Absolutely phenomenal experience...server, food, drinks, beautiful view of the river. Seasoned wings were a hit for the table! Chicken bacon ranch pizza + 3 Stromboli rounded out our order. Will be back on our next visit to Henderson!

Located right on Hendersons riverfront, Rockhouse Pizza. Patio seating is the best, Daisy tagged along with me, which means pet friendly patio. Very friendly service and delicious food. I ordered the regular "world famous" stromboli, with a side of fries, a side of cheese sauce, and a side of pepperoncini's. Everything was so good. I will definitely be back. Cant wait to try other items on the menu. Also, locally owned and operated!

Service was great, pizza was very yummy (could have used a little more toppings IMHO) but it was tasty. View from the window seats were good. Only problem was that it was a little dumpy. The booth seats were ripped open and I was sitting on coarse foam with my shorts on. The table was also peeling and you couldn't move the salt and pepper holder because it was so sticky. But food and service are great. Would go back for those and hopefully not get a booth that's falling apart.

A friend and I went on a spontaneous trip to Henderson, KY and wanted to look for a place to eat before we went hiking. I know, pizza before hiking is a bad idea but oh well. There were not a lot of options so we decided to go to Rockhouse because it was one of the few places that was open. The place was pretty empty which means fast service and fast service was delivered. Our waitress was so nice and was very attentive. We also got our food quick so that was a plus because after a 2 hour drive, we were starving. I decided to be basic and went with a cheese pizza with ranch and garlic sauce. It's nothing exciting but it was good. The prices are very cheap for what you get. I think I only spent 8 dollars for a personal pizza and a Sprite. I'm not sure when I will be back here but if anyone is looking for a quick bite to eat, Rockhouse is a good pick.

I just moved to Henderson and I was looking for a good place to watch some football games, and this place didn't disappoint! The staff were friendly, the bartender was very nice and attentive. We talked football and I had the cheese sticks with jalapeños added and drank a local beer. The food was great so before I left I ordered a pizza to go. It was also great later that night and the next day. I ordered the meat pizza with mushrooms and onions added. Definitely going back again and again and again!

My husband and I got calzones and an order of fries to split.

My husband and I each got a calzone and we split an order of fries. Calzones were very big. (We each took home 1/2 to eat later). As far as Henderson places go, it was a good calzone. The fries were ok. They weren't anything to write home about. There is also a small game room in the back. I played the Candy Crane since I used to play it all the time as a kid back home. I won some hard tootsie rolls. Lol. Service was great. The servers working were very attentive to any needs.

HONEY, SUGAR, SWEETIE... vs. Hi!…read more Most of the waitresses there aren't that great, in my opinion, but I had one who was phenomenal. Her name is Miriam and I was hoping to get her the last time I went to GC. I even went to her section of the restaurant when I saw her. Unfortunately, I was approached by a different server who used one of those pet names that I strongly do not appreciate, "honey". I don't know if no one has ever told them that not everyone likes that and that it is NOT PROFESSIONAL or if they are just too lazy to do better. Miriam, however, never used such demeaning greeting. She was pleasant, polite, and professional the entire visit (my previous visit). She listened and communicated well, though English may not have been her first language. Although I really appreciated the service by the one waitress, why are waitresses needed at buffets anyway? As with fast food restaurants, customers can get and refill their own drinks, clear their tables, and get their own food, so what is the purpose of servers at buffets, besides collecting tips? Seriously. If the purpose of having servers at buffets is to give customers a nicer, slightly more upscale dining experience than that of fast food restaurants, then surely the servers should EARN those tips by providing great service, right? Otherwise they could be eliminated, with no thought, as is the trend in much of American society, due, in part, to AI and security cameras. Nonetheless, most of the food is tasty most of the time at this GC. Sometimes it is hard to get certain items, however. The availability of fresh items (like fried chicken, sweet potatoes, strawberries, or banana pudding) varies from time of day or season of the year. GC's campaign of separate pay items (lobster, cotton candy...) is just annoying in a buffet setting, especially concerning the cotton candy, which, when they had it at all, used to be included as a part of the buffet price.

