Leaving Mater Dei Wrestling Holiday Classic tournament and finally in town to give this a try. Saw their ad on Facebook a few weeks ago. Ordered the 20" House Special with extra sauce with extra cheese and a Stromboli. I live a little over an hour away and it was torture having to smell this pizza all the way home. This pizza is fire! You can clearly taste the sausage and beef are not precooked. This pie was cooked to perfection as well. Hard to achieve a perfect cook on a loaded pizza with extra cheese without burning the crust. Oven master right there! Also the Stromboli was exactly what I was after. Appears to be crumbled sausage from Farm Boy meats. Had plenty of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni! read more

They take forever and there pizza 's never have enough sauce, so I quit ordering from them.

This has to be the best pizza I've had in my entire life. I will never order from anywhere else ever again. Every single topping on the supreme pizza was delicious. I wanted the crust well done. I'm from the Chicago area. I know a thing or two about decent pie. There are only about 3 or 4 places in Evansville that I think are decent. Steve's is only a couple of miles from my house, so it's convenient but there are a couple of other UNA's in the area. I prefer Steve's. Of course the crust everywhere around here is the Saltine cracker crust. I like the flavor of the sausage, sauce & cheese. My only negative I have for Steve's, is not enough sauce. read more

We have ordered take out pizza from Steve's a couple of times. The first and second time it was exactly what we asked for. We always get a container of peppercinis that is full. The last time we ordered our pizza was burnt on all the edges making part of it inedible and the pepperoni container was only only half full. Hopefully next time it is back to normal! read more

My Family has been going there for over 20 years, when I first turned my kids on to it they simply loved it, and it became an every Friday night thing at the Goben Household. But my kids and I did notice a slit change when Steve sold the establishment about 6 years ago there was something different in the taste, something off by a little bit. Maybe its just me, but to this day I believe Steve with held a secret ingredient and did not pass-it on to the new owner, but never the less you need to give it a try.. 37 years old, this has been my favorite pizza in America since at least 1984 (and I consider myself a pizza connoisseur - NYC, Chicago, STL, Detroit, LA, etc). Steve's is unbelievable pie..get a side of peppercini's and thank me later. I was very excited to try this place, since i grew up on una pizza. It just mediocre. The mushrooms were canned and there just wasnt alot of taste. It tasted kinda cheap. But you cant beat the prices. I got a large 2 topping and side of pepperoncinnis and the total was $11.99. read more

We were in Evansville for one night and decided to grab a pizza for supper. First off, note that this is a take out place only. We didn't know that, but no big deal. Placed the order, staff wasn't the friendliest. Not going to take away points on that as I don't go to pizza joints for friendly service, just tasty pizza. Unfortunately, we didn't get that either. Picked up the pizza, took it 5 minutes away to our hotel room. It smelled delicious. Opened up the bag (never had a bagged pizza before) to find that it is a round pizza cut like sheet pizza. Still okay, makes it easier to eat in the hotel room. Then the bad part hit. The pizza was just bad all around. The cheese was bland (didn't taste like real mozzerella), canned sauce tastes better, but the worst part by far was the crust. We are thin crust pizza afficiandos, but we've never seen crust like that before. It looked and tasted like a saltine cracker. And while that is fine with your chicken noodle soup, it's awful for pizza. I really wanted to like this place. I really did. Maybe it was us. Maybe we're spoiled by NY pizza makers. Maybe this is what thin crust pizza is in Indiana. If this is pizza what pizza is in Indiana, I apologize for the bad review and pledge to never order Indiana pizza again. read more

My wife and I just polished off a large three-topping pizza from Steve's Una Pizza. We had sausage, green peppers, and onions. The crust was great, the sauce was good and the cheese was melted just right. We couldn't stop eating it. Check out their website and you can sometimes get internet specials, but they have carryout specials all the time. Very good pizza. read more
