Amazingly, Neil has updated his findings to a new, even more asinine reason for getting the home warranty company to not fix my toilet base leak. Now (drum roll)... The tile on my flat, level floor was "installed too low." Now don't mind that it's standard bathroom tile, matching that of the other bathroom, and level with the rest of the flooring in the house. The best part is, I have pictures of the floors with a level to show the flooring in various rooms is level in my one story house, that is BUILT ON A CONCRETE SLAB. Floor installed too low (they also reported him saying the tile was "too thin").....not sure either of those are actually possible. He is very shady when working with home warranty companies. I will be filing a claim in small claims court for the return of my $75 for failure to fulfill his duties. And of course court costs are included... read more

I think Kevin D is right on the mark. I have a home warranty with First American. (Will review separately.) The fellow rolls in with his girlfriend in the passenger seat, and my wife whispers to me that he seems weird. The plumber promises me he'll be back with the right part, but I'm later informed by First American per the plumber's report that the broken faucet is not normal wear-and-tear and therefore not covered by the home warranty. (Obviously the plumber knew he was not coming back so he lied to me.) How would the plumber know that somebody purposely turned the faucet the wrong way so hard that it broke, and that it's not simply a mistake and equipment failure? I have never heard of anyone breaking a faucet by turning it the wrong way, and I am very strong and accident-prone! read more

Rocketman were my assigned plumber for my home warranty call for a faulty Navien water heater. Neil determined that the previous owner neglected the heater scheduled maintenance and caused it to end-of-life prematurely, and it was out of warranty. He was very knowledgeable on the product line and worked with the warranty company to get it replaced. He updated all the old plumbing to current code and now we have a brand new, warrantied water heater. I would certainly call Rocketman for any further plumbing issues I have. read more

BEWARE...THIS COMPANY ACTUALLY GETS A KICK OUT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT AND NOT SHOWING UP !!! I was given a Friday time slot from 10 - 2..on a Friday. No one showed up...I text them no response. So I called and explained I had a 10 to 2 time slot and no one showed up. ..the person I spoke too said "i have 200 customers which one are you ? THEY ACTUALLY THINK ITS FUNNY AND LAUGH LIKE IT IS FUNNY SOMEHOW.that you set aside 4 hour and then dont even call. There is definitly something else going on with them besides plumbing.. It makes no sense. They make an appointment don't show up and are rude...when you call...and then hang up. Terrible customer service! I have been trying to get my leaking toilets looked at for 3 weeks. I was referred by home warranty to use this company. I called and made an appointment for last week between 10 and 2. I don't get a call until 3 pm. Oh sorry we are running late can we come now? Umm thanks for the communication but my son has baseball practice that's why we scheduled between 10 and 2. I said fine no problem things happen spoke with owner and he said they were busy. I rescheduled for today and they stated last week they would be here today right at 10 am due to them not calling last week. Our hot water heater stopped working last Friday. We contacted America Home Service warranty and they sent out Rocket Man plumbing. I am so glad they did. Neil, Skyler and Ron were fantastic. They put our new AO Smith hot water heater in on Monday. It did not work. They came back the same day and spent a couple hours here calling AO Smith technical reps to get to the bottom of the issue. Ron and Skyler stayed the whole time until AO Smith agreed to send out a new part. The part came on Thursday and they installed it on Friday. It still didn't work! More phone calls to AO Smith technical services who made it very difficult for a Rocketman to be able to do their job correctly because the unit still wasn't working. Neil, the owner, told me I'm going to come out on Saturday, the next day, install a brand new unit. All three guys showed up Saturday morning. They took the dysfunctional unit to Lowe's in Murrieta, and Neil went up to bat for me and made sure they gave him a new one to replace the one that wasn't working. They came back, installed the new one. waited another hour to make sure it was working correctly and then left. RocketMan plumbing went the extra mile and a half to make sure we had hot water and a functioning hot water heater. I highly recommend them. read more

