Nick with Rocket Plumbing came out today to take a look at our water pressure issue in Wicker Park. Scheduling was easy, left them a message and had a response within an hour. Got a 1-hour appointment window of time, actually had a call 30 minutes before that Nick was done sooner with other appointments and if it would be ok for him to come now, which was nice. He took the time to understand our problem and look into the potential causes. We discussed all options and he actually figured something out that past plumbers and contractors missed. He was very professional and although our issues is not completely solved (by no fault of his at all) he did make things better and provided suggestions for other solutions should we want them. We are satisfied with the result, we will be using RP for all our future plumbing needs. Thank you. read more

Rocket Plumbing saved us from near-disaster when our ejector pump crapped out (literally). They were able to send guys over to our place in less than an hour on a holiday! Mike worked on our pump and was super nice, thoroughly explained the problem, and waited patiently as we figured out next steps with our condo association. Our toilet was back up and running in about an hour. Highly recommend!! read more

Ben from Rocket Plumbing was so great! He was on time and very professional from the start. He replaced our drain pipes that were leaking under our sink. While he was replacing the pipes, he was educating me on what he was doing which made me really feel like I was getting my money's worth! I will definitely be calling him again soon! Thanks, Ben! read more

Rocket did a lot of work in my home and I can't say enough about them. Reasonable rates, fast service and the work was done right. Sam came out and explained everything that needed to be done and even how to improve the existing service. He was very friendly and you could see how much pride he had in his work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality service. Decent pricing too. read more

We have had a clogged sewer pipe for over 2 years. I can't tell you the number of plumbers we had come out to try to fix the issue and they just couldn't get all the root balls out. Others tried to scare us into spending thousands. Mike came in and got all 4 root balls removed in about 3 hours and restored flow out to the main sewer. While I know it was a difficult job, he patiently walked us through everything he was doing and videoed along the way. He did what no one else was able to do for us at a VERY reasonable price. I can't recommend enough! read more

I came down to my home office in our newly bought condo to find the kitchen sink & dishwasher connections had leaked and it was now raining downstairs. Quickly put in a number of requests on yelp and Rocket was by far the fastest to get back to me. They had their plumber, Anthony who was very nice and knowledgeable, out to us within 2 hours and the problem was fixed by hour 3. They also gave us a recommendation for a contractor to help with the drywall that got soaked. I will certainly call them again if there is another problem but i really hope there isn't one :) read more

Great service, fast, and seems honest. My technician called me to explain the issue, and then a couple options on how to fix. I'd use them again and highly recommend. read more

My sister and I live in the same building. She was having issues with her toilet and I was having issues with mine. I had used a plumber for by business in the past and it just so happens he was out of town so we needed someone else to come out. I looked at the reviews here on Yelp and my sister gave Levi's a call. Brian not only answered the phone but also made an appointment to come out to our place the very next day. He showed up on time for our appointment, assessed the issues, ran out for parts and had everything in working order in just a couple of hours. He was polite, professional and presented us with a very reasonable invoice. We will both be using Brian at Levi's for all of our plumbing issues going forward. Thank you to Yelp and a BIG, HUGE thanks to Brian at Levi's Plumbing. read more

I wanted to update my review to based on the fantastic customer service I received. I used rocket plumbing because it was recommended to me by a friend. I was happy with the quick and friendly scheduling. But, I was not happy with the appointment experience and I felt over charged. The owner was very kind and called me to explain, apologize and refund my money. I could tell that he really cared about his business and customers. I am willing to give it another try. I understand that not everything is perfect with businesses. I do appreciate very much that the owner was trying rectify the issue. read more

Woke-up Friday morning to no hot water. Cold shave, cold shower. :-( I called Rocket on the way to the office. Marlon was there right away, my neighbor let him in, and he had the water heater working again in 5 minutes, no joke. Didn't need parts, didn't need a new water heater, just needed 5 minutes of Marlon's time. Awesome service. read more

Called based on the reviews. Happy we did. We got Jeff who was just GREAT! We had him back again within days to fix a different problem. He will be our gay moving forward! read more

I had a simple job of just removing a sink and capping off the supply and drain. I got connected with Anthony who was able to come the same day. He have me a quote over the phone and said he might even be able to get it done the same day. Long story short Anthony was very friendly, courteous, professional and open about their pricing. Would do business with again. read more

This was my first time using Rocket Plumbing and definitely not my last. I called on a Wednesday and was able to get someone to come out the following day (Thursday). Marlin met with my husband was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly was able to tell us what the issue was and explained in depth how he could fix it. He quoted us a very reasonable price and I was able to call and schedule Marlin to come out the following day (Friday) to fix the leaking pipe. Marlin did a fantastic job and was able to get the job fast. I would highly recommend Rocket Plumbing and I know our condo will use them again, should we have any other issues. read more

