I requested a move in deep clean and carpet cleaning from them. They arrived reasonably on time and did an excellent job. It was a team of 2 ladies. Very meticulous, detail oriented, kind and listened to any requests we had and also very efficient. It was hard to find cleaners who also had portable carpet shampoo machines - either they did vacuum only or nothing at all. So greener cleaner was an exception and the carpet cleaning was amazing. They not only cleaned carefully and thoroughly, but I also found that cupboards, shelves, and kitchen cabinets had been wiped down and/or straightened out, which I'd been meaning to do for a couple of years. Reyna and Ingrid have been coming to clean our house for 6 weeks and they are excellent. Not only is my house tidy and extremely clean, but each week they seem to do one additional task. Just stay away... Was upsold on a "deep clean" that required three hours via phone since it was their first time coming to clean. I said multiple times I wanted them to vacuum and mop all floors/baseboards. Their vacuum didn't work and after an hour of trying to get it to work they asked to use my Dyson. Didn't go back to re vacuum what they originally worked on... told them not to touch my bed but they stripped off the blankets and pillows and put it on my dresser so I had to remake my bed after they left? Bathroom sink caulking wasn't wiped down so there's still dust, bathtub shelves were not wiped or scrubbed (even me rinsing with water the next morning 'cleaned' it so that means they didn't even splash some water on it), and floors were still dirty. Walked around barefoot and the bottom of my feet were dirty-I had to wash my feet before going to bed. Not sure if they ran out of soap/cleaning spray but when they cleaned the kitchen there was no clean smell and a bunch streaks left on the floor. They offered to come back the next day but that was an absolute no. Found out the next day they dumped all the trash into my blue recycling bin instead of the black trash bin literally right next to it in my driveway. read more

WOW!! Absolutely amazing cleaners! Hired them for a move-in deep clean after a home renovation and now the place is spotless! What I asked of Sara and Raquel was a tall order, including dusty dirty windows that hadn't been washed for years, a fireplace full of cobwebs, and a gross old garage. They do a generally good job, so I'm giving the 3 stars. But the billing is very frustrating. 9 months (!) after the service, I got emails in red saying "2nd notice! Past due!" Huh? I pay my bills, did I not pay this? Umm, I don't remember getting a 1st notice. Maybe they failed to bill me? (And it's not much fun getting these notices for deadbeats with threatening type in big red font, "past due", etc.). So I responded back - can we please discuss? I'm confused. Nothing - no response. Then 6 weeks later, out of blue, a repeat email, plus a text, too. This is now 10 months after the service. What goes on over there? Finally got them on the phone. "We sent you invoices 13 times!" they said. Huh? Where'd you send them? And they give me the wrong email address. We got it straightened out and they were nice about it. For a 6 hour, $360 deep cleaning. This is not the quality I had expected. My feet are black walking through the apartment, I'm not sure what kind of cleaner they used. Dust is still all over my cabinets, my windows still have much water stains, appliances still have residue, etc. No attention to detail. ---- Update: Company reached out to offer a second cleaning to fix it, but was similar to the first: I was there to observe this time and my notes: - My biggest issue is that they do very light cursory mop jobs, no scrubbing, just getting the floor wet and wiping again. I hand wipe the floors with a wet paper towel afterwards and it still comes up black (I showed them this, but they only did a second similar mop job, wiped again with paper towel and still black. I gave up explaining and just want them to leave so I can call professionals to come.) - They dump bottle liquid on wood floors instead of spraying, leaving much wet residue and generally a terrible treatment for real wood floors. - They wear outside dirty shoes, leaving dirty footprints after they mop. - They rarely move items out of the way to vacuum/mop. - They sometimes mop before they vacuum (this is common sense not to do), if they even vacuum at all (some rooms only mopped). - Lack of attention to detail, the same cupboards have piles of dust in the corners even when pointed out and the floors still have pieces of dirt and such after they're done. - Most things were just wiped once, moving the dust. Language barrier (no english) so very hard to communicate anything. ---- Update: Company reached out with a refund, great customer service. Having used a professional cleaning company in the past with mixed results, I was quite nervous at hiring Greener LA. I have been using there services for over 3 months now, they come twice a month for 2 hours. They have sent me two lovely ladies named Rachel and Jenny, I find them to be pleasant and trustworthy. I also found once you instruct them of your exact requirements you do not need to repeat yourself, they take note of what is required. I have two German Shepherds and my main concern was THE HAIR. I asked if they could please pay close attention to the floors and rugs where most of the hair collects. Every time I get home after they've cleaned it's like walking into a brand new house I kinda hesitate letting the dogs in after. Sadly, I am very unimpressed with my experience using this service. I scheduled a move in cleaning for a new unit that I was moving into. I scheduled it before I had the bulk of my things moved in so that the cleaners could have access to as much as possible. I'm giving two stars for the cleaners, who I briefly spoke to. They were nice and arrived on time. I have a 400 sqft apartment, so there's not a lot of space to be cleaned. Two cleaners came and I was quoted $60/hour for both. When the bill came, it was $180, so I was charged for three hours. The problem is, nothing looked cleaner except for very obvious things. They put away the small amount of kitchen items I had into cabinets and cleaned the very obvious grout cleaner that I had already put on the grout. Those were the only noticeable differences. The unit was in pretty good shape upon move in, so it wasn't like they had a lot to focus on, but I requested a good cleaning around the faucet and the cabinets, but noticed no difference in those areas. read more

