agreed this was a redo for sure. BTW, the Chicken Fried Steak was tender enough to cut with a fork. No need for the steak knife they supplied with the meal. read more

I really liked the food, however I did notice a lack of sanitation, I had not seen not one employee in a mask or wearing gloves nor a sanitizer station anywhere in the building, I did see though they had some dividers inbetween booths. It may have been because it was a bit busy at the time when I had been in but the gentleman who took our drink order messed up three different times and then never brought me my actual drink, three star seems appropriate however because I did enjoy the food and the decorative wall paper just needed to be a bit more hygienic, especially during this Covid pandemic. read more

Their baked goods seemed well made, but everything else was a waste. Their omelettes emulate crapes, very thin and wrapped like a tortilla. The veggies and ham in the omelette seemed raw and tossed in at the last second. I felt the "Homefries" were decent, but needed a bit more seasoning. If I were to go back I would order pancakes with bacon, no eggs anything else. As a side note, I noticed the one cook in the back had long hair and an extremely shaggy beard. He was sweating profusely and wasn't wearing a hair net OR a beard net, really put me off. I'm almost positive the nets are required by health and safety. We also waited about 15 mins to get sat, and no one welcomed us or told us how long it would be. Seemed when a table opened that was when they greeted the next guest. We then waited another 25 mins for our food, and the waitress only came back to ask if we wanted boxes. Although the service was friendly, I wouldn't go back. read more

I've been eating here for the past 30 years and normally their food is delicious. Their customer service however has plummeted and the political decor is WAY over the top. I'm even a republican and I feel like it's too much, even for Old Town Clovis. Keep it classy, represent our town well, and get rid of the political signage. My family and I went to RCS after church today. We were thrilled to find an open restaurant that was serving dine in. Not only that, but the employees were courteous, polite and very welcoming. The bus boy gave my husband some suggestions from the menu and was very knowledgeable of the menu items we asked questions about. Masks are optional and no one seemed to mind. It was nice to have a meal at a restaurant that allowed us to have the freedoms that we've lost these past few months. We had a good meal and enjoyed ourselves. If you've eaten at BJ's Kountry Kitchen, you will taste a very similar breakfast! However, the biscuits and gravy here are a notch about BJ's. Soft biscuits, creamy sausage gravy. YUM!!! We are so disappointed in the service at Rodeo.. ..Since Kelly left the waitresses they have now aren't personable and are lousy waitresses. There are 2 that have been there for awhile who can't seem to handle days that are busy. Rodeo Cafe is delicious local coffee shop to dine at! You get a good amount of food for the prices. Just know that this is a local, home-grown coffee shop. It is small, you get there early or you are going to wait. But it's all worth it!!! Yeah, sometimes they are going to have you sit at a table that has not been bussed, so that you are not awkwardly standing somewhere near the front, usually a busser is around rather quickly to clear it off! Rodeo Cafe is just an awesome local breakfast/lunch joint that has delicious food and the same sweet waitresses! The biscuits are really good. the pie is delicious. I have had the peanut butter one, the chocolate cream one as well as the blueberry. All are awesome. Service is super friendly and nice. I found a gem! Best place in town been there three times in one week! Twice in a weekend! So good! The breakfast potatoes and hash browns tasted like potato's!!!! Seen them peeling the big russets in the back! Potato salad good! Macaroni salad good! Club, burgers and omelette amazing! There is one more thing I have to try to make it my all time favorite! I grew up back East on hot roast beef sandwiches if it is as good as I think it will be then this will be my number one place in Fresno!
