VALARIE DOUCEN in ROOM 19 has been doing my hair for over 20 years. I started with her when she was in Mesquite and have followed her where ever she goes. She is very professional and knows the business well. She is excellent with colors and keeps up with the latest styles. I have even been in the chair having my hair done when customers have walked in to see her to help fix a hair color gone wrong by another hairstylist. She is always willing to help and go the extra mile when it comes to her customers. I book my appointments 1 year in advance, because I want to make sure I can always get my hair done. Through snow, ice, rain and the summer heat, I have my hair cut or colored every three weeks. I drive 80 miles round trip. I have told my husband if Valarie moves out of state, I will be traveling further to get my hair done. You cannot go wrong by going directly to the expert instead of trying to go somewhere cheap. I needed a hair cut so decided to go into Forney Salon Suites to get a referral. They were very nice and introduced me to Mary McAdams. I asked them about her credentials and if she was good with my style of hair. They were obviously honest because I have been using Mary for over a year and always walk away loving her work. There is also a quaint boutique in the front which has cool clothing and jewelry items. Hair salons are a very competitive business and as Forney grows so do the little pop up hair salons. I'm sure those are fine but I'm a fan of the invested business that puts money in the building and people. Forney Salon Suites is invested in this community to bring it big city amenities with a small town personal touch. Give it a try in my opinion, I think you'll be pleased. read more

I go to Forney Salon Suites to see Violet - she is by far the best stylist I've ever had! I leave there every time feeling better than expected. She goes above and beyond to be sure that I'm happy with my hair, and most importantly, she takes the time to get to know her clients and what they like! She does awesome with fashion colors.