I hired this one bc they use non-toxic chemicals and promised without hesitation they would be there on the day and time they had agreed to. I don't normally write reviews, but these guys deserve accolades. I hate cleaning. I also don't like random people coming in to my house and touching my things. Because of bad allergies I knew I needed help. So after a lot of research I visited Greener LA's webpage. Their website is super easy to navigate. I was able to fill out the specs of our house, tell them what I needed, explained I have pets and note that I wanted monthly service. They were able to set me up on Saturdays and the time of day was perfect. The first cleaning was a deep cleaning and each cleaning after that was about two hours. By having them come once a month, I was able to maintain what they did without having a breakdown and rocking in the corner at the thought of cleaning. I never had a problem. The ladies were always super nice and friendly towards myself and the critters. I only stopped using them because I left the state. I highly recommend these guys. read more

I finally had to let Greener L.A. go. I used Greener L.A. for almost two years for biweekly cleanings of my 700 SF apartment. They started off strong but quickly petered out. At various points, I would have given them anywhere from 1 to 4 stars. Over the course of 2 years, I arrive at 2 stars. For my first several cleanings: - Initial "deep clean" was spectacular - Crew was no more than 20 minutes late - Cleaning was superior; I rejoiced in how good my apartment looked and smelled every time they came. By cleaning #4, it began to slide. They were chronically late and full of excuses about a job that ran long, or an inability to find parking. 25 minutes late, then 45, then 80. And I wouldn't get a call/text most of the time, either. I would just sit waiting. At the 3-month point, I told account manager Julio (who is great) that I couldn't work with the chronic lateness and was finished with their service. He talked me down, and things improved (for the most part) for almost a year. I was very, very clear with him that if their only available time slots were during my work day, I needed punctuality -- I explained that it was billable time I was losing (I'm a consultant, and most of my work is hourly.) They then arrived up to 30 min early, but generally not more than 20 min late. That I could deal with. Last year, I began to travel more, and did have to reschedule quite a few cleanings. I always made my change request at least 24 hours in advance, usually several days in advance, sometimes several weeks in advance (when I would book a trip.) After that, I had quite a few different cleaners, and most were not nearly as thorough as the original team I'd had (both of my original cleaners, whom I loved, have left the company.) The subsequent cleaners were either not given or had not read the brief instructions I'd furnished to the company (a very short list of things I did/did not want done.) Things were constantly put away in random places, forcing me to look for things when I needed them (I'd prefer that they either asked me where to put them, or just left them out for me to put away.) Silverware was mixed/in the wrong slots every single week. Over the course of six months, two Riedel wine glasses were broken, as well as a mug and a plate. I began noticing that they were cleaning around a lot of things rather than picking them up (I'm talking about small light items, not furniture.) A trash can would remain un-emptied. I would find several weeks' worth of dust in a corner. Twice I was asked for my vacuum cleaner because theirs was not working (not a big deal, but it all adds up.) Then I noticed that they were getting in and out in 70-75 min rather than the 90 min I was paying for. And, frankly, the final straw was that one of my cleaners began pressuring me to write a good Yelp review so she would get a bonus. She asked me three times to write a review, the last time explaining the bonus she would get. I don't blame her; I blame the company for incentivizing her behavior. To be 100% fair to Greener L.A., I didn't raise most of my issues from month 3 until month 24 with the account manager. I raised some of them with the cleaners, but it was difficult because they changed so often. Account Manager Julio was very good at resolving most issues, but I just didn't want to have to go through that negotiation again. I just got tired of it and decided to try another service. Greener L.A.'s rates are fairly expensive, and for their price point, I expected a service that didn't require my constant diligence to maintain a good level of service. read more

