I've been a customer of Rocket Maids going on 3 years now. When I moved from the San Fernando Valley to the Santa Clarita Valley, I was worried that I would lose their services. Luckily, two of their amazing cleaners operate in the area. Robin is our go-to. She's on a bi-monthly schedule with us and she is an absolute godsend for a house with three special needs toddlers and two pups. She goes above and beyond and she's also just a super personable human being. It's like a friend has come over to help out. Sometimes schedules get a little messy, and if Robin isn't available, Tekla is there to pick up the slack and she is phenomenal as well! Rocket Maids' administrative team is also very good at connecting with me and keeping in communication. They are super easy-going and quick to reschedule when at all possible. I have lived in my apartment for nearly 14 years now. Moved in when I was 24 years old. The long-term cleanliness of the apartment never stood a chance against me, an apathetic millennial. A handful of times over the years, I've hired a cleaning service to come and help save the apartment. This most recent instance was because I was about to get married, and my immediate family was going to be staying in the apartment for about a week. The kitchen and bathroom badly needed a deep clean. Having had good service with Rocket Maids before, we booked with them again. And then we were blessed with Khalila. Khalila did a better job of cleaning the kitchen and bathroom than anyone ever has in this apartment. I think she was there from about noon until almost 7pm in the evening, just working in those two rooms. We are so happy with her work and will definitely be asking for her back! We learned from Khalila that Rocket Maids is a true mom 'n' pop operation, and the price of the service was very reasonable for the value we got from it. Eduardo came by today for a deep cleaning and did a fantastic job! Deep cleaned our loft apartment in just under 3 hours, and did a thorough job, left our place spotless and smelling fresh. This is our second time booking Rocket Maids and we've had a great experience both times. The price is affordable and fair, as well. They did charge an extra $60 for our outdoor patio space, but Eduardo gave us a heads up that it was a separate cost from the regular indoor deep cleaning (which we hadn't initially realized), so we knew it was coming/wasn't a surprise. I've used this service twice and each time it has been terrible. The business model is to have the "cleaners" do as quick of a job as possible, and leave it to the tenants to micromanage or make them redo areas. The first time they came, they didn't do an entire floor and someone had to come back. The second time they came, the woman brought her son who didn't look to be of working age to help, and they were TERRIBLE. They didn't vacuum the entire second floor, there was hair and dust all over the bathrooms, they didn't wipe down half of the bathroom vanities, and left all the trash cans full. They tried to leave without taking any trash out and we had to personally point out everything they missed. Worst of all, they threw away an entire, UNOPEN bottle of $300 wine and threw it in the recycling. It was very clearly unopened and labeled and they threw it away. UPDATE: Rocket maids were quick to reach out to me to resolve this issues. They apologized, owned the problem, and assured me the kid was 18+, and refunded the cleaning. While these are nice gestures and appreciated, I don't believe in fake reviews or removing true experiences. Twice, the product they offered - so called amazing cleaners - left us disappointed and our house still wasn't clean. I still wouldn't recommend this service, but there are new cleaners every time so you can choose your own adventure. This company is racist. They will openly refuse to serve Black customers. I went online and booked an appointment with Rocket Maids. On their website they claim to serve all of LA county as well as apartments and homes. Within a couple of hours of booking my appointment, I received a call from a representative attempting to get out of the booking. She claimed that I live in a congested area that doesn't have a lot of parking options. What? This is LA, that's like canceling because there's traffic. Is this company claiming that they don't service the entire Mid-Wilshire area? I suspect not as that's not included on their website. I told them that there was parking and then they booked it. The day before, I received an email from them that my credit card had declined. I checked my credit card statement and there was 10 cents pending from them. They LIED. They did not try to run the amount that was due and instead lied and said that my credit card was declined. A common tactic for racists. read more

I have been using Rocket Maids for a few years now. Their website is very straightforward and makes it easy to book. Additionally, the prices are set and there are no surprises. The cleaners we've used most often are Clara, Tekla and Robin. All do a fantastic job! Most recently (and a few weeks delayed in my review) we had Robin and once again, she was wonderful. Hands down the best cleaning service I've ever used. I used them for a 'move out' clean in August last year, they were very detailed, professional, punctual and I definitely couldn't have done it that well myself. The oven was spotless (who likes to clean the oven?!) and my stainless steel appliances looked brand new. The 2 workers were willing to do the job but the foreman lady decided to leave the job and took the competent workers away. unreliable and unprofessional. it was the day of the big fire so I gave an extra Star for coming, although they were 1 hour late. I would look elsewhere. They took photos without asking. VERY SHADY experience. Management is trying to mend the issue, but I can't trust after they took photos without permission. We hired Rocket Maids to come by to clean our apartment - our apartment wasn't terribly dirty but our bathroom definitely needed some attention and we wanted someone to come by to dust/ mop and tidy some areas that we often miss. Booking was very easy; we were able to book the same week. Our maid came promptly at the specified time with a mask on and all of the supplies. Two very disappointing experiences with this company. The first time I made an appointment they texted the day before trying to switch it to a different day, and then a different time, which I agreed to. The cleaner was very nice but did a terrible job -- there were piles of dirt in the corners and everything was cleaned very half-heartedly, if at all. She was only here for 2 hours when I was told it would be four. But they asked me to give it another chance so I made another appointment for a couple weeks later. But the day of, only an hour before, they texted me that the cleaner couldn't make it and they had to cancel. They seem to have a staff issue, so I would not recommend this company. read more

Three stars because they did a great job with the bath tubs, sinks and kitchen but the rest of the house wasn't cleaned properly after careful review. We tipped them because we know it's a tough job but the walls had dust on them which means they didn't pass a rag over them at all (move-out/move-in had said it included walls), windows, moldings and corners weren't cleaned properly. We didn't have power so they couldn't vacuum which was on us but the house has excellent natural lighting in all of the rooms for the rest of the cleaning. We had to go back the next day and do a deep clean ourselves. Not sure that I would recommend them if you're moving into a place that needs deep cleaning. Save the $300 and do it yourself. They might to better job with places that don't need as much detailed cleaning. read more

Rocket maids rock! Just moved to a condo that the previous owner hadn't deep-cleaned in over thirty years and when I tried to do this myself I threw in the towel (literally to the garbage). They did stuff I didn't even think of, like cleaning the dirt that had set into the grout on the tile floors. *! The true test of a good clean is when you run your finger along high surfaces or easily overlooked locations and find NO DUST. Which was the case in my previously filthy condo unit. I've been using RM for over a year and Lorena never fails to deliver. There's been a few snafus with replacement cleaners when I didn't have her, but mostly attributed to others lack of familiarity with the house. The more you use the same cleaner, the better it becomes because they get to know your home. Case in point--first cleaning probably took over 4 hours. Now she turns it around in 2. It's not that the cleaning was better at 4 hours, it's that shes become more efficient and able to do it in two. The house is always sparkling and smells clean, no streaks in mirrors or bathrooms snd she does little things like cleans microwave and even the dog bowl! They added masks to their service during COVID, routinely get checked and/or tested and are friendly and professional. I recommend trying out several of their cleaners first, pick the one that works best and then use the same one over and over. It'll benefit you long-term to have a "regular" cleaner rather than switching cleaners or companies too often. read more
