After desperately needing to get a haircut, I called and explained that I had super thick hair and needed someone who was really good at cutting. I explained that I liked my hair thinned out a lot.. like a lot and some stylist are too scared to thin it out. I also preferred for my hair to point cut as it helps my layers lay better for my hair texture. The receptionist said she knew exactly who to book me with. I was booked an appointment with Graci for a few days later. Graci did an amazing job on my hair! She listened to what I wanted and gave me just that. In my 4 years of living in Texas, I am so glad I finally found someone to cut my hair just how I like it. She said only likes to thin hair if someone asks for it as she knows not everyone does. I wish there was an option for zero star. I usually dont leave reviews for places even if they do something wrong or bad but i gave this salon many tries thinking i might get good quality service atleast once because its just 5 minutes away from my home. I had hair cut from there 2-3 times and color twice. All times i had terrible results. I swore everytime I will not come here again but due to availability or some other issue i had to try it again. Last highlights i had she did i dont know what. Darkened my highlights so much then she shampooed my hair like 10 times to make the color lighter which ruined my hair. Next time other person she did my highlights too light and when i told her she ignored. One time i had a hair cut from there and my hair were so uneven , i couldnt get appointment to go there again to fix them so i went to walmart instead and when she saw she said did your husband or someone at home cut your hair? What happened to them? Then recently last week i went again for my and my daughters hair cut. She made my hair length quite short than what i asked for. But i said its ok they will grow out. And my daughters hair she cut them uneven. I noticed next day and i called them and she said to bring her again so she can fix them. I said ok but i didnt go because i fixed them myself in like 5 minutes. And i paid full price my daughters hair cut who is 9. They r overly priced for way below quality service . And this time i swore even if i have to cut and dye my hair at home i will not go to touch up salon ever in my life again. One time mistake, two times mistake u can ignore but every single time that i went there in last 6 years i had awful experience. read more

Crystal is sweet and works fast but knows what she's doing. I cut about 8" off of my "Summer" hair and got face framing highlights. Please for the love of god do not get your hair cut here. I do not know how the stylist got her license but my gorgeous waist long hair was butchered. I am in literal tears and keep my hair in a bun every day until my appointment at a different salon because I cannot bear to look at it. My hair is now shorter than it has been in the longest time after asking for a TRIM, lopsided, and uneven. Take your business elsewhere if you care at all about your hair. read more

Angela does an amazing job, but honestly all the girls there at great colorists. The salon is nicely kept and they are very friendly.

Had a consultation appointment with a stylist. As we were discussing my concerns about previous cuts and styles I've had by different stylists, the owner came over and became involved in the discussion. So glad she did! With the cut I wanted and the type of hair I have, she recommended a different more experienced stylist (as the one I was consulting with was a junior, less experienced stylist). Mitsy was absolutely wonderful!! Gave me a cut I would not have chosen myself and I love it, went a color I have never been (blonde) and love it!! This was the first time in YEARS that I cried happy tears after a haircut. Definitely recommend Tammy and her staff at this cute, quaint salon!! read more

My sister and my daughter also see Tammi and sometimes another of her staff. I regularly have a trim and color. I was so excited to finally get my hair colored from a pro after years of doing it myself! I had corresponded with the stylist about what I wanted, sent pics, etc. showed up to my 9:00 appointment. Did NOT get a warm welcome. It was my first time in the salon and they just looked at me like who are you?!? I waited 15 minutes for my stylist, who could have contacted me to tell me she was running late and finally decided I had waited long enough and walked out. No one said a word to me as I left. I won't be going back. Very disappointed. I guess "appointments" are more like a "suggested" time slot? read more

This place receives zero stars from me. I made an appointment for my 91 year old grandmother who has bad back arthritis. When we arrived the stylist, Mitsy, was not ready and said it would be a few moments. No problem. Thirty minutes later she was still not ready and was not showing any signs of concern about it either. I asked another employee if she knew how long it would be. She tossed her hands up and said I am not Mitsy so I do not know, Mitsy is over there. Mitsy, paid no attention and continued to talk, previous clients hair was done, they were chatting. When we finally walked out almost 45 minutes later, no one even batted an eye. The woman who I asked about the time, also complained openly that she had only two clients that day, with service like this, is it a wonder why? I generally do not review on things, but this was deserving! Debbie over at Forney Salon Suites #10 did an over the top job and was incredibly kind and caring. read more