I am so disappointed with Greener LA. I've been using them for 6 months or so every week. One three separate occasions the cleaner's left the windows in my house wide open and then left. Today, I happened to be taking the garbage out when I ran into the cleaners. They were looking for the key to my house -- they told me the service had told them it was under the doormat. And, indeed, someone from Greener LA hd left the key under the doormat. When I called the service, the guy on the phone (Don?) told me that we could discuss the matter infinitely but that the good news was I wasn't burglarized. (BTW: I was burglarized 2 years ago despite all the doors and windows being locked.) Greener LA's repeated indifference to the severity of this security lapse has caused me to find another cleaner. it's a shame -- I've loved the cleaners so far. read more

Pros: easy set up process, accommodating customer rep. nice people and I can see that they are skilled workers. Cons: I have a studio apartment and my main issue, that i was very specific about, is dust and dog hair. My place is not dirty. It's never taken more than 2 hours to completely make spotless. Mostly it's a 1.5 hours job. It's a studio! The ladies were nice and skilled (despite being 30 minutes late because of rain-based traffic) but I was specific about my needs, which they ask you to be. Unfortunately, they did not fulfill my needs. After they left I made a video and took pics and sent to the rep who apologized and offered me a discount. There was mop remnants and dog hair all in my kitchen. I was re-cleaning the floor wondering if I should really be paying anything for a job that was not complete, especially when I had specified the floors. I said to the rep: I will book with you again in a month and give you a second chance if you do not charge me for this unsatisfactory job. Or you can charge me the discounted rate and I will not book with you again. He replied saying that the cleaning would be on them, no problem, but that they could not work with me anymore. I GOT FIRED. Haha. Here's the thing: thanks for not charging me for the less-than job. But implying that I am the crazy/difficult one and telling me you can't work with me because I raised an issue with your service? That is silly and unfortunate. read more

I am VERY satisfied with my house cleaning. Rosie & her assistant were SO friendly & made me feel very safe. I have a gorgeous cat & the girls even made an effort to say hello to her; she gets scared of any kind of cleaning. The ONLY reason I didn't give this company 5 out of 5 stars was ONE, little detail they missed, which was kind of important. They didn't get the small bits of mold off the ceiling in my bathroom, but honestly, I can live with it until next time. The ladies showed up an hour early (a little too early for my liking, but it ended up being a good thing, because of the amount of time they had to take to clean). They were very friendly, and brought their own products. I mentioned a few areas I was concerned with, and they got to work. We left about an hour in, and returned after they were finished. I know estimates are not quotes, but your estimate came in WAY LOW and you need to do a better job with a more accurate estimating method.  Considering the original quote was $180 including exterior windows for a spring cleaning in a 1000 sqft house, and the exterior windows weren't even touched, I was pretty shocked at the Invoiced total of $325.  Of course I wasn't home so I had no idea how long they were here, my wife told me the two staff were here 6 hrs.  I suppose our house is more full of "knick-knacks" and was much dustier than I thought, but at least give us a warning at 3 hrs that you need a lot more time. Nonetheless, my wife is happy with the work the two workers did on the home.   When we save up again we'll do another cleaning. read more

It was a deep clean prior to an large party we were having at out home. The ladies arrived in a timely fashion and did a great job. Understandably, there were a few little things they missed (a cobweb in one of the rooms, a small area of dust), but I was also personally unavailble to give them a first-time walk-through and explanation of what I like/dislike and which areas I have issues/concerns. I am very happy with the service and plan to use them again on a recurring basis - and next time I will be there to guide them and get things as I want them.