Kitchen sink plumbing sprang a leak. Called Rocket on Saturday, got a speedy return call because my number had shown up on missed calls [hadn't left a message], made an appointment for Monday morning. Danny arrived promptly on schedule, diagnosed the problem, proposed a solution [new faucet, which he could provide right away], left to pick up the new faucet, returned & installed it lickety-split. The price of the new faucet included installation. Problem solved with as little fuss as possible--and at a very reasonable cost. Rocket will be my new go-to plumber. read more

Jake and Tyler were very responsive and took care of plumbing at my Mom's home for new plumbing fixtures and rodding out the bathtub drain. They were professional, kind, and had a positive attitude. The pricing was higher than what I expected, $828 which included about 2 hours of total work from the time of arrival to completion of the job. They arrived and inspected the work that needed to be done, went to the plumbing store, and returned to do the job. I expected that with the new handles and shower head with handle/hose that they would also replace the spout and shower head bar so that all the fixtures would be new at the same time, yet that was not the case. So there is a 30 year old shower head head bar and 30 year old spout with the other items being new, which in my opinion is very strange considering a price tag of over $800. I did not hire this business, yet I was at my Mother's home when the work was done. It would have been nice if they would have mentioned the shower head bar and spout as options. The good news is that things now work. I just feel that one more step in customer care with talking about options for the other plumbing pieces would have been better so that things look nice and new all together. If you decide to hire this business Jake and Tyler are very professional and with one more added step it would have been 5 stars, despite the high cost. read more

If you need a plumber, look no further than Rocket Plumbing. I had a maddening issue at my condo, where the drain connected to my air conditioning unit kept backing up. This was very problematic as we were unable to use the air conditioner without closely monitoring the water levels. I had a plumber from another company come out who was unable to fix the problem. He ran 25' of rodding into the pipe, but the problem persisted. He felt it was a building issue (for my association to handle). So, I had my building association look into the matter. They brought out their own plumber who couldn't run the rod more than 5' into the pipe, so he declared it a unit issue that I would need to fix. He recommended drilling through concrete to find/fix the problem. After discussing this with my building's management, we decided to get a third opinion...and that is when we called Rocket. Obviously, we should have called them FIRST, but now we know. At any rate, Ben came out and assessed the situation. He ran 35' of rodding into the pipe, but the problem with the drain persisted. I asked him if this was a building issue...and he told me there was no question that it was (therefore, I did not have to pay out of pocket to fix it). After much investigation, it was determined that the problem was located in the unit below me. Ben and his team had to access the unit below me, and then knock out a portion of the wall in order to access the pipe. As soon as they did, the backup was immediately fixed. This was a huge relief for me. I can't say enough about Ben's work ethic and professionalism. He took the time to explain to me (as well as my building's manager) what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. It was particularly helpful in my case, as Ben was able to clearly explain to my building's manager why the liability for the cost for repairs lied with the building, instead of me. I will not hesitate to use Rocket Plumbing, and particularly Ben, for any plumbing issues I have in the future. read more

I will never call another plumbing company again. Tony pretty much saved us last winter when our pipes froze twice. He came out quickly and promptly each time and fixed our problem right away. The second time the same pipe froze and he came out and was able to thaw it before it burst and caused More damage than we already had. Recently he came out right away to check on a leak and told us the city should fix it for free and saved us from spending more money than we needed to. I trust Tony and feel he is always honest with us and I really appreciate it. I honestly haven't compared costs to other plumbers recently but I would pay a little more knowing I had honest and reliable service with Tony. read more

These guys are as good as it gets. I'm in an apartment with a landlord all the way out on the west coast so sometimes billing is a bit hectic. They deal with it perfectly every time. Marlon is the tech that always comes out to our house and I couldn't ask for better service. From leaking sinks and new garbage disposals to replacing our water heater he's been perfect. Even better when our upstairs neighbor had their water heater start pouring water into our apartment I gave him a call and he was able to at least patch things up and make them safe up there so we didn't have any more damage. Marlon and the rest of the Rocket Plumbing crew are the best contractors I've ever worked with and the only people I'll call to take care of any issues here in Chicago. read more

I was having leakage from my sump pump pipes in the basement. After reviewing Yelp, I contacted Brian in the afternoon, and he arrived that same evening to see if we needed immediate action. Brian asked us not to use our washer and shower in the basement until he arrived the next day since we needed a new sump pump and pipes. Brian provided several options, arrived the next evening, and corrected all the issues, including a kitchen pipe which needed to be stabilized. Brian is professional, insightful, and reasonable in his pricing. We discussed several different future projects, and we look forward to working with him again. read more

