From the first time we entered this restaurant we were pleased. They were a welcome group. We have been at least 8 or more times. So pleased. We ordered to go, and also ate at th e restaurant. This place is close to home so I decided why not give it a try . It's use to be an old Carrows back in the day so the inside still looks the same with some minor touches . The menu consists of breakfast, Mexican breakfast plates , lunch , and dinner . Which also incorporates some Mexican food. We had a server names Coco I believe was her name and she was so energetic. Talkative and welcoming she really made us feel at home . The food unfortunately was lacking flavor. Not sure if maybe just salt or something. But it wasn't bad but not great . We were seated pretty quickly for it being a weekend and a bit busy . I ate at Sammy's Cafe today and had the 3x3 breakfast for $19.99. Great value and definitely shareable. It came with 3 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, choice of country potatoes or hash browns, and choice of 1/2 order of chocolate chip pancake, banana French toast, strawberry waffle, and one other option. I really enjoyed the banana French toast. I ate it without syrup. The country potatoes were lightly seasoned, which I loved. My eggs, sausage, ham, and bacon were all cooked perfectly. I would definitely get this meal again but share it because I didn't even eat half of it. The service was really great. They sat us quickly and took our drink order right away. Not long after, they came back to take our order and our food was out within 10min. The inside of the restaurant could use a serious face lift. The seat cushioning is kinda warm and low to the ground but still ok to sit on. This place would be great if you needed to seat a large part because it's very spacious inside. I typically love this place and their buffalo chicken salad, but they said the wait was "30-45 minutes" when we signed in at first. Then after 30-45 minutes, I asked how long was left, we are told that we're next, a big party of about 10 walks in moments later. I ask again, she says it will be 20 minutes because they are barely eating, I'm so surprised and confused. My party of 6 left to go home and order take out for Mother's Day breakfast/ brunch at 10: 55 am. Had my plate of enchilada (brunch) a couple of days ago. Delicious beef, rice and beans still fresh on my pallet (much better than others I've tried). So is the menudo my wife ordered. One of the best if not the best I've tried in a while. Very comfortable at home feeling eating a meal. Staff were nice and warm. Often come around and checked on us. Much appreciated. If you are an early riser like me then this is the place to go to for breakfast . Dine in opens at 6:30 am. No long waits and get seated right away. Today is my BFF's bday so celebration time before going to work. We both had the Nick's Omelette with olives, tomatoes, cheese, potatoes, bacon bits topped with sour cream and avocado slices and a side of home fries and toasts. The Food is Great. needs salt or pepper for your liking. Small adjustments will make it the best diner in Rialto. We went for lunch, I had the pot roast melt with onion rings and iced tea. My mother did the senior cheese burger with onion rings and coffee. The pot roast melt is reminiscent of what was once Carrow's mile high pot roast melt the mild horse radish sauce ads a nice touch of beet the meat was moist with excellent flavor. The onion rings were beer battered but not fresh made . The senior cheese burger was overcooked dry and flavorless the tomato was under ripe the bun cold. Service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is little changed from its previous run as Carrow's. The outside is not appealing with weeds and overgrown plants the painted awnings do little for the look. I would go back. I would not order the burger but the in house cinnamon rolls looked excellent. read more

We came here for a women's luncheon on Tuesday and had a group of about 25 ladies! We had excellent service and the food was delicious! They serve breakfast all day and there were lots of meal options! Fresh made food and homemade ranch! What could be better?! Very dissatisfied. Food was not prepared correctly as ordered. Once it came out waitress noticed it was done correctly and she took it back to be prepared correctly and once it came back out it was barely warm like it was just sitting under the heat light. We have been here a few times and each time the staff has been friendly and the food really good. My husband enjoys the chefs salad and feels the half portion is generous, I like the senior burger with fries. The Mexican food options are also good, our friends tried and enjoyed the menudo. Went a couple days ago with my family and the price was good. I WANTED to get the banana French toast . When I ordered it the waitress said "I'll just have to charge you extra for the banana is that okay" I was like isn't it advertised on the menu as banana French toast why would you up charge for the banana ? I had breakfast there and ordered the sausage egg burrito grande with beans and potatoes on the side. I ate half of it because I was really hungry but it wasn't that great. I felt like something was off so I didn't finished it. The waiter was nice and was able to serve me in a timely manner. Few hours later my stomach felt off and I didn't eat anything for the rest of the day. I experienced some nausea and couldn't shake it off. Sorry for being graphic but by the end of the night I vomited and had the runs. My husband said I probably got food poisoning. I never experienced that but it couldn't had been anything else.
