I drove to Terrell to get a haircut here and Linsey was the stylist. She did a great job that compared to the stylist( Tiffany) I had used in the Hickory Creek salon before moving from the DFW area. I will return to the Terrell location even though I wished Canton had a Great Clips salon & Linsey worked there because she is from Edgewood also read more

Sharing this review on behalf of my mother who had an embarrasing and traumatic experience here today. She was intrested in getting a trim and once it became her turn was seated with the stylist. She observed that the stylist was attempting to use the same comb and scissors that was used on the previous customer. My mother said to her is she sanatizing these items before using them on her? The women then replied very rudely with "Excuse me?" My mom told her that she can see the previous persons hair on the comb and that she had a bad experience once so she just wants to be sure that the items will be cleaned properly. Then the women went on to try and use the same pair of scissors from the previous person and once again my mom asked her about it and she replied in the same "Excuse me?". She then sanitized her items but was clearly upset that she had been called out for this behavior. Once this was all over with she then began to comb my mothers hair and started picking at her scalp as to "inspect" it. At this moment in time my mom new that the women was going to claim she had lice. Sure enough she exclaimed "This is the second time this happened to me today!" She announced to the entire store that she thought my mom had lice. My mom instatly defended herself knowing that was not the case and that this women was just upset for what occured previously and was looking for a way out from cutting her hair. What are the odds that this lady would have supposely had 2 people in one day with "Lice". My mom knows her head is clean and free of any lice or eggs and if this was the case she would have never went to get her hair cut at an establishment!!! My mom decided after that she would not be proceeding with a haircut and asked for the womens name. She argued she is not allowed to give her name out, but eventually a co worker of her informed my mother that her name is Nicole, and she is the only full time stylist there. She would not give her last name or her cosmetology license number. After much back and forth she asked my mom to leave as if my mom wanted to stay in this place any longer with this woman and her imaginary lice!! My mother was left emabarresed, humiliated, and traumatized from the experience here. She called the number for corporate and was told the franchise owner would be reaching out. This person has yet to reach out. Great Clips needs to reach out and make this right with her considering what all she went through today for a simple haircut. Asking a stylist to do her job properly and sanitize equipment should not be the job of the customer. If you care about a clean and sanitzed enviroment we do not recommend this location. read more

Please don't take children. I have no idea why my parents thought it was a great place to take my son here. They have no patience!! I wanted a simple trim on top. The ignorant person who did his haircut went in with the clippers. Apparently she had no type of patience to do 5 simple snips on top. Keep in mind my son had absolutely beautiful big curly hair. Online says the wait time is 24 minutes. Currently been waiting in the car with my kids for my husband to get a haircut........ so far 50 minutes he's been inside and he's not in a chair. Got 4 cutters going and people are walking through the door straight to a seat. Had they said it would take and hour to get a 10 minute haircut we wouldn't have even checked in. At almost an hour of our afternoon invested we aren't leaving without that haircut.....but we won't be back that's for sure. First and LAST experience at "Great Clips". DON'T GO HERE!!!!! Wow, the worst hair cut I have had in years. They don t know the difference between a fade and a taper!!!!!! They said they did and then shaved off my son s sideburns way above the ears!!!!! I said I wasn t happy but got to pay for it anyway. My haircut was even worse because they refused to clip around the ears and the hair is still long. I asked her twice to do it but still got long hair and need to go somewhere else to have them finish my haircut. I never asked to have the sideburn shaved off. What is wrong with you people???? read more