I love the salad bar so many offerings and dressings. The pork steak was a stand out. I am a fish eater and I love the baked fish and fried fish. There are too many delicious selections to name here. Everyone can find something they would like even vegetarians. The dessert bar was fabulous. I indulged in some birthday chocolate chess pie. This place is neat, clean, friendly, and busy.

I've never had to use to check into the hotel so I can only review my experiences as a Casino customer. First off I love the fact the entrance area feels more secured for you, or really anyone (especially us women) to travel alone, the parking is close to hotel & the airport in general. That in itself makes it less stressful. Its mainly an entertainment complex located on the scenic banks of the Ohio River River front property in Evansville Indiana. It has the fairly large sized casino on the lower floor just inside the main entrance of the parking garage. (That is the popular single-level 24-hour casino that encompasses 45,000 square feet of gaming space featuring 1,175 slot games, over 30 table games, a Poker Room and a High Limit Room). Location overall is great, within walking distance of several bar & grills. Not to mention if you are traveling in to Evansville for an event at the Ford Center this establishment is only 10 minutes away. There's also a great bar & grill inside the casino with decent food selections for this kind of establishment. They offer great selection of alcohol, along with free fountain soft drinks. I like the convenience of the location, and that local guests, or return guests have the opportunity to sign up for a Bally's physical membership card for use in the casino area that you can set a pin number up for (keeps your money safe) and this enables you to have access to exclusive offers and ability to recieve great updates and potential savings. ***[Other things Bally's has to offer it's guests: Other recreational opportunities include fitness center, nightclub. The hotel that includes free wireless Internet access, and gift shops, Temptations Buffet with a coffee shop and other restaurants, the ability to catch a rides on the complimentary shuttle, which operates within a 3 mile radius if need be. It has a bar / lounge area for breaks which includes beverage availability. A business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and even laundry services. A 243-room hotel tower and a 95-room hotel that have coffeemakers, complimentary bottled water, and LCD TV's].***

Bally's Evansville was absolutely terrible. Upon arrival, the walk from the garage to the hotel…read morecheck-in was long. Being a people with disabilities, after having had a long day, with bags in hand, it was rough. When we got to the check-in counter, the woman changed the room we were in. We paid the extra fees to be in a room that had either a view of the city or the river view. We ended up with a room that had the maintenance road & rooftop machinery right outside our window. The shower door wouldn't open and we had to use the shower gel to lube the bottom of the door to open and close it. The water knobs were crusted to the point that they wouldn't turn. We had to fight with them for several minutes before finally working. The shower leaked badly and when I finally tried to get out, I had to relube the floor to open the door again. I was told upon check-in that we would receive $50 free play and upon reaching the game floor and asking, I was told that it was a promotion for members who stayed and we would have had to be members prior to booking. The absolute most ridiculous thing we experienced was the location of the hotel check-in counter. After the long walk from the garage to the check-in counter, we were informed that the actual hotel was on the opposite side of the property! So basically, we would have to go back the way we came, walk all the way through the casino and then we'd find the hotel entrance. The other option was to go back to the garage and drive to the hotel entrance. But when you looked at the parking on that side of the building, it was creepy and there wasn't parking near the entrance. We weren't prepared to put our new vehicle in a lot that was dark and basically open. So we had to lug our bags clear across the whole property. The hotel area actually had an unused check-in area. It was actually really nice. The reason we were given that they didn't use it... COVID. Ya. It's 2026 and Bally's is still using COVID as an excuse for customer discomfort and their convenience. So they get money savings and convenience at the expense of people who thought that they would experience what Bally's advertises. I would NEVER recommend Bally's and we will never stay at another. It was shameful.
