Walked in today and got in the chair as soon as I asked if there was someone free to work on me. I showed a photo I found online and asked if she could get as close as she could to the photo and I think she did a amazing job on me. Totally worth the money, I mean places like Ogel you do pay for students who don't always know what they are doing. Really clean Salon, super nice people who work there and reasonably priced. Here I am, on my quest for my Dallas area colorist. I'm new to the area and this is my least favorite part of moving - finding new service providers! Well, I hit a home run, first try with my stylist at this salon. Chrissy was awesome. She provided great consultation before we began and throughout the appointment over and above my color. I had something in mind for a cut/style and she walked me through what it would look like to have that cut/style, giving me all kinds of clarity about what I thought would be a good idea. After talking with her, we made a different decision together and I'm so grateful. And her colorist skills? Awesome. When I say my base color is perfect after my first visit with her, I'm not kidding. I LOVE it. Y'all, if you need a colorist, GO TO CHRISSY! She did things with my hair that I did not think were possible. She is the best stylist I have ever had in over 30 years of getting my hair colored plus super nice. I arrived early to my 12 PM appointment only to be pretty much ignored for 25 minutes. My stylist Jasmine never came to let me know that she was running behind due to taking in a walk-in. After the lady before me paid, Jasmine let me know she'd be right with me but needed to clean up quick. I get in her chair, & we go over what I wanted. 2 French braids. When I made the appointment, the lady on the phone had confirmed that the stylist was able to do it with no problem... She starts off by using a brush that had clearly been used before on another client, which I'm not expecting a BRAND new brush but a clean one for each client should be protocol. Especially with head lice & such. She then starts braiding & each side took about 3 attempts. She didn't show me the back & frankly, she didn't seem to be in the best of moods as she just quickly took off the smock & turned the chair. I went to the counter & paid the $35 & left. I got home & with my own mirror, I inspected the braids. Lopsided, uneven, loose braids. I called the Salon to speak to the manager about it & she informed me that she was with a client & would call me back. I waited about two hours & decided to call back 10 minutes before they closed since they wouldn't be open again till Tuesday, only to be told that she was still with her client & would call me as soon as she was done. It's 7PM & I normally don't leave reviews but this was one I felt I needed to leave. Poor customer service. Sad because I've been here a few times & no issues with my other stylist. Sadly I'll be looking for another salon. read more

I had long long hair that I haven't been brave enough to cut in 10 years (except for trims) and Chrissy did a great job of making me comfortable and confident that it was going to look great. My appointment started right on time and took 45 minutes for a wash, cut, blow dry, and styling. I will definitely be back! read more

I have gone to Kim for over ten years. I always get loads of compliments on my color and cuts. Her new salon is wonderful. Clean, top notch stylists, up on latest trends, very professional staff. Years ago I was referred to Kim after a horrible haircut. She was very understanding and professional, fixing the cut so I could go out in public without a cap on my head. Since then, I have never gone to another hairdresser. She only employees the best and most qualified stylists. You can have complete confidence in anyone there. read more

I came in for a major hair cut last week. (9-10 inches) I came in to see Rebecca and she did a great job giving me a Long Bob, washed and styled it great. A couple days later after the initial cut I put my hair in a ponytail for work and I noticed wild strands that were longer than the rest. Nothing major to be upset about but when I messaged Rebecca to see if she could fix whatever else needed trimming she WENT OFF! she said it was annoying to tell her about any meaningless mistakes and that they were annoying. I told her I just needed another look at it and possibly another trim to even it out..again no big deal. She went on to say she didn't want me in her chair again and that I'm a b#### for "complaining." All over a bit of criticism that my hair has longer strands where there shouldn't have been. I'm not shunning the salon just the stylist. She has a childish attitude if you give her anything other than POSITIVE COMPLIMENTS...sometimes a haircut isn't perfect and that's okay! But the attitude from the stylist over how it's annoying to complain shouldn't be. Just saying. I read more

EXCELLENT salon overall!! I moved to Rockwall from another city this past summer. I left a great stylist with whom I was very comfortable with. I was so VERY scared about finding a new stylist in such a big city with many salons to choose from. I called and spoke to Kim and expressed my fears and she took me in under her wing and has taken good care of both me and my hair from day one. Kim always does an outstanding job on my hair as I have extensions. She always does it to my exact specifications. Great stylist!! The other stylist there also do excellent work. I am in the salon at least once to twice a week, either getting my hair styled or getting my lash extensions done so I get to see all the amazing cuts and colors that walk out the door with smiling faces. Valerie does my lash extensions and she does outstanding lashes! I never thought I was a lashes girl until I got my first set and I've been hooked ever since!
