My hair person was out of town over a month, I get my hair cut every three weeks, she was able to get me in quickly, and I LOVE my haircut!!! Definitely will be back read more

Wicked Pixie is wicked awesome! Janette is amazing! She works fast yet takes the time to listen to what you are wanting and needing. I moved here two years ago and I honestly haven't been as satisfied with a pixie cut as I was when she cut it. I am so glad I found her! I felt like she understood what I was looking for and she delivered. Her energy was fun and warm, I love that! Planning on a cut and color next month! Very excited! read more

Janette did great work! I went in not really knowing what I was wanting but knew I wanted to make some changes. She helped me sort through pictures, decide what would be right for my face and hair texture and we came up with a plan together. Love my hair and feel so beautiful! read more

She should take down her ad; I called and left a request with no response. I then texted and she politely responded (24 hours later) she was not accepting new clients. read more

Awesome hair stylist with a cute, stylish salon, it's your very own private client experience. It's centrally located and convenient. Love my hair, get compliments and I'm picky. She has mastered my hair and consistently leave with the same experience, looking and feeling great!!! Love and recommend her! read more

$$$$$$$ While the hairdresser/owner is personable and her shop had cute atmosphere, haircut , style, and color was just okay due to 166.00 price tag. This price warrants a perfect haircut and color. However she left a longer swatch on right side, weird!!!Do I wanna go back for correction??? NO!!Too expensive for short hair. Very shocked at price. When price is so high I feel tipping is not necessary. read more

Janette is the best hands down! After moving to AZ from MD it took me 4 years to find a stylist who is able to cut my short hair just the way I like it and Janette is the one. I'm so grateful I found her. She completely gives attention to my needs and does a fabulous job. She is not only my all time favorite hair stylist, but one of my all time favorite people. It's such a joy to have my hair done and to visit Janette. I always feel good inside and out after my trip to Wicked Pixie Salon :) read more

Janette was AWESOME! I went online to book an appt. and saw she was 2+ weeks out, but my roots were showing badly and I have a job interview this week. Janette quickly texted me and offered to come in early at 7am on a Monday (the only time I could come in was Monday morning) for me! Keep in mind I have never been to her before. She was really knowledgeable about hair and even offered up some learning things for me to help my hair hold the color and proper hair care techniques. My hair came out looking so beautiful and healthy! She did a fantastic job. I booked my second appt. while my color was processing. read more

I have to say, I've been searching for someone who can handle my blonde part curly, part frizzy, since I've been in Az! To tell you the truth, I've tried high end to groupons for a couple of years now. After reading Janette's experience, I had to check it out. Besides, I was going drastically different than what I've had in the past, so a little hesitant to say he least. I had sent Janette a couple of pics that I was interested in and she didn't jump through the phone and say "oh yeah, I can do that and it will be perfect on you!" So I automatically thought, great, not just out to get $ and over promise something she may not be able to deliver. Score! Our first appt was great! She explained why we had to do this in 2 steps since I was super curly and would hate it when I couldn't straighten the little hair that would be left if we went that short right away. Needless to say, she did a wonderful job on my unruly hair and we made another appt for phase two. I left feeling and looking awesome! Phase 2: Returned after my first cut/color. Now to deal with my crazy frizzy curls and finish my cut. It's a process that takes some work, Janette did amazing! I'm impressed with how great it looks and the compliments I've received since! Thank you Janette for transforming me into a Cosmo cover girl! Thanks to my bro in law. read more

Janette just happened to have an appointment available for a free consultation to discuss my hair and luckily I was able to get a cut same day. I was in a place where I was hating my hair and she has helped me love it again. I absolutely love my new cut! I showed her what I was looking for with pictures as examples and what I got was even better. She even took the time to walk me through the styling process so I can do it myself at home. She's lovely to talk to which makes it easy to come back again! Thank you Janette! read more

I was wanting some change with my hair as it's starting to get closer to summer, so when I saw the groupon for highlights and a haircut at Wicked Pixie I decided to try it out. It was my first time going there, but I made an appointment with Janette and she was very friendly. When I went in she listened to everything I wanted and looked at pictures I had brought from Pinterest. She only trimmed two inches like I had wanted her to since I was wanting to keep my hair long, and she gave me beautiful ombré highlights. She took her time and made sure everything looked good. When I got home I found one spot where the color hadn't lifted- she had given me a nice follow up text so I sent her a picture of the spot I found. She immediately scheduled me to come in the following week and fixed it free of charge! She did an amazing job and I'm so happy I went in. I posted a picture of the results. read more

I have always had super curly, dry frizzy hair and have never been able to find a good way to manage it. I went to Janette looking for the best advice for a solution to my unhealthy hair and she suggested a Brazilian blowout. It was the best hair decision I have ever made! Finally my hair is soft and smooth just the way I've always wanted it to be. Normally after being washed it is a long process to dry and style my hair to just get it to look ok. Now I just washed my hair with the Brazilian blowout shampoo and conditioner, and used the sealer (all which were included in the service price) and my hair is soft with just a little wave. I truly couldn't be happier with the results. read more

I get my hair cut here every month, and Janette is the best. Great haircut, fair price, and great conversation. I highly recommend Wicked Pixie and Janette! read more

