I was informed that the Basic Cleaning was what I needed and quoted $115, which seemed kind of steep considering the fact that my house was clean already and just needed some detailing, but figured if it got the house squeaky clean before baby gets here then it's worth it. The house was not squeaky cleaned. Evidently their version of a "Basic Clean" is the same thing that my mom and I do on a daily/weekly basis. (Dust, sweep, mop, toilet, tub.) Whenever I asked why the baseboards weren't done I was informed it's $25 extra and that I didn't mention them when I called (actually I did mention them, not being able to reach the baseboards is the whole reason I called - but I shouldn't be surprised since I did have to repeat myself several times while on the phone with her due to a slight language barrier). Evidently cleaning the outside front of a bathtub is extra too. Along with door frames and that hard to reach area behind the toilet... So much for a detailed bathroom. Very much a waste of $115, especially since we have a baby due any day now and having the house detailed was something I set aside much needed money for so that we could come home to an extra clean home. Now I'll spend the rest of the day attempting to reach the spots they didn't clean. The staff who cleaned were very nice, one even went around with a rag and did a halfway job of wiping down the baseboards for me even though the owner/supervisor was rude over the phone and told me it would cost extra. However if they took a little more pride in their work, and included basic things that any home cleaning service I've ever used before automatically includes in their version of CLEAN, they would have had another satisfied customer.

The first clean was great. The second, on 12/31/25, was a disaster. My 9am appointment was delayed until 1pm after poor communication from the owner. The cleaner showed up with almost no supplies (no vacuum, broom, or proper cleaning tools) and finished a 2,700 sq ft home in 2 hours, which is unrealistic. Communication with the owner was consistently poor. She later offered a "complimentary" clean but forgot to confirm it and rescheduled without notice. A few days later, my daughter realized her wallet was missing--the last time she saw it was the day the cleaner was here. I checked her Greenlight account and found multiple unauthorized charges. The locations match the area the cleaner said he was from. When I contacted the owner, I was blocked. I have camera footage, and police reports have been filed. The Finishing Touch Co -- extremely unprofessional. please be cautious. UPDATED: She states I had not reached out to her when I've called and texted numerous times with no response. Actually have since been blocked, which leads me to believe you were in on it as well. I'm blocked so if you would like to reach out to rectify the situation I'm open to hearing your side.

The next day, I received an email receipt confirming my payment.The company then drafted the weekly service fee from my bank account 24 hours after I already paid. I immediately called spoke with General Manager Jesus. I was told the additional charge must have been authorized by me and that I could have to wait up to four business days for the charge to finalize before a refund could be issued, then potentially another four business days for the refund to reach my account. Frustrated by the duplicate charge and response, I posted my one-star review and requested the company not contact me again. Jesus then left me a voicemail stating that he was actually the person who initiated the additional draft, despite telling me during our initial conversation that I must have authorized it. Despite my request for no further contact, Business Development emailed me stating that the owner had refunded me through Zelle and asked me to consider updating my Google review if my concerns had been resolved. I informed them that I had received no Zelle payment and the charge had not been reversed. I was then told there had been "confusion": the co-owner, Raul Wong, had actually attempted to refund the $185 through Venmo from his personal account. I do not have Venmo. I never paid them through Venmo, provided a Venmo account, or requested a Venmo refund. I again explained that I simply wanted my money returned and to not contact me anymore. Raul emailed me directly, explaining that he used my name and phone number to send the Venmo payment. He ended his response with: "As far as im concerned this matter is closed and sorry you dont accept apologies, texts or voice mails." I paid my bill, was charged again afterward, received conflicting explanations about both the charge and refund, and an attempted refund was sent through a service I don't even have.

I experienced several occasions where a scheduled appointment would be changed at the eleventh hour. In January, I was notified around midnight that my cleaning for the next morning would not occur. In February, I was notified once again but my scheduled appointment was honored and he actually mentioned that he thought he was fired. Something I didn't give much thought to until March when I received a message that the appointment booked about 2 weeks in advanced would need to be changed due to a scheduling conflict. The notification of course came around 10pm. Less than 12 hours before the expected appointments time. I asked why and the response was that he did not see the calendar until now. I thought about this and realized there is a lack of accountability here and a growing trend of unprofessionalism I no longer wished to condone. I hope they are able to recover from whatever is the cause of this and wish them the best of luck.

After explaining my concerns to Ronny (I could see that the ceiling fan was shaking) he told me that the fan just needed to be balanced but he wasn't sure how much that would cost to do. He guaranteed that the fan was safe, however. I suspected that this was not the case, and so I called our electrician to come out. It was revealed that instead of securing the fan with a box, Ronny's man screwed the fan into a piece of wood with cabinet screws, leaving the fan in danger of falling out any time it was turned on. We are getting the problem fixed now, but I cannot recommend this company for anything electrical. I reached out to Ronny after he left to tell him of my disappointment, even asking if there was a job that he did really well that he could do so that he can try to give me better representation of his company so I can leave a better review. He told me he would have another of his technicians call me but that was over a week ago and I have not heard from them. At this point, time is up and I must review him based on the info at hand - a poor, unsafe and now expensive job indeed.
