We went for breakfast and by the end of the meal agreed we would come again. We went pretty early and noticed a line as it got busier but the crowd was getting seated pretty quickly. It has an open floor plan so it got a bit more loud by the time we were leaving. It was a solid breakfast and we left full. The rodeo potatoes were savory and had the perfect crunch and seasoning. The pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage combo plate was a reliable and filling choice. The menudo came with sides so you can flavor it how you prefer and we opted to add the pata (pigs foot) which made it very flavorful. The tortillas tasted fresh. The coffee was strong and consistently refilled by the helpful and pleasant waitstaff. A good overall Sunday morning breakfast option. read more

The food is absolutely delicious! The service was quick and friendly. My husband ordered the green chilaquiles. Having never tasted them before, he really enjoyed the flavor and the crispiness of the tortilla chips! His only request was for there to be more meat. If you're familiar with Rodeo Café, you probably know the iconic house-style spot on Etiwanda! Fortunately, they've opened several new locations in the area. It gets packed on the weekends specially on Sundays. There was a long line and you need to add your name on the waitlist. I noticed that other parties were getting seated prior to myself and friend. The three tables seated AFTER us were promptly waited on. We never saw our server, apparently we had the cloaking device on! Never will we bother with this lack luster, loud place. Met sister here for the first time as an approximate halfway point between Hemet Valley & Yorba Linda. I had corned beef & eggs w/ranch potatoes. Corned beef was cooked perfectly w/just the right amount of crispiness and potatoes seasoned & cooked to perfection .Sister & bro-in-law had chilaquiles and son had an sausage & cheese omelette. My first time here with my dad, boyfriend, & two little brothers celebrating Father's Day and it's a cute little spot. They had Father's Day balloons at every table which was really cute & festive. We were seated fast & after we took our order the food came out in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the waffle, two sausages, & house potatoes w/ og. Waffle & sausages were bomb but I was not expecting the potatoes to taste the way they did. It wasn't bad!! They were seasoned good but I'm not used to that type of seasoned potato (yes I'm picky). The food was excellent and every time we come the food is great. But they now charge for salsa and if you ordered Mexican food, they give you a little cup of it. Not enough to really enjoy it. And they only have one type. Really, you need a hot and mild and forget the charging. Or raise price by 5cents in order to enjoy it without paying. If it was up to my wife, I would have spent $10 extra. Only cause the small cup they come in isn't filled all the way, only half way. The people are very nice. read more

Hands down some of the best breakfast potatoes you could have! Chile verde omelet was delicious and flavorful, the green sauce could use a little spice but overall had a great flavor. Chili cheese omelette presentation could use some work. The chili flavor was delicious but if you're looking to taste any egg, it probably won't happen. Ordered tortillas as my side which paired perfectly. Service this time around was spot on as well. If this cafe remains consistent in this way, I'll be back for more. read more

Welcome to the newest restaurant to occupy the far corner of the shopping center. I wish it luck in outlasting it's predecessors. My family and I hit up this new spot Sunday morning after noticing it was no longer Dorys. I ordered the chilaquiles, my husband the chicken fried steak, and between our 3 oldest kids the 3 buttermilk pancakes, the kids half waffle meal, and the kids Mickey mouse pancake meal. My husband gobbled up his chicken fried steak, which he is usually very snobbish about, and stated it was delicious - but the biscuits and gravy unfortunately did not past muster and were declared dry and day old tasting. My chilaquiles was meh. The potatoes were not crispy, the beans were bland, and the verde sauce hardly carried any flavor. I may have been setting the bar too high but I was comparing it to the Rodeo Cafes dish in Norco and there was no comparison. ** side note I do not know if they are owned by the same people/just happen to have the same name** The kids meals were all good portions for my 5yo and 4yo but at $8.95 each I almost wish I had bought them the adult meals at only a buck or two more. In fact that's why I ordered the 3 pancakes for my 6yo because it was only a dollar more. Ordered hot chocolate at $3.95 each but I figured at that price it had to be the good stuff right? Nope, it was the packaged Swiss Miss tasting kind that probably cost 50 cents to make. Served so hot to my little kids that I had to take the ice out of my water to cool it down - most businesses when giving hot drinks to kids have the sense to make it "kid temperature" for safety reasons but all good I guess since I caught it before my kids scalded their tongues. Overall food and drinks gets a mid rating from me. The service was also hit and miss. We got seated within 5 minutes of walking in the door (good) but just to get our drink order taken was about 10 minutes into sitting (not good when you have lil kids). Our waiter was very nice but took off so fast after getting our drink order that we were not able to give our food order. Then when our drinks were delivered it was not by our waiter so again we had to wait for him to come back which took some time. Definitely need waiter assigned sections so they know if a table has been helped or not as it is a specific waiter responsibility and not a "group" of waiters responsibility. read more

I moved to this area almost a year ago and have been meaning to try this spot for sometime and it did not disappoint! My husband and I love to have breakfast dates so a few weeks ago we came to Rodeo Cafe! The service was great, the environment was warm and welcoming and the coffee was very delicious! I ordered the French toast it was great and my husband enjoyed the eggs Benedict! Menudo here is probably the best menudo I've had in the area. I was very surprised. Bowl was a good size too. My only complaint was that the service was very slow. Our waitress was super nice but it just felt like everything took forever. Anyway... come here. The food is super good. read more

The breakfast dishes are good. Lots of salt in the breakfast potatoes. Lunch menu is awful. My BLT was ick and mom's wouldn't eat her sandwich after one bite, it was so bad. Avoid the older waitress with dark hair, that is pulled back. She takes cigarette breaks while serving the food, so when your food arrives it reeks like cigarette smoke and the food absorbs the smell. Won't be going back. Also, parking is horrible. This location was better as an Original Joe's location. read more

I usually love Rodeo Café -- it's one of my favorite brunch spots! But my visit this past Sunday wasn't great. I found a hair in my orange juice, which was pretty gross, and then my sandwich wasn't made right either. When I told the waiter about the sandwich, he got rude and said I didn't specify my order -- but I definitely did. Luckily, one of the guys who was cleaning tables stepped in and helped fix everything. He was super kind and professional -- honestly, he made the situation better. I hope the café takes this as feedback, because I really do love coming here. read more