I'm completely hesitant to go to hair salons- I've had so many bad experiences in the past and it seems a waste to spend so much time and energy on something if you really don't love it. I looked at the reviews for Janette and was impressed, not only that but I found a groupon so I thought I would give her a try and see how I liked it. I also picked her because her hours are super flexible which is what I need working M-F 7am-6pm. Making appointments was super easy-I called but she didn't answer but the answering machine said to shoot her a text. She replied a couple hours later, so it was nice we didn't have to play phone tag. I was a little early on the appointment day because traffic from work wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but she was ready and we were able to get started early. She listened to what I want, gave advice and started. She was easy and fun to talk to- another issue I frequently encounter at hair salons is feeling forced conversation, but I didn't feel that here. Janette was very helpful and I got what I wanted which was natural looking blonde highlights. Very pleased and comfortable with her, so rebooked a touch up before I left. She was wonderful! read more

Janette is SUPER sweet! I was nervous to go to a salon and have a stranger cut my hair. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and she did exactly that. She definitely makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. She is worth the wait too. Janette gets booked up pretty fast but I highly suggest her for anyone that is looking for an awesome hairdresser. She also worked so well with my busy schedule and made sure I could get in for a haircut. I am also going to try her dry shampoo recommendations! I can't wait to go back :) read more

I had the best experience with Janette! She is so sweet, has the cutest salon studio and listens to what you want! I was switching hair stylist and I've always been so scared to trust anyone with my hair from prior experiences before and she exceeded all expectations. I got a color/cut and extensions to add fullness and I couldn't be happier with it. Will be seeing her only! Would definitely recommend her! read more

I found Janette via a Groupon/Living Social a few years ago and I have been going to her ever since. Now, my 5 year old goes to her. We don't want to go anywhere else. Janette listens to my wants and needs, we discuss, and I never doubt the results. read more

Megan at Wicked Pixie was fabulous. She listened carefully and added her advice/expertise where needed. She's got an upbeat personality and seemed really focused on me and the job at hand. I left there with hair that looked 100% healthier (full of shine and movement) than when I walked in. She was very conscientious about setting the appointment, getting started on time, getting me out of there on schedule and choosing the best color for my tired hair. Best yet, the price was right and she advised me on hair care products, but didn't push too hard. I wasn't dead broke when I left! Worth the drive. Thank you. Megan. read more

Not only will her recommendations be spot on, she will also explain if a particular color will need extra care to maintain. On multiple occasions I've walked in with little more than some pictures and Janette has been able to recreate what I wanted flawlessly. Janette has been my stylist for about one year and I absolutely adore her skills and studio; I am so thankful I found this gem in the east valley! Just got back from my first hair cut in years with Janette. She is fantastic! Janette took time to listen to my story about my hair, offered feedback and did EXACTLY as she said she would. Meeting a person who has integrity, who's words match her actions is an honor. I will recommend her skills and exceptional customer service to everyone I meet. Love, love my hair! This review is long overdue. I have been Janette's client for almost 3 years and I couldn't be happier! For the first time in over 20 years, I can honestly say I LOVE MY HAIR, I love the feel, the color and the styling options. It took me 10 years to find a stylist in the Valley. I just love her as a stylist and a person. She has impeccable taste, she is honest and truly has her client's interest at heart. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and will recommend realistic options that will work for your hair type, color, age, etc. She is also very clear on expectations (some looks may require multiple sessions to process appropriately). I started taking my kids soon after (ages 10, 12). My girls just love her too and look forward to their sessions with Janette. Her prices are VERY reasonable, considering the quality of service and products she uses. I have paid more in the past for "meh"and even "yuck" results. read more

Megan is so amazing and I love what she did with my hair. I came to her with an idea and she made it even better than I could have predicted. I have been blonde my entire life and today we went from blonde sombre to dark red hair and I have received so many compliments from everyone and zero negatives. She also took time to talk to me and see what I was really looking for and made me feel welcomed and comfortable like I was a friend and I love how personable she was even when Janette came in she made me feel like I was a regular. As anyone who knows me I am very particular about my hair and how it looks and with having so many bad color jobs and bad hair experiences I'm always an interrogator and ask billions of questions but she took it like a champ and was honest and real with me and I appreciate that. She also fit me in on a day she originally had off for moving but she came in because I was leaving for a couple of weeks and needed it done I will definitely recommend Megan to everyone I know and we will have many hair coloring and hair cutting sessions together. Love Megan! She listens to what I want but will totally step in if I'm asking for something that won't look good. She's so awesome and hilarious and totally makes the time fly by when I'm there. I had my first appointment with Janette last night at Wicked Pixie! I called and left a message, and Janette called me back quickly to schedule my appointment. She is very flexible and scheduled me for the next afternoon. As a breastfeeding mother to a newborn, it's pretty difficult to find a salon and stylist that will accommodate me. She made me feel very comfortable and welcomed! I've been a highlighted blonde for a long time, and she got the color spot on! She spent over 3 hours perfecting my color and cut. I felt like she really took her time, unlike some of the other stylist I've visited in the valley. My experiences here in the valley have never led me to set up my next appointment, but with Janette I've already scheduled my next appointment. Her prices are extremely affordable. The color, cut, and service was better than the expensive salons in the valley. You will not be disappointed when you schedule with Janette! read more

I would highly recommend Janette to anyone looking for a talented hair stylist that really listens to her clients! I have had some hair loss and was feeling down about that as well as the overall condition of my hair. She did a cut and style that looked great and made me feel so much better about the condition of my hair. She was patient and even took time to explain and show me how to do the style myself. She was professional, patient, and really did a great job! I will definitely be returning and am happy to say I found my new go-to stylist! read more
