I didn't even know this place existed. It's a little mom and pop shop downtown. Honestly, when I first walked in I was greeted and got sat immediately. The employees are great! Very friendly, super professional and the service was amazing. The food was just as great. I'm a big fan of Chilaquilles. I think this might be my new fave. The favor was all there. The chips weren't oily and the sauce wasn't drenched in. So it wasn't soggy. Which is so rare to find. Rodeo Potatoes we're great, it was a little salty for my moms liking but I liked it. The eggs Benedict was pretty good. The sauce wasn't salty or too rich. The rodeo mouse pancakes was super cute. I didn't even know it had a face on it until my niece showed me. But the pancake was so fluffy and very light. Stasted like cake. But honestly this place is really great. Portion size can feed two. Super shareable. We didn't even finish our food. The prices are good for the quality of food. The food was amazing and the service was awesome and big ups to the employees for making us feel so comfortable for being our first time. This place is so amazing! Huge portions! They were so nice and helpful and were able to accommodate my party of 9 even though they were so busy! I had the combo plate with waffles, eggs, sausage, and country potatoes. And it was just 12.95! There was so much food we could barely fit it on the table. It was a decently sized place with a country feel and they play country music while you eat from the radio. Our server was so nice and very attentive. Saturday morning breakfast was recommended & was not disappointed. A quick drive but slim on parking as the restaurant was packed! We parked in the dirt lot nearby and took the last table available. It was meant to be! Very cutely decorated with a total rodeo vibe including curtains & booths with cowboys and rodeo decor. The music was a Cool vibe too! I ordered the chillaquilles green style ( not listed on menu - 3 stars. Next time may order extra sauce but potatoes had a nice cilantro taste. The plate was plentiful. My hubby ordered the chili verde omelette and potatoes too. The chili verde had a delicious taste & 4 stars Coffee was plentiful at $7 for two cups Staff was a 5 star rating - cheerful, smiling & very helpful This restaurant is a jewel to the community and as the tables were full the entire time! Early during the week is the best time to visit any of the Rodeo locations. On the weekend it can get busy at times. We came on a Tuesday morning. We were greeted immediately and able to sit anywhere we wanted. There were only a couple of other groups there at 6:30 in the morning, including the SCE guys. The menu has so many breakfast selections. I picked the third thing I saw on the menu. It wasn't your typical, Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, pancakes, it was a tortilla Rodeo! Who cares if they didn't just call it a burrito, it was delicious! It's served with either hash browns or country potatoes. I went with the potatoes and it did not disappoint. The "burrito" had huge chunks of meat, tasty sauce and cheese melted on top. I would definitely get it again, although I would love to try something else on the menu. I ordered the Ribeye Steak & Eggs w/ Rodeo Potato's and a Biscuit w/Gravy. The portions were good. Certainly more than I could finish in one sitting. The steak was cooked to order (medium) and the eggs were over easy. The steak was flavorful. I'm not the type to use any steak sauce because I like the flavor of the meat. My disappointment came when the steak was barely warm and the eggs were cold. The gravy that accompanied the biscuit was lumpy and warm at best. Will I return again for breakfast? We'll see. I also got a small order of Menudo to go. This I'll have for lunch. So, I tried the Menudo that I purchased and I was equally disappointed with it. The Hominy was undercooked and the soup base was off. Perhaps if it had cooked longer that would have brought all the flavors together. I recently moved to Rialto and I had been having trouble finding a good authentic breakfast spot. Turns out this goldmine was right down the street. Amazing service and excellent food. The fried pancakes are incredible but the star of the show is the chilaquiles. You HAVE to try them. I'm not sure if the entire staff is family but it definitely feels that way. I love a family run place with lots of regulars and great food. The waits can be nuts on the weekends but show up before 9am and you'll be alright.
