Hair with Henry aka Stephanie Henry is amazing. She has transformed my hair several times and always keeps my hair healthy. She is an expert at balayage and coloring in general. She always gets me to where I want to be with out damaging my hair. If you are looking for someone who can really transform your hair look no farther than here she is your girl! She also does my husband hair and he finally does not have to shave his head. He has major cowlick's and has never found someone who could cut his hair and make them not stand up and somehow she makes them not even noticeable. She truly is a miracle worker. LashBella , Teal TAX #1 She has charged me sales tax on exempt services! Heads up, only the products you buy and take out in hand are taxed at 8.25% She does not calculate that correct either, and it is higher. Services like facials, waxing....etc. are NOT TAXABLE services..she taxes everything. When I saw this I asked her to send me all my receipts so that SHE (how much money has she pocketed in erroneously charging sales tax?) or I could request a refund through the Comptrollers Office. She ignored me, so I called The Comptroller. The Comptrollers Office is contacting her about this after I reported it. She just ignores me. Fee #2 credit card processing fee: she charges the customer for this also! This is a deduction at 100% for her! And she charges her clients too! This is an expense businesses normally takes on. In my eyes this can be viewed as double dipping. EX: Charge the client the fee and then write it off 100% at the end of the year. Between these two unexpected charges she has stolen hundreds from me (refuses to pay me back) and if she does this to all her clients, thousands and thousands of dollars are paid by clients. She is either ignorant or taking us for ride. DEMAND A PRINT OUT of everything BEFORE YOU PAY because she thinks she can get away with this after you leave and discover this later. TRUST no-one! I informed her and she dismissed me multiple times. She refuses to reimburse the sales tax she charged me erroneously. I am hoping to save others this experience. More stories but please do not let her charge you sales tax on exempted services. read more

If you're considering coming to get your hair colored, I INSIST you don't come here. Their hair dresser; Claudia, is hands down the worst I've ever experienced. She didn't do a very good job with the 1st appointment, wanting to charge me $270 I let her know that I wasn't satisfied with the experience and she lowered it to $200 for convince because we had to schedule another. We decided on a day but she said she'll message me the time, she never message me back. The day we planned for was about 3 weeks out so I waited and message her the day before about the time and she responds by telling me the price of tomorrow's appointment, $150. I was confused about the price so when I asked her about it she never replied back. Next day comes and I called her twice. No answer, so I just went up there. She said she's had a "busy week" and wanted me to come back at 5. So I said ok then she messages me an hr later asking if we can push it to tomorrow instead... I call her to discuss the matter and her excuses included: Only having 1 car to use, needing to pick up kids, and not having the color in stock. I told her on the 1st appointment that I couldn't do any other day but the one we chose because I would be flying out afterwards and she didn't even care enough to ACTUALLY Schedule an Appointment and just winged it. The hair style she was paid to provide was a complete and total failure. I have been corresponding with her and she takes ZERO accountability for this disaster. I asked for a refund so that I may seek out a true hair professional to fix this mess - she has admittedly refused. Stating that she needs to pay her rent and light bill, etc. Her unprofessionalism is astounding. Once again COMPLETELY dismissing the fact that she ruined my hair. It is nothing less than fraud. DO NOT SEE TINA NELSON. My best friends mom recently went here to get a grey root touchup and she saw Tina Nelson in suite 28. Connie (best friends mom) was quoted at $70 for a root touch up. After Connie's roots were foiled and then removed and washed, Tina told her that not all of her roots had "taken" the color and that Connie should have had her roots bleached before they attempted the touchup. (Connie has never had her hair bleached and her usual hairdresser has never said she needed to bleach it before a root touchup.) Tina said she would have to use a highlighting brush of sorts to go over Connie's roots again and Connie said she would pay the difference. Connie thought Tina would just do the part that she missed but instead Tina did Connie's whole head of roots with the brush. Tina then charged Connie $190 (WITHOUT TIP) for the entire process. Connie paid and then texted Tina later that evening questioning the process because she didn't understand how it jumped from $70 to $190. Tina responded TEN DAYS later and said "I'm sorry but those are my prices." How the price started at $70 and ended at $190 is beyond me, especially when Tina is the hairdresser and should have known how much product to use in the first place. Also, if she felt that Connie needed to be "bleached" before then why didn't she suggest it before they started? And to wait 10 whole days before she responded? Complete lack of customer service and explanation. I wouldn't trust Tina with my hair or my money. Next time Connie will just be patient and wait for an opening with her usual hairdresser. Would give 0 starts for Tina if I could. read more

