This is one of the best dive burger shops in Phoenix. They have a whole wall dedicated to glass bottle sodas, and you can find pretty much any soda you've ever wanted to try...including some you may not want to try (bacon flavored soda!)...but that's the fun of it. As far as food and burgers go, there are some real options here like the New York burger which comes with Pastrami, or the Philly Cheesesteak burger, which is also incredible. They also have hot dogs, subs, desserts, and so much more. There are so many options, which leaves me hesitant at most places because I wonder how they can do so much and still uphold quality, but this place manages to do it (try the ghost pepper cheese on your burger!). On top of the food and soda, this is a local family-owned restaurant with friendly staff. I have personally seen the owner talk with a homeless man who walked in and he gave him a drink and made him feel welcome even though the man didn't buy anything. It's nice to have places like this in the neighborhood, and whenever I am in the neighborhood, I make sure to give this place my business. read more

The New Yorker is made with the juiciest and most flavorful pastrami I have ever tasted! I really value the fact that the meat doesn't taste like it's been simmering in a steam-table all day. Not at all as good as they used to be. The older lady working the register had no idea what she was doing and she seemed intoxicated. Our order came out completely wrong as well. I ordered a country club and they gave me a California one. The "salad greens" on the sandwich were brown and disgusting and there was little to no turkey on the sandwich. Just very poorly made. I was also disappointed to learn that they didn't have fresh bananas for their shakes. This place used to be good but it's obvious that they don't care about their standards anymore. A classic no frills burger place with plenty of flavor and a vast selection of sodas to wash it down. For my visit I had the Eddie Lopez burger which is your standard burger topped with pastrami and some of their rocket sauce. The pastrami was excellent with just the right amount of caramelizing and not too crazy with the sauce. The burger was well seasoned and bursting with juicy flavor. You gotta love when a place seasons their burgers correctly. The included fries were also seasoned quite heavy, but I feel this is a classic burger place style, especially when you're piling them down with plenty of ketchup. You can't have a proper greasy spoon burger with out a good soda to wash it down. Luckily Rocket Burger offers over 1,000 sodas, juices, and teas. They have everything from obscure energy drinks to classic Mexican Cokes, it would take years to taste every soda in this place. Even if you're not a burger fan you can easily find something you like in the cooler. Overall Rocket Burger was fantastic, and I will be going back to enjoy another delicious meal. read more

Always amazing food! There isn't a single thing I haven't enjoyed. Even with UberEats the food is perfect, especially for the price!

There was like 3 people in there. We walked in no on greeted us. Waited 10 minutes still not a word. The cashier was just looking stressed even though they were empty. I also didn't see any Uber drivers. Maybe there was a catering order but a quick "Welcome in I'll be with you in a minute " goes a long way. Let me start by saying I had been meaning to come to Rocket Burger for a month or so.. The place makes you feel like a kid again with ridiculous amounts of flavored sodas from super rare brands. They even have Jolt.... So the places drink selection is off the charts..The burger and fries could have been a bit better.. Staff was friendly, however I was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked, granted it came out good. But the special sauce they use I could have done without..and the fries were average. This place was STELLAR! The surroundings are a little sketch BUT nonetheless this place was nothing short of amazing! My boyfriend is a HUGE burger guy and loves Lennys (I think they are too soggy) so I checked out other places around me and this one popped up! I couldn't believe the flavors that were in that Tomahawk burger. SO DELICIOUS! I hate cheese and I thought I'd disturb the peace if I ordered it without the cheese and I'm SO HAPPY I GOT IT AS IS! This place was so good, I had gotten the cheese curds and they were really good. It wasn't like biting into a ball of grease which happens at most places. The burgers were also very good, I had gotten a single and it still filled me up! The wall full of sodas is a really cool aspect as well, but there were so many choices is was hard to choose!
