Why my husband and I took so long to come here, I don't know. We approached the restaurant and were intimidated by the amount of people waiting outside. We decided to park on the street and try it out anyways. To our surprise we were seated right away, since we agreed to sit at the bar. Our waiter and the lady at the front door were extremely welcoming and their customer service was great. We could tell by the amount of people the cooks were talking to that they have a usual clientele. Which is very telling in and of itself. We ordered some onion rings, chilaquiles rojos and machaca scramble. The Machaca according to my husband was very delicious and he loved the potatoes. I must say that my chilaquiles were very tasty and the over easy eggs on top, my goodness. I would highly recommend their house potatoes, they were so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. This place is definitely a bit noisier than one is used to, but worth it. There's a constant hustle and bustle of the workers running around to get meals out in a timely fashion. It was very amusing to sit at the bar and watch the workers prepare our meals. Their attention to detail was very impressive and it was organized chaos to say the least. Came in for my daughter's 16th birthday. She loves breakfast time and foods. Came here because of great Yelp reviews. We got there at 630 am and we were welcomed and assisted almost right away. I completely forgot what the gentleman's name was but he has braces and was very nice. The restaurant has a cowboy feel which is cool. We ordered a waffle plate, eggs rodeo and a French toast plate. I didn't even know this place existed. It's a little mom and pop shop downtown. Honestly, when I first walked in I was greeted and got sat immediately. The employees are great! Very friendly, super professional and the service was amazing. The food was just as great. I'm a big fan of Chilaquilles. I think this might be my new fave. The favor was all there. The chips weren't oily and the sauce wasn't drenched in. So it wasn't soggy. Which is so rare to find. Rodeo Potatoes we're great, it was a little salty for my moms liking but I liked it. The eggs Benedict was pretty good. The sauce wasn't salty or too rich. The rodeo mouse pancakes was super cute. I didn't even know it had a face on it until my niece showed me. But the pancake was so fluffy and very light. Stasted like cake. But honestly this place is really great. Portion size can feed two. Super shareable. We didn't even finish our food. Early during the week is the best time to visit any of the Rodeo locations. On the weekend it can get busy at times. We came on a Tuesday morning. We were greeted immediately and able to sit anywhere we wanted. There were only a couple of other groups there at 6:30 in the morning, including the SCE guys. The menu has so many breakfast selections. I picked the third thing I saw on the menu. It wasn't your typical, Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, pancakes, it was a tortilla Rodeo! Who cares if they didn't just call it a burrito, it was delicious! It's served with either hash browns or country potatoes. I went with the potatoes and it did not disappoint. The "burrito" had huge chunks of meat, tasty sauce and cheese melted on top. I would definitely get it again, although I would love to try something else on the menu.
