You could see the heart and patience in every detail and line of frosting, making it such a beautiful centerpiece for the reception space. I'd happily recommend Simply Sweet Cakery and hope we share another wedding together soon.

One of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. AND I LOVE CHOCOLATE CAKE…read more The cake was incredibly well balanced. It's very easy to make frosting too sweet, but the sugar levels in everything was just right! The cake had a lovely crumb and was moist on the inside. There was a deep, dark chocolate flavor. Sometimes with chocolate cake, the cake can be too rich and fudgy, but this cake did not have this problem. It was such an addicting cake and I could not stop myself from continuing to eat it. Again, it was well balanced, flavorful, had a good mouthfeel, and not too sweet. PERFECTION! Additionally, the party was a space themed party so we asked for a space-themed cake and the cake was SO CUTE. If I need cake for an event again, I will definitely order from here. And I will definitely be ordering the chocolate cake again!!!

Do not order from this bakery. Her Yelp page makes it seem like she works at a shop, but she…read moreactually works from home. Communicating with her is incredibly difficult -- every question feels like pulling a toy from a puppy. I called to get updated pricing on a cake we discussed, and she suddenly quoted an outrageous $200 for a small cake feeding about 10 people, just because I wanted fresh strawberries. While searching, I accidentally called a second number she uses without realizing it was hers. She hung up on me, then texted me saying I "needed to find another bakery." As a young African American woman, the way she spoke to me felt dismissive and disrespectful -- like she assumed I didn't know any better. That experience made me extremely uncomfortable and completely turned me away from her business. Save yourself the headache -- do not order from this baker.

This review has been a long time coming. I have ordered cakes twice from Kymoto Co and each time I…read morehave been so happy with my order. To start the process, I emailed Kylie and let her know what I envisioned for my cakes with some pictures attached and the date I needed the cakes. Please note that you do have to order a month in advance. Kylie let me know that there is a minimum purchase of 2 cakes when ordering lunchbox cakes so I ordered 2. The actual cake is vanilla flavor and you have the option of choosing vanilla, strawberry, matcha, or cookies and cream for the buttercream filling. For my mom's birthday, I chose a light purple cake with a cute floral design and strawberry buttercream flavor ($40). The second cake for her birthday had Van Gogh's starry night with vanilla buttercream flavor ($45). For my birthday this year, I ordered a light pink cake with a floral design and matcha buttercream flavor ($45). My second lunchbox cake was light purple with an angel hello kitty design and cookies and cream buttercream filling ($50). It's really cool that you are able to customize your cakes, although it does get pricier as you add more details. The lunchbox cakes come in a circle shape and are the perfect size. There's enough cake to share with a couple people, but it's also not too much cake if you wanted to just enjoy it yourself. :) Once you are set on the details of your order and your pickup time, Kylie sends you your invoice. After that, all you have to do is show up at your designated time to the address provided. Kylie includes cake care instructions for you as well to ensure that your cake stays in good condition until you are ready to enjoy it. I have appreciated the quality of the cakes and I love supporting small businesses so I will definitely order again in the future. Thank you Kylie for your beautiful designs and attention to detail. Your cakes have brought a smile to my face each time and my loved ones have also enjoyed!

Ji was incredibly professional to work with, totally got what I wanted, and absolutely blew me away. The design was so beautiful and it turned out even better than what I expected. Everyone at the party was completely obsessed with how it looked, and my sister was so excited! It tasted amazing, too. It was insanely moist, had that perfect velvet texture, and the frosting was super creamy without being way too sweet. Everyone was asking where it was from, and we didn't even have a single piece left over. Huge thank you to Ji for making her day--I will definitely order from her again!

Best cake tasting experience!…read more We booked a $33 tasting experience a few months ago in preparation for our wedding. Website was very straightforward to book. You have 3 flavors and they give an extensive list of their flavors. We do love that the flavors are unique and very different from other bakeries around Orange County. We opted for the Red Velvet Cake Complimented with Cream Cheese Filling, Espresso Vanilla Cake Complimented with Tiramisu Filling, and Dark Rich Chocolate Fudge Cake Complimented with Chocolate Espresso Filling for our tasting. Upon arriving to our appointment, we found parking in front of the bakery. Its located right behind The Camp. The bakery showroom is very cute and cozy. We love the pink decor and the different cakes they have around the bakery to showcase the various types of wedding cake designs. We were greeted by Rodrick, who had graciously prepared our tastings in the form of mini cakes which we can take home to share the experience with our family. Rodrick was very informative on how the cakes are made and helped us understand how buttercream cakes are different than other types of cakes. The texture is light and not overly heavy like other cakes. The frosting is just the right amount of sweetness and not overly done. We also love how pet friendly the bakery is. We brought our little guy in a stroller and was greeted with so much love. We had the best cake tasting experience here and recommend it to any couples in the area who are looking for a wedding cake vendor.

The chocolate almond croissant was amazing, so perfectly raised with right amount of sweetness in the crisp dough. The ham & cheese croissant was a different story - it had the delicate delicious puffy croissant and inside was a perfect combination of cheese, ham and with a lovely mustard tang. It was so good.
