Although I was definitely a bit nervous about how they would turn out without seeing a sample of his idea, he looked at me and said "Trust me, they're gonna look terrific- you have to trust me on this." He was right! Had a problem with the frame day after purchase and they were SO cool about trying to get it fixed. Cool, friendly guys who know what they are doing. Highly recommend them. Given that these are sports goggles and we are in the middle of sports season, this information would have been important to know upfront. On Tuesday, I called after being told that the lenses had arrived. I was told someone would call me the next day when the goggles were ready. Wednesday came and went with no call. By Friday, still no call, so I called because I actually need the goggles for the season. Unfortunately, the customer service during that call was incredibly rude and unhelpful. The employee put me on hold for more than five minutes, then came back and asked, essentially, "Are you sure you're calling the right place?" Yes--I was. She then hung up on me. When I called back, I was sent to voicemail. I called again about 10 minutes later, and eventually spoke with the same employee I had spoken with on Tuesday. I was then told that the manager wanted them to explain that there is only one person who can complete the job and that person is only there once a week, so "we'll see what we can do." That is not an acceptable way to handle a customer who has already spent more than $400 with your business and a returning customer. If there are staffing limitations or only one person qualified to complete the work, that should have been clearly communicated when the order was placed--or at the very least when the lenses arrived. I really wanted to support a local business, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Delays happen, but the lack of communication, poor customer service, and dismissive attitude toward my concerns were unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and that's a shame because I would have preferred to continue supporting a local business.

Great to deal locally and even better when the owners themselves are local! Coolest selection of frames and always something new. Bought two pair of glasses with lenses and custom designed sun-glass clip-on which has made my collection of shades functional! George is always welcoming whether its a tweak to my nose pads or a straightening of the frame, he does it as a courtesy. I even stop by sometimes if I am in the neighborhood for a chat. Every time I visit Rocklin, I am reminded why they are the best eyeglass place in town. I stopped by today to see if they could fix my sunglasses (which I had purchased on a trip out of town) and they so graciously repaired them on the spot and did not even charge. Came in just before closing with a repair. After several valiant attempts to try and remedy the situation, one of the owner's suggested her husband would be able to fix it the next day. Sure enough he was able to fix it after what proved to be a not so run of the mill repair. Amazing service and friendliness and a genuine kindness to help. Visited to get my glasses (from another store) adjusted and George was very pleasant, kind and gracious. He did a great job - my glasses fit perfectly. And to my surprise, George waived the cost because I had to wait a while for him to finish helping other customers. Superior customer service!