Prompt, helpful, responsive service. The technician that was dispatched, Sam, is fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great Experience! So glad that I called Rocket Plumbing. Faucet broke on Monday, called and got an appointment on Tuesday. Plumber called to see if he could come early. Faucet fixed by Tuesday afternoon. Very knowledgable about my Kohler faucet and how to fix it. Worked quickly and price was very reasonable. In fact, I gave the business card to my building manager in case any of my neighbors have a plumbing problem. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I contacted Rocket Plumbing due to a leak which was coming between the first and second floors in my apartment building. Anthony and Angel came by and was able to see where the leak was coming from. Basically they made my problem with this leak their problem as well. They were able to give me a range of the estimate depending on how far the source of the leak was. After finding the source of the leak they were able to fix a pipe thar was rodded out. Both Anthony and Angel were very professional and they were upfront with everything and there was no surprises. Their work also comes with a warranty so if there are any leaks in the future I can call on them again. I will definitely use them for my future plumbing needs. Thanks guys! read more

Great communication. Showed up early. Finished early. Fairly priced. There is NOTHING I can complain about. Anthony was fantastic.

I contacted Levi's Plumbing to install a new laundry tub and fix a gas pipe. They came out the same day and completed everything within 4 hours. He charge me exactly what the estimate said and cleaned up before he left. I would recommend using this company. read more

Great experience with Rocket! Sam came to look at a leaking sinking and fixed it easily, but told me at some point soonish I'll need a new faucet, so he gave me some options about replacement when the time comes. He then rodded my sinks which was disgusting but quite cathartic, for me anyway. He wasn't judgmental about the deluge of human life that cooagulates in kitchen and bathroom pipes, he's quite empathic really. And quick, he was done a bit sooner than he predicted. Price was very reasonable. I'll hire Rocket again, and hopefully Sam will still be around. read more

I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 just because I'm not sure if this was expensive or not - I know very little about typical plumbing costs. We had a VERY backed up garbage disposal (backing up into the dishwasher). Called on a Sunday, and someone was here by 10am Monday morning. Finished the work in an hour, super friendly, explained things so I could understand and dealt with two big dogs who were very interested in what he was doing. Even bailed the dishwasher for me when he was done. All this was $220. The kicker though was I had run some water in the bathroom that looked very cloudy. When I asked him about it, he speculated they were doing some work on pipes somewhere in the neighborhood. Ten minutes after he left, he actually called me to say he found where they were doing the work and let me know what I needed to do to get the water to drinking condition until the construction was done. Hopefully we don't need plumbing service in the future, but if we do, I'll definitely use them again! read more

Brian and his team really came through for me on this one. Last Saturday they came out to fix our water heater. Knowing that the parts stores were closed on Sundays they made quick work of fixing my water heater at what I thought was a very fair price. I would highly recommend them to him. read more

Had two different service calls and each time the crew arrived fairly quickly and was both friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain what they were going. The larger of the two calls was to address an improperly installed toliet (from my contractor)... they were able to make the repair and then explain to me the things to keep an eye out. Definitely would call them again. read more

Got an appointment within 24 hours. Once onsite Danny was professional, honest, and proficient. He installed a disposal and the related plumbing and was great! I gave Rocket a try because of the positive reviews here. I submitted a request through their site and got a quick reply with availability. Tony from Rocket called prior to the scheduled appointment to confirm he was on time. He provided the price for the work, then I mentioned that I had a coupon which he accepted. He was very professional and the price (with use of the coupon) was reasonable. I've had the same maintenance work (sewer rodding) done in the past and it was far more expensive. I will use them again. read more

Rocket Plumbing is THE BEST! I called about a leaking toilet tank, not only did they schedule a plumber to come out the same day, my guy (Tony) showed up early. He was great, diagnosed the problem right away, fixed the problem and was on his way to his next appointment in about 6min. Problem solved and it didn't cost me an arm & a leg. Best plumber ever. I've had Anthony to my house a couple of times due to some plumbing issues right after we bought our place and the experience was awesome (as awesome as fixing plumbing issues can be). I'd used them in my old condo as well, and found them to be professional, easy to work with, on time (or early), informative and they do great work. I refuse to use another plumber ever again, having recently had a bad experience with a home depot contracted plumber (who HD sent for free due to messing up my kitchen remodel). Rocket Plumbing stands behind their work for good reason - it's great work and they have integrity. Also, their office is super easy to communicate with, they are so good about scheduling/confirming and incredibly professional. If you need a plumber, use these guys. You will not regret it. read more

We contacted Rocket after reading their glowing reviews on Yelp and were so satisfied that we wanted to add our feedback here, too. I reached out to Rocket via their website on the day before New Years Eve and heard back within an hour by email (from Adam). I explained to Adam that we had a banging noise coming from our hot water heater and I was nervous about how long it would last before something more serious happened. Rocket sent someone out right away and even helped us with the warranty claim to the hot weater heater manufacturer. Amazing considering we did not buy the original water heater through Rocket! For their speed and professionalism of response and service, I'm happy to give Rocket 5 stars. read more
