Went here on Saturday to get all over highlights which i desperately needed. New to the area (and Texas). So had no clue where to go. Sure didn't want to drive all the way to Dallas. Loved that Bliss takes online reservations through Yelp (and got me in on Saturday morning, making a reservation on Friday). Made it super convenient for me as I live for the internet and convenience as a working mom who commutes. Samantha was prompt & friendly; seemed like they had regulars coming through. They took everyone from little ones to older folks. It's not overly fancy but its got a rustic charm. She did a great job on my hair! Was exactly what I was looking for. Close to home to boot! Not to mention they are VERY reasonably priced. I am pretty sure I found my new salon. Thanks Samantha! read more

I Loved the way my hair turned out. Samantha did an awesome job. She was friendly and talked to me the entire time. I've been to several places in Kaufman/Terrell area and they were not friendly, they didn't talk to me (especially) Hair Addiction, they were very snobbish. Anyway BLISS HAIR STUDIO was Great! Samantha was great! The studio is decorated really cute and Samantha's Mom was also very nice and friendly. I just felt at home and welcome. So I give Bliss Hair Studio and these sweet ladies a BIG 5 STARS and I just schedule my next appointment. Woohoo! read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING AT BLISS HAIR STUDIO!!! December2016: So yet again Samantha let me down. She messaged me about making up for the horrid experience I had on my first try at an appointment with her so I agreed to give her another chance (as we all have bad days). We set an appointment up, right before thanksgiving to have my hair nice and done for my family gathering, I was so excited... until the day of my appointment when just a few hours before my appointment, she messaged me to cancel yet again (at least I got a message about her not being able to do it this time...) She said she was sick but would be back the next week. I assumed that meant she would get back with me when she was back at work. A couple weeks pass and I message her again asking what was going on and if I could still get in for her to make up for her unprofessionalism and canceling on me numerous times now. She said she would check her schedule and get back to me in the morning, which she never did. I finally messaged her again asking what was going on and she said it was just hard for her to find an opening for me, as she gets booked weeks in advance at the time I need to get an appointment. I let her know that I assumed since I had been trying to get in since July, with her canceling on me twice, and offering to make it up, that I would be a priority client... Apparently that is not how they do business at Bliss. Yet again, I am super aggravated and down right angry at the way that this salon chooses to allow their employees to treat their clients. No class, no professionalism, and not a single care about their clientele. Please consider this before trying to book with anyone at Bliss. This is not once, but 3 times in a row that I have had a horrible experience with one of their employees. JULY 2016: If there was less that one star, they would get it. Had an appointment with Samantha today, been booked for a couple of weeks for 1pm. Confirmed my appointment 3 different times beforehand. Showed up at 1:00, she told me that she was running about 30 minutes late. Which was fine, but would have loved a call to let me know, as she did have my number. So I come back at 1:30, she is doing someone else's hair and tells me it will be a little while longer (still no call to let me know). So I asked her to just call when she was ready for me, since I live close by. At 3:00, two hours after my scheduled and confirmed appointment, i call back to ask what is going on. She says she is still busy and just has a lot going on (still no call from her to let me know what is going on after planning my day around this appointment). I just said forget it. Very unprofessional, rude and just plain tacky of someone who claims to be a "professional" to treat a new client this way. I would highly recommend going somewhere else that actually values their clientele. read more
