This plumbing company came to my home and looked at my water heater. After looking at my water heater he calls the home warranty company and tells them that I have galvanized pipes which is causing hydrolysis and that is the source of the problem. He then tells me the claim is denied and will cost me 400 dollars to fix the issue. My water heater was put in in 2004 not the 1960s although there was a heavy amount of corrosion. I decided to call my own plumber to take a look not only did he show me that my pipes were aluminum he was only going to charge me 200 dollars. I called my home warranty and they dispatched their own second opinion plumber to also told me that everything Rocketman Plumbing said was a lie. Everything was covered by the home warranty and I didn't have to pay anything. So save yourself some time and just tell the home warranty you want another plumber Sent to your house. Update I was wrong the pipes were copper the fitting was aluminum. There is also no way he called the warranty because it was covered with no out of pocket cost after they sent a second opinion plumber out. I attached the photos you can see for yourself. My home warranty company chose this plumber for a request we submitted. He showed up in the time frame that he stated, evaluated the issues we were having with our shower and sink faucets. He diagnosed them as valve issues and submitted information to our warranty company. I have had to reach out to our warranty company twice, as they were waiting for more information in order to move forward. My warranty company does not cover the faucets themselves, but they DO cover the internal workings such as valves for sinks and showers. He refuses to work on my items because we do not have the First Class plan, which doesn't even matter because the parts going bad ARE covered. Will be contacting the home warranty company about this, then I'll call my own plumber and the warranty company can pay him to do the job. read more

Absolutely the rudest customer service from the dispatch/receptionist. Not only did I receive this treatment over the phone but so did my wife. Never did they call us to communicate when they would be arriving my as this was a referral through home warranty. I had to call them, then the window they assigned me they never showed and I had to call AGAIN. This time they say nobody could make it until the next day as I am not a priority, mind you this is two days after they were assigned to us. My water heater had a bad leak so I called my warranty company and they sent out Rocketman Plumbing. Rocketman said my water heater was covered by my warranty but the install and bringing it up to code would cost me $1,100 out of pocket. That didn't seem right so I told Rocketman to blastoff and I had my warranty company send another plumber out. The new company that came out pretty much said the same thing about bringing it up to code but only charged $350 plus tax. Like I suspected, Rocketman was trying to takeoff with my hard earned money. This company is runny a scam with my home warranty company (First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation) they come to your house for a repair and they look at the item in question and say oops we don't work on that brand, we will need to upgrade to one of ours and it will be another charge of $125 I believe is what he said. My water heater went out on Friday early in the morning. I was referred to them from my home warranty company. Rather than coming out and checking the heater they had me send pictures of my water heater. Upon review of the picture they said my heater was a recall issue and I needed to contact the manufacturer. First thing Monday I called and found out that it was not a recall issue, but a warranty issue and the part was covered not the labor. I got the locations of where to get the part and messaged Rocketman. 2 hours later I still had not heard back so I called. They stated they would not be coming out today because i was harassing them by calling And so was the warranty company who was trying to get a status of the repairs. They stated all the "calls were too much to handle" and they were too busy to service my home. They instructed me to call my home warranty company and schedule another plumber. read more

We were assigned Rocketman through our home warranty. They were very quick to respond and send a plumber out to inspect our water heater. The plumber told us the water heater would most likely need to be replaced due to recalls and we would be out of pocket in the range of $300-800 for install not covered by the warranty. I asked the warranty company if there was supposed to be any out of pocket costs and she said no! He also told the warranty company that the part (thermocoupler) had been damaged for two months and that it was a pre-existing condition. The insurance closed the claim due to the plumber's statement. We have owned the house for less than 3 weeks and have a home inspection stating the water heater was fine. I explained this to the insurance company, and they reopened the claim after I provided the inspection to them. I asked for a second opinion plumber, because of my experience with Rocketman as well as the Yelp reviews, but it was denied. He also wanted us to get a new water heater, then buy it from us, and then give us a $600 credit towards him installing a tankless water heater. The cost for the tankless was $4500. Rocketman is a terrible contractor and only cares about the money. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. Rocketman, don't even bother replying to this review because I'm not wasting any more time with your company. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Save your time and your money. My boyfriend and I purchased a home in April of 2018 and were given a year warranty with First American Home Warranty. I noticed our master bathroom had a leak from the shower/tub which was also causing water damage to our wall and baseboard and obviously some slight mold. I called my home warranty company and they sent this company out. Go figure it would not leak while the guy stood there for 20 minutes, however, the damage made it obvious there was a leak issue. The guy showed up looking like he just rolled off the farm with cowboy boots and old worn jeans...which in my opinion is not professional to being with. After 20 minutes he basically told me what I can do to fix the damage but couldn't locate a leak. Yet he's a freaking plumber for crying out loud. That's $75.00 I won't get back...If I could give zero stars I would. read more