Would NOT recommend this company at all!!! If your home warranty company sends them out to do a job...request a different plumber. I reported two bathroom faucet leaks to my home warranty company (Fidelity National) and within hours I received a call from Rocketman Plumbing that a plumber was on the way. Wow!! Impressive, that was quick. NOT! Plumber arrived, told me the first faucet wasn't actually leaking...dried it off with a rag, waited to see if any water would drop, and low and behold nothing. Told me I wasn't turning the faucet off all the way. Then we went to the upstairs bathroom and he did replace a small rubber piece. He was at my house 10 minutes tops. Within days both faucets started leaking again. I called Fidelity back and they submitted another request to Rocketman to come back to my home and fix the sinks. Fidelity could not get Rocketman to respond, so they told me to call them directly. In summary here's how it went: Feb 23, 2021 - Initial visit from plumber. Feb 26, 2021 - Requested follow-up through Fidelity due to faucets still leaking. Mar 11, 2021 - Fidelity tells me to call Rocketman directly because Rocketman will not respond to Fidelity's email or calls. Mar 11, 2021 - I spoke with female "receptionist" from Rocketman. She asked me who the technician was (I'm wondering why this doesn't show on her records), and that they would send the owner out because this should have been fixed the first time and that the first technician was new. I'm actually excited and thinking this is gonna be great. But she informs me that they are sooooo busy, so it would be at least two weeks. Mar 30, 2021 - appointment day. No call...no plumber, so I call Rocketman to ask what time the plumber would be arriving. I'm met with short, curt, answers as if I'm bothering them. I actually don't think I was even scheduled. Mar 30, 2021 - Neil arrives and the first thing he says sarcastically as soon as I open my door is "tell me again why you need a master plumber?" Neil seems totally irritated, complains to me that he has to order Delta parts for my faucets, and how much he dislikes home warranty company jobs because he doesn't get paid for return trips. He was at my house for less then 5 minutes! He ended the visit with you will get a call in a week once the parts arrive. Apr 7, 2021 - I called around 9am to inquire about the parts. I'm asked did I call the office number (which I did), and I'm told that the calls must be still forwarded to their personal phone, but for me to text a message to that same number so it would remind them to check on my parts later in the day and that I would receive a call in the afternoon. Apr 8-15, 2021 - Still no response from Rocketman. Apr 15, 2021 - I submit a credit card dispute with my bank for the $75 charge I paid to Fidelity for the Rocketman initial service call fee (this had to be paid when submitting the claim for service) Apr 21, 2021 - Finally received a call from Rocketman asking what work they did for me during their two separate visits to my home and if I know what parts were ordered. (I'm assuming they were notified that Fidelity reversed payment to them). Person I spoke with seemed oblivious to my case and just hung up the phone. Apr 22, 2021 - Received notification from my bank that Fidelity also submitted a credit for reimbursement of my $75. I know this was long, but I couldn't figure out any other way to tell my story. All you have to do is look at the condescending responses from the owner on his other negative Yelp reviews, and they all seem to be stemming from home warranty work. This is the worst customer service that I have received from a contractor in my home. I believe most business owners want to offer great service. It's how they make their money. Not Rocketman. Rocketman Plumbing was assigned by the insurance company to resolve a small toilet leak. On the day of appointment they said it's too late in the day to pull out the toilet and they will be back in two days. My appointment was rescheduled 3 times after that. On Thursday night water started dripping from the fixture on the first floor and lights shut down. They answered the call, advised to turn off the water and promised to be there first thing in the morning. Yes, they arrived at 10-30 and fixed the sealing. Then refused to do anything else with the water inside the walls. The statement was "your insurance doesn't cover the secondary damage ". Don't mind the fact that none of it would have happened if they performed the 15 minute job the very first day. I'm left speechless and with thousands in repairs. Shame on you. read more

Ron was quick to arrive and assess our emergency leak. It was a little beyond what he could do at the time so he pit us in contact with a great company to come remove some dry wall. I cannot recommend this company at all! They will lie in your face, make up excuses over the phone, give promise to come back and never return. They will make up a bogus report about the job so they won't have to do it through the Home Warranty Company. The only sincere statment Neil said through his visit was that the Home Warranty didn't pay him enough for the repair at my home and that if I had contacted him directly it would be a different story. I had an appointment scheduled with this company on Wednesday between 3-5. I am a school teacher and had to leave school early to be home for them. They never showed up. I texted the company during to two hours and no response. I called at around 5:30 and left a message and still no response. They had mentioned that their website was down, but I'm sure that does not involve phone lines and costumer service. So disappointing and disrespectful. I have been a community member if Temecula valley for the past 25+ years and being a teacher I interact with many other community members. I was referred to Rocketman by my home warranty. Rocketman promptly called us to set up an appointment to check out our plumbing issue. Once they came out, they were able to diagnose the issue and gave us a thorough explanation of what was going on (cold water slab leak) and what our options were. On March 14, 2021 at 11am I had the privilege of meeting Neil with Rocketman Plumbing. This was a referral on behalf of First American Home Warranty. When I initially made contact with the call center March 13th to schedule an appointment I was initially told the next available was Monday, March 15th which would have left us for two days without hot water. However, Neil interceded and stated that people should not be without hot water and that he was available to come on Sunday afternoon. Neil went over and beyond on his DAY OFF to assist my family. The problem was a natural gas water heater that would ignite, but would not maintain the flame. Neil was masked and exhibited exemplary customer service. He came in reviewed the water heater and knew immediately what the problem was. Neil replaced a thermal device which was malfunctioned and this resolved the issue. This gentlemen was pleasant, kind, informative, tenacious and provided nothing less than service excellence. I felt happy to know that their are still people with this level of engagement in their occupation and doing what is right for the consumer.