I have to say Shannon Honaker is awesome! I have been going to her since I was 12. I love the new salon she is in, its perfect. The experience is definatley different from any ordinary salon. When you walk in you'll notice everyone has their own personalized space, some stylist share rooms with only 2 others and they are all amazing people, but you must pay Shannon Honaker a visit. read more

Walk ins are welcome but during prime times appointments can be necessary. Everyone here is self employed and manages their own room under the watchful eye of Lisa. Also, Leslie did an outstanding job with my spray tan. She only uses the best products and her room is very clean due to the fact she sprays you in a tent. My sister was tricked into paying a $50 tip for her hair that was $100. This was her first time getting her hair dyed ever. She had worked very hard getting her hair healthy. Sabrina ruined her hair and made it seem like it was my sister's fault. She ripped her dead hair off with her FINGERNAILS, didn't wash it before she went straight to cutting. My sister has very fine, blonde hair. It was like straw when she was finished. Had I gone with her, this would have never happened. She bleached it, and should have been careful. It should have been treated. It's awful how someone can be manipulated when it's their first time. It was incredibly unprofessional. read more

MUST READ! In my opinion: Brittany Lancaster FRIED my hair. I spoke to this stylist about getting work done. She suggested Balayage. I was unfamiliar, but after doing research I did like the look. After she did my hair I was surprised at how light it was. When I got home I further examined it only to realize she had not only FRIED MY HAIR, but also left blotches everywhere. I immediately scheduled an appointment elsewhere to have it corrected. After going to a Balayage expert, I learned that foils shouldn't be used when practicing the Balayage technique( which Brittany did). I was also informed that because of how over processed my hair was from the treatment it would take a minimum of two further appointments to correct the damage. I ended up having to cut two inches of dead hair that day. After speaking to the salon owner I was informed that I couldn't get a refund because I didn't return to the salon and that I should have asked Brittany if she was trained in the technique. I assumed she was since she brought it up to me. The owner also informed me Brittany claimed she never said she knew how to do the technique. I am left with DAMAGED HAIR. I am appalled at the unprofessionalism shown by this salon, they have lost a customer. read more

Rockwall Salons has many different vendors in their building - DO NOT get a spray tan from them. They run groupons for this ocassionally and the person that does this, Denise, is not very good at giving a spray tan. First of all, it only took her like 5 minutes, she only sprays ONE coat on you, and she doesn't spray your feet OR hands! My legs were dark, my upper body wasn't anything really, you couldn't even see where my swimsuit strap had been.......don't waste your money people, and she is the only tech that does this at Rockwall Salons. About a week ago, I had an appointment for lash extensions. I was told to come with a clean face and no eye make-up, which I did. I was NOT told to not use moisturizer. I was not asked if I used moisturizer prior to my appointment, and there was no attempt made to clean my lashes before beginning the procedure. I was also not asked if I was allergic to cleaning products (which I'm not). The process took 2.5 hours, and I was absolutely still for the entire time. After a torturous 2.5 hours, when I heard and felt a lot of snipping on my eyelashes with scissors, I was told the lashes didn't stick because my lashes were too oily and my own lashes were too scarce. If I was not a candidate for lash extensions, I think I should have been told in advance, not after I was tortured for 2.5 hours and charged $140. I was also told she didn't clean the oil from my lashes because she was afraid I was allergic to cleaners. Well ask, and even saline solution would have removed the oil. When I looked in the mirror at the final result, I almost panicked. I look like a freak with lashes way too long, going in all directions, and what few that "stuck" all in the middle of my eyelids. They were also all one length without any tapering at each end of the eyelid, to create a natural look. Instead of accepting responsibility for a poorly done job, the provider kept blaming me for having oily and skimpy lashes. Her resolution was to book another appointment for two weeks later when she said she would "fix" the mess because she had another client waiting. At that point, I didn't argue. i just wanted to escape as quickly as possible. In the meantime, I had to go to a school reunion looking like a freak show, and my 9 year old granddaughter asked me to remove the eyelashes because, in her words, I looked scary with them on. I'm afraid to take them off because I suspect that I have NONE of my own lashes left, so I am between a rock and a hard place. I guess I'll find out soon (if I have any of my own lashes left), because these extensions are falling out in clumps daily. I now understand how victims of botched cosmetic surgery must feel. I'll chalk this up as one huge regret. What a waste of time and money! read more
